This latest millionaire becomes the 5th winner of the top prize in the Daily Million draw after purchasing their Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw, Friday 18 July. Darragh O'Dwyer, National Lottery spokesperson said: 'We're absolutely thrilled to confirm that Friday's Daily Million top prize ticket was sold in Portlaoise! "This is life-changing news for one Laois player, and we're encouraging everyone who bought a ticket in the area to check it carefully - you could be Ireland's newest millionaire. "We can't wait to reveal the winning store location tomorrow, and we're looking forward to celebrating this exciting win with the local community,' he added.
