Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 leak reveals new modes and screenshots via Xbox app
New details have emerged around Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, including two brand new modes and a hint at the new movement system. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 was officially announced during the Xbox showcase earlier this month, and while we know some details about the sequel, it's unclear what sets this entry apart from all its predecessors. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, Black Ops 7 is a story sequel to 2012's Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. The campaign is set in 2035 and follows a team of agents led by David Mason and, as usual, this sits alongside the usual multiplayer and round-based Zombies modes. However, a couple of new additions to the multiplayer suite have since been leaked via the Call Of Duty Xbox app, along with a potential tease towards the game's movement mechanic. According to CharlieIntel, an internal developer-only Black Ops 7 playtest was scheduled to take place this weekend, which 'accidentally pushed the message of the day to everyone' on Xbox via the Call Of Duty app. This message included several screenshots which highlighted two new modes. The first is called Overload, which is described as a team-based 6v6 mode where players 'fight to control a neutral EMP device that must be delivered to the enemy HQ for score'. In other words, it sounds like a reverse spin on Capture The Flag. The second mode is a 20v20 mode called Skirmish, where players complete objectives on a large map in a similar vein to 32v32 mode Ground War. 'Capture points of interest, destroy payloads, and transmit valuable data to score,' the description reads. 'Use your wingsuit to flank and reach objectives before your enemy. The first team to reach the score limit wins!' Sign up to the GameCentral newsletter for a unique take on the week in gaming, alongside the latest reviews and more. BREAKING: An internal developer message of the day for BLACK OPS 7 accidentally went live on the Xbox Call of Duty app showing new details NEW MODE: Overload NEW MODE: 20v20 — CharlieIntel (@charlieINTEL) June 27, 2025 This confirms the wingsuit will return in Black Ops 7, after it was previously featured in Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 4. More Trending Earlier this month, Activision confirmed there will be no wall-running or jetpacks in Black Ops 7, as it is set 30 years prior to Black Ops 3. However, Stephanie Snowdon, Activision's senior director of communications, did say it will feature 'an evolution of omni-movement' from Black Ops 6. While it's unclear what this evolution will be, some players have spotted what looks like an exosuit of some kind in the background of one of the leaked screenshots. While it could be a cosmetic item, reliable Call Of Duty leaker TheGhostOfHope has claimed the sequel will feature 'wall jumping' instead of wall running, so it could be related. Activision has not yet announced a release date for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7, but a full reveal is promised 'later this summer'. Email gamecentral@ leave a comment below, follow us on Twitter. EXCLUSIVE British expat, 54, lucky to be alive after Iranian missile exploded next to him and his son as they fled bombing raid - as first UK evacuation flight takes off from Israel
A British expat told last night how he and his son barely escaped with their lives after an Iranian missile exploded next to them in a bombing raid – as the first UK evacuation flight took off from Tel Aviv. David Mason, 54, was lucky to survive Friday's attack on Haifa, in northern Israel. The Rochdale-born father, who has lived in the country for 35 years, was with son Itay, 16, when the alarms warned of enemy fire. Unable to reach a shelter, they initially took cover with others underneath a bridge. From his hospital bed, Mr Mason told the Mail last night: 'We pulled over and ran for shelter but we had no idea where to run to, so we decided to run towards this bridge. There were a lot of people huddled under the bridge but I felt it wasn't safe, because if the bridge collapsed we would all be history. I then saw an underground car park close by. 'Just as I went to make a run for it with my son, there was this massive explosion. I've never heard anything like it in my life. 'A missile had hit a building 30ft or so away from us. The debris went flying and all of it hit us including metal parts from the bridge. I thought we were dead. An RAF flight for Britons yesterday left the Israeli capital for Cyprus with 63 on board. No 10 said 'around 1,000' had asked to be evacuated 'There was a body under me and I thought it was my son. I started crying his name, it was absolutely horrific. I cannot describe the fear of thinking you have lost your child, it felt like for ever. 'All of a sudden I saw him standing there with a bleeding giant hole in his neck. I went into dad mode, and tilted his head to the side and wrapped a shirt around him. He looked white as a sheet and was shocked.' An ambulance took the pair to the Rambam Hospital in the Mediterranean port. Doctors said the shrapnel was close to killing Itay. Mr Mason added: 'My son has recovered enough to have been discharged. I am still recovering in hospital and waiting to see if my hearing has been damaged.' At least 31 were injured in the missile attack on Friday, which coincided with attempts to broker peace with Iran in Geneva. Meanwhile, an RAF flight for Britons yesterday left the Israeli capital for Cyprus with 63 on board. No 10 said 'around 1,000' had asked to be evacuated – a quarter of the 4,000 registered as being in Israel or Palestine since the conflict began. Foreign Secretary David Lammy told the Commons more flights will be arranged based on 'demand and the latest security situation'.

