Marvel's ‘Thunderbolts*' Arrives On Streaming This Week

Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, Wyatt Russell, David Harbour, Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan in ... More "Thunderbolts*." Thunderbolts*, Marvel's latest adventure starring Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan and David Harbour, is coming to digital streaming this week. Directed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts*, aka The New Avengers, opened in theaters on May 2. The official summary for the film reads, 'Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova (Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Stan), Red Guardian (Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and John Walker (Wyatt Russell). 'After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss), these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it's too late?' Rated PG-13, Thunderbolts* also stars Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer and Wendell Pierce. Disney-Marvel announced in a YouTube trailer on June 18 that Thunderbolts* would be arriving on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, July 1. Thunderbolts* will be available to purchase for $29.99 on such digital platforms as Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Prime Video and YouTube. In addition, Thunderbolts* will be available to rent for $24.99 for a 48-hour period that begins once the viewer begins watching the film. Jake Schreier Pitched His Ideas About 'Thunderbolts' While Working On Netflix Hit 'Beef' In an interview with The Wrap published on Thunderbolts* opening day in theaters on May 2, director Jake Schreier told the trade publication that he began pitching his ideas for the Marvel antihero film while directing episodes for acclaimed 2022 Netflix dark comedy series Beef, starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong. During the long process of laying out his game plan for Thunderbolts* for Marvel Studios, Schreier told The Wrap that he even brought Beef creator Lee Sung Jin to work on some drafts of the script. 'It was about bringing a lot of that tone that we explored in Beef and feeling like that could work on an even larger scale,' Schreier told The Wrap. 'He really believed in this idea that you could explore darker, internal issues and that these ideas are not niche anymore, that those are really universal things that everyone experienced.' Thunderbolts* to date has earned $187,6 million domestically and $191.8 million internationally for a worldwide box office gross of $381.5 million against a $180 million production budget before prints and advertising, according to The Numbers. In addition, the film earned an 88% 'fresh' rating from Rotten Tomatoes critics based on 350 reviews and a 93% 'fresh' Popcornmeter score based on 10,000-plus verified user ratings. Rated PG-13, Thunderbolts* will be released on digital streaming on July 1.

MCU Star Asked For Name To Be Removed From 'Thunderbolts' Credits

The Marvel Cinematic Universe delivered a well-received hit with Thunderbolts , an unexpected result given the uncertainty surrounding the title. And, while the movie is enjoying a successful response from viewers, not everyone wanted to be credited. In fact, one MCU star asked for their name to be removed from the credits featured in Thunderbolts . The film features a number of major stars, most of whom appeared in previous MCU projects, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Pierce, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. As such, it's a film known for its cast, and one would assume everyone would want to be credited alongside these stars. As shared with Interview magazine, however, the actor explained why they asked to have their credits removed. This was revealed when they sat down to speak with cast member David Harbour who previously starred in the previous MCU project Black Widow . The cast member that spoke with Harbour, Scarlett Johansson, shared the following response when Harbour asked if she saw the film, noting that she's 'all over this movie' and responded with the following when she said she hadn't: 'OK. You are an executive producer on it. Congratulations.' Johansson added that she 'asked to have my credit removed,' specifically because of her lack of creative input, noting that 'I wasn't involved.' It's certainly a surprising response from the Black Widow star, especially knowing that she's played her character in numerous MCU projects going back to some of the earliest films in the franchise. Nevertheless, Thunderbolts does make another nice send-off for the character, even if she wasn't creatively involved or mentioned in the credits. Whether or not she'll receive other chances to work on the MCU remains to be seen, though it's unlikely that she'll reprise her role as Black Widow, which she insists in the interview has been completed. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates on the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we have them. Now that Thunderbolts has hit theaters, fans can enjoy the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in theaters on July 25, 2025.

Kelly Osbourne showcases her slender frame in a chic black dress as she attends The Serpentine Gallery Summer Party

