Love Island's latest bombshell Angel Swift 'secretly dated TOWIE hunk Dan Edgar' just weeks before entering the villa in latest twist
Love island's new bombshell Angel Swift reportedly dated fellow reality star and TOWIE hunk Dan Edgar just weeks before she entered the villa. The stunner, 26, made her show debut on Thursday and quickly caused chaos in a latest twist that saw her stealing Ty Isherwood from Lauren Wood which left her dumped from the island. But before signing up to Love Island Angel was said to have been dating Dan, 35, following his split from co-star Ella Rae Wise, 25. In a snap obtained by The Sun the pair can be seen looking cosy as they soaked up the sun in Marbella during the May 2025 bank holiday. A friend of Angel's told the publication: '[Angel and Dan] were seen at various events, it was casual dating but they had fun together'. Meanwhile a source close to Dan claimed things were never serious between the two, saying: 'It was just one date really, and it was after he split from Ella. Dan was very much single at the time'. MailOnline have contacted Dan's reps and ITV for comment. Angel is aesthetics practitioner and salon owner from Maidstone and has already revealed she isn't afraid to step on toes. Ahead of her entrance she was asked whether she would break up a couple she replied: 'Breaking up another couple? That is what's going to happen, so it's quite exciting really. 'I feel like people have been getting their heads turned very easily. I do feel like I have quite a good chance of turning someone's head.' Angel describes herself as a '20 out of 10' and already has her eyes set on one islander in particular. She said: 'I'd like to get to know Ty and see what he's about.' After being single for a year she is going into the villa with the hope of finding a serious relationship. 'It's an amazing opportunity to make new connections and have new experiences.
