Watch: Aespa performs 'Dark Arts' in 'PUBG' collab launch film
July 9 (UPI) -- South Korean girl group Aespa is kicking off its PUBG: Battlegrounds collaboration with the "Dark Arts" launch film released Wednesday. The video features Aespa's song "Dark Arts" and shows the K-pop stars shooting guns and fighting opponents before ultimately taking off in a convertible. "The PUBG x Aespa collaboration drops with a bang -- channeling Aespa's aggressive beats, sharp aesthetics and signature metallic punch into the PUBG world," an official synopsis reads. PUBG now contains an Aespa Emote Stage, Desert Dome, Rest Stop and Crop Field, a press release states. Console players will have access to the collaboration July 17. The battle royale multiplayer game was released in 2017. Aespa, which includes Ningning, Karina, Giselle and Winter, will release the "Dark Arts" song in full July 15. They released their single "Dirty Work" in June.

SEOUL, July 3 — K-pop girl group aespa will release a new song titled Dark Arts on July 15 in collaboration with the global battle royale game PUBG: Battlegrounds. Developer Krafton and the group's agency SM Entertainment announced the collaboration, which aims to merge aespa's 'metallic' and 'iron-flavoured' aesthetic with PUBG's action-driven, survival-based gameplay. aespa is dropping in with a big flash and they are coming to take center stage. PUBG: Battlegrounds is a first-person survival shooting game developed by Krafton in 2017, and has previously partnered with girl groups BabyMonster and NewJeans. The first teaser for the collaboration dropped on June 21 with the cryptic phrase 'Signal detected' on PUBG: Battlegrounds' official social media channels. Additional teaser videos, including a concept preview slated for release today at 6pm, will be shared before the official launch of the song. This partnership is part of aespa's global branding efforts following the release of its EP Dirty Work on Friday, which surpassed one million preorders and topped Korea's Circle Chart, China's QQ Music and Japan's AWA.

Flustered and frustrated Edmonton Oilers losing grip on Stanley Cup
Article content After razor-thin margins sent the first two games of the series to overtime, Game 3 was a clean kill for the Panthers. Florida ran the show from start to finish, thumping the bewildered Oilers in every aspect of the game in a harrowing 6-1 beatdown. The Panthers played the Oilers like a fiddle. They hit them hard, they took dives and drew penalties when the Oilers hit back, they laughed at them in the scrums and feasted on the energy and chaos that had the Oilers so flustered. As poised and experienced as the Oilers are, they aren't in Florida's league when it comes to the Dark Arts. And the Panthers beat them in the skill department, too, with Florida's big dogs dominating their Oilers counterparts. Brad Marchand, Carter Verhaeghe, Sam Reinhart, Sam Bennett, Evan Rodrigues and Aaron Ekblad all scored for the defending champions. Forty-year-old Corey Perry was the only Oiler to get on the board.