Kelly Osbourne showcased her slender frame in a chic black dress as she attended the glitzy Serpentine Gallery Summer Party in London on Tuesday. The TV personality, 40, who is the daughter of rock legend Ozzy and TV star Sharon, oozed elegance in the strapless number, which featured a fitted bodice and striking gold-toned detailing at the neckline. She added inches to her frame with a pair of black open-toe platform heels as she confidently posed for the cameras. The beauty was also joined by pal Lily Allen, 40, who turned heads in a strapless black gown adorned with dramatic white feathers and polka dots. Accessorising with diamond drop earrings, the singer showcased the results of her recent boob job, which she underwent earlier this year following her split from husband David Harbour, 50. Kelly's outing comes after she shared a snap of herself earlier this year looking dramatically different, reigniting speculation that she's had plastic surgery. The star took to Instagram to post a couple of glamorous shots after getting her hair and makeup done, with her face looking smoother and more chiselled than ever. Captioning the photos, Kelly revealed she'd been all glammed up for her plans to be cancelled at the last minute, lamenting: 'Sat through glam only to find that my day had been cancelled. #alldressedupandnowheretogo'. However, her followers were distracted by her noticeably slimmer and tauter appearance, which highlighted her sharper jawline, voluptuous lips, and lifted brows. They raced to the comments to admit they could barely recognise the star and accused her of getting heavy cosmetic work done that had made her look as though she'd had a 'full head transplant'. They commented: 'Is Kelly Osborne in the room with us?'; 'WHO IS THAT?? Wft....'; 'Gifted a new head for Christmas….'; 'totally different head'. 'Who's face is that?'; 'Full head transplant'; 'Lots of money and a good plastic surgeon and we can all be this beautiful'. 'Wow amazing what tons of plastic surgery, ozempic and money can do'; 'Is this the same Kelly Osbourne or..'; 'New face, who dis?' She was also joined by pal Lily, 40, who turned heads in a strapless black gown adorned with dramatic white feathers and polka dots 'Where is Kelly?'; 'can't imagine how many surgeries, fillers, botox injections, skin treatments, etc. were involved in this transformation. When you no longer look anything like yourself, what exactly did you accomplish?' 'Teenage Kelly would not be happy about this'; 'What in the millions dollars worth of plastic surgery is this'; 'Is she AI?!' Kelly has undergone many changes in her appearance over the years. In 2020, she revealed that she had quietly undergone gastric sleeve surgery two years before, leading to a jaw-dropping 85lb weight loss. She also previously admitted to having injections to change the shape of her face, and make her jaw look 'skinnier,' after suffering with TMJ (temporomandibular joint dysfunction). However, Kelly has repeatedly and furiously denied that she has had any cosmetic procedures besides Botox. Last year, she declared that she was a 'huge fan' of plastic surgery, but insisted that she was too scared to get anything done after seeing her mother go under the knife so many times. She told People: 'I am a huge fan of plastic surgery. What it does for people is amazing. It can change people's lives and give them the confidence they've been lacking, and make people feel beautiful in the way they want to feel beautiful. 'But I've never done anything but Botox. I'm too scared. I've always been in the camp of if you think it's broken, fix it. You don't have to be stuck with a nose you hate for the rest of your life. So yes, I'm a huge fan.' She explained the root of her fear, saying: 'I watched my mum go through every recovery from everything she's ever had done, and it looks awful'. They raced to the comments to admit they could barely recognise the star and accused her of getting heavy cosmetic work done that had made her look as though she'd had a 'full head transplant' Sharon, 72, has undergone a range of procedures including a gastric band, full facelift, tummy tuck, an eyelift, breast implants, abdominoplasty and Botox. While she has branded her 2021 facelift the 'worst thing she ever did' after the procedure left her 'looking like a cyclops' and 'Quasimodo'. Back in March last year, Sharon shocked the public after she made her return to UK reality TV on Celebrity Big Brother. The star couldn't hide her weight loss on the show as she revealed doctors 'can't figure out' why she hasn't been able to gain weight back after she stopped using Ozempic months ago. 'The doctors can't figure it out,' she said. 'But I think it's just because I'm getting older and as you get older you lose weight anyway and shrink and shrivel off.' On why she decided to start receiving Ozempic injections, Sharon said 'everyone was doing it'.

Lily Allen shows off her washboard abs as she shares gym workout selfie after enjoying a date with actor James Norton

Lily Allen has showed off her washboard as she shared a gym selfie on Instagram on Monday. The Smile hitmaker, 40, kicked off her week with a workout session as she shared the snap on social media. Lily displayed her impressive toned abdomen in a black sports bra with high-waisted skintight leggings. She completed her gym look with chunky white trainers and grey crew socks, playing the Missy Elliot track Work It over the snap. Lily recently enjoyed a date with actor James Norton, 39, after meeting on the celebrity dating app Raya earlier this month. The duo made the most of their first outing, with the pair reportedly seen snogging backstage while attending Charli XCX's Lido Festival show. The singer and actor, 39, were pictured cosying up to one another and sipping on non-alcoholic beers as they watched Charli's show in the capital, before heading to a backstage compound to party with the singer. A source told The Sun: 'James and Lily looked very into each other and they were snogging backstage. 'We were all quite surprised to see them there together, let alone kissing. 'I don't think they've even known each other that long, but it was a fun hang-out backstage and they got taken away by the vibe.' Lily ended her marriage to Stranger Things star husband David Harbour, 50, in December 2024 after four years of marriage, following her discovery he had a secret profile on Raya. Meanwhile James is said to have split from model girlfriend Charlotte Rose Smith, 26, last month before being spotted back on the star-studded dating site. Raya is so exclusive that it accepts only around eight per cent of applicants, but it has more than 10,000 members, with 100,000 on the waiting list. James' Raya profile is said to feature photos of the Happy Valley star with a shaved head – a dramatic new look he's adopted for his upcoming role in Sunny Dancer, currently being filmed in Scotland with co-star Bella Ramsey. The hunk, who is a strong contender to be the next James Bond, started dating Charlotte late last year and was pictured out with her on several occasions. At the time, an insider told The Sun: 'They have been enjoying dates and seem very happy together. 'It has been a year since his relationship with [ex Imogen Potts] ended and he appears to get on so well with Charlotte. They make a lovely couple.' Not long before Lily split from husband David, she turned amateur sleuth after speculating that David had 'cheated' on the same dating app where they met. She was left in 'agony' when she allegedly discovered the actor had a secret profile, The Mail on Sunday revealed. The pop star joined the app herself, pretending to be 'looking for women' – and allegedly found that David had already set up a dating profile. He was reportedly listed on the app as being active for at least a month. Once users find a new partner, they usually disable their profiles. A source said: 'Lily was looking for women that were on Raya and cross-referencing them with women David follows on Instagram to try to figure out who he was seeing. She was doing her Wagatha thing. 'Lily only rejoined Raya to try to figure out whether he was seeing someone. 'Lily has never even looked at anyone since she met David. She is devastated. He broke up with Lily a month ago.