Blood Message trailer: A reflection of Black Myth Wukong and Ghost of Tsushima, NetEase announces first single-player game
After the exciting PlayStation State of Play event, which announced upcoming games like Astro Bot, First Steps, Ghost of Yotei, 007 First Light, and Nioh 3, among others, another enticing development is taking place in the world of gaming. Developers NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment have just announced a single-player action game titled Blood Message and dropped a 5-minute trailer. This will be NetEase's first ever single-player game. The game is set in the final years of the legendary Tang dynasty of China and follows the story of a nameless protagonist during the 'Dunhuang uprising'. The trailer opens with a shot of our protagonist wading through the desert while a voice in the background talks about the demise of the Tang dynasty. The game most likely is making a reference to the time when the dynasty weakened and lost control of the region of Dunhuang, which was a focal point of communication between China and the rest of the world. The region was fought over many times, and the story of the game seems to be set during one of those rebellions. We see our protagonist trying to rescue his son from the city before the war destroys it. He soon discovers that his son has decided to travel to the Tang capital as part of another uprising. Watch From here the main narrative of the game begins, as we see a glimpse of the fight sequences and the overall world the story is set in. Some movements of the main character seem a bit like Assassin's Creed and Ghost of Tsushima, while the underlying presence of spirituality and belief in a higher someone reminds the viewer of the game Black Myth: Wukong, another game with Buddhist and Taoist folklore rooted deep within its story. The developers have already revealed that even though the game will feature an expansive world, the story in itself is linear in nature. Linear essentially means that while the players will have certain choices which can affect certain outcomes, the overall structure of the game shall remain fixed. No announcements about the release date have been made yet, and NetEase has not informed the audience about the consoles the game will be available on.

Will Call of Duty Black Ops 7 have wall running?
Image via Activision. There is no doubt that Call of Duty Black Ops 7 has to be one of the most exciting announcements at the recently concluded Xbox Games Showcase 2025. This announcement trailer also confirmed the return of David Mason, face of the Black Ops series. However, the hottest topic regarding this upcoming CoD title is surely its movement mechanics. Black Ops 6 stunned everybody with its never-seen-ever movement scheme called Omni-movement. Now, the successor is believed to do the same, but will it bring back one iconic maneuver technique from the past? Call of Duty Black Ops 7 won't have wall-running Activision has recently stated that Call of Duty Black Ops 7 won't feature wall-running or jetpacks. This has been confirmed by the senior director of communications at Activision herself, Stephanie Snowden, in a new episode of COD Pod. Black Ops 7 Teaser Secrets EXPLAINED + BTS of How Finishing Moves are Really Made | COD POD Ep. 006 Wall-running is something we prevalently saw in older CoD titles like Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare, and others. We have seen how the Omni-movement divided the CoD community in two halves. Some players found it pretty awesome, whereas a large chunk of the fanbase felt it killed the original Call of Duty vibe by prioritizing movement over gunplay. But before this wall-running was the most talked-about movement mechanism in this franchise. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Discover the best investment opportunity. سالك Learn More Undo Now, Omni-movement will likely be featured in Black Ops 7 as well. That is why fans also thought wall-running might make a return as well, keeping in mind its capability to sync with the Omni-movement. Not only that, there were even prominent leaks all around the internet when players started wall-running in Black Ops 6, which actually wasn't even a part of the game. Many people thought Activision might have added this feature in BO6 to try it out so that it can be added in BO7. But that's not the case. Snowden also confirmed that despite being released right after Black Ops 6, the upcoming title is set 30 years before Black Ops 3. After hearing this, the omission of wall-running makes a lot of sense as BO3 actually featured it. However, there has been several rumors from credible industry insiders that despite the absence of wall-running, Black Ops 7 might feature wall-jumping.
