An 82-year-old woman has died in hospital two days after being involved in a head-on crash in Perth and incident happened at about 15:00 on Saturday on the B996 between the A912 Bein Inn Road and the village of woman was driving a black Nissan Micra from Glenfarg towards Perth when it was involved in a collision with a white Dacia said the woman, who has not been named, died on Monday and the 58-year-old female driver of the Dacia Duster remains in hospital. Sgt John McDiarmid said: "Our inquiries into this collision are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch."

Police are appealing for information after a 82-year-old woman died and a 58-year-old woman was left in hospital following a two-car crash on the B996 in Perth. An 82-year-old woman has died and a 58-year old woman remains in hospital following a horror two-car crash. ‌ Police are now appealing for information following the crash near Glenfarg, in Perth, on Saturday, July 12. ‌ The collision occurred at around 3pm on the B996, between the A912 Bein Inn Road and Glenfarg. ‌ A black Nissan Micra was travelling from Glenfarg towards Perth and a white Dacia Duster was travelling in the opposite direction when both vehicles collided. Emergency services attended and both female drivers were taken to Ninewells Hospital for treatment. The 82-year-old driver of the Nissan Micra died on Monday, July 14. The 58-year-old driver of the Dacia Duster remains in hospital. Sergeant John McDiarmid said: 'Our enquiries into this collision are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time of the crash to get in touch. 'If you have dash-cam, please check the footage for anything of significance. Any information could prove vital as we establish the full circumstances of the incident.' Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 2226 of Saturday, July 12.

Emergency crews raced to the B996, between the A912 Bein Inn Road and Glenfarg, near Perth, after the alarm was raised around 3pm on Saturday.
