Dadamonibrings, a new Bengali television drama, explores the profound bond between siblings, sacrifice, and the clash between tradition and modernity in rural Bengal. A new Bengali television drama Dadamoni brings to life a heart-touching story of sibling love, personal sacrifice, and the push-and-pull between tradition and change. Set in rural Bengal, the narrative follows Shom, a devoted brother who assumes responsibility for his four sisters after the family is fractured by their mother's departure and their father's descent into alcoholism. Determined to secure their future, Shom initially believes that marriage is the answer—but his outlook begins to change as each sister pursues her own unique dreams. Supporting his evolution is Parvati, a childhood friend and doctor, who encourages him to balance tradition with empathy. The story features Pratik Sen in the central role of Shom, a nurturing figure who embodies both emotional warmth and firm resolve. Anushka Chakraborty plays Parvati, the progressive yet rooted voice in his life. The ensemble cast includes theatre veterans such as Debesh Chattopadhyay and Gambhira Bhattacharya.
