Entries open for 2026 Aramex Dubai to Muscat Sailing Race

Dubai, UAE – Entries are now open for the 2026 Aramex Dubai to Muscat Sailing Race, the Arabian Gulf's leading offshore sailing event. The race, scheduled to start January 31, 2026, invites sailors from across the region and around the world to take part in one of the most challenging and scenic courses in the sport. Spanning 360 nautical miles, the race route runs from Dubai's coastline through the Strait of Hormuz and along Oman's Musandam peninsula before finishing in Muscat. Known for its tactical complexity and variable conditions, the course is a true test of seamanship and endurance. Now in its 33rd year, the Aramex Dubai to Muscat race has grown from a friendly challenge between sailors into the Gulf's only dedicated offshore yacht race, continuing to attract an increasingly diverse and competitive fleet. Following a record-setting edition in 2025, organisers are aiming for even greater participation in 2026. 'We're inviting boats from across the Gulf and internationally to join the race,' said Race Director David Worrall. 'Whether you're an experienced offshore sailor or a regional crew ready to step up, this is an opportunity to take on one of the most unique courses on the international calendar.' The race is open to a wide range of entries, including IRC, cruising, multihull, and double-handed categories. Dedicated support is available for youth, mixed-gender, corporate, and all-female teams.
