Yas Waterworld Expands With Over 20 New Rides & a Whole New Zone

The new Lost City expansion adds over 20 rides, including the region's first dueling tube raft, a log flume, and a mini boomerango for kids. Jul 04, 2025 Yas Waterworld has opened the gates to its largest expansion yet, adding more than 20 new rides, slides, and attractions across a newly unveiled 13,445 sqm area called The Lost City . The new zone builds on the park's original narrative, The Legend of the Lost Pearl , and introduces a broader range of experiences—from high-thrill drops to kid-friendly splash zones. Notable additions include Al Falaj Race , the region's first side-by-side dueling tube raft ride, and Bahamut's Rage , a log flume with steep descents and sharp turns. Several of the rides are tailored for younger visitors, such as Al Sahel Junior , a mini zero-gravity boomerango, and Dawwama Junior , a child-sized take on the park's iconic ride. Other new features include desert-themed slides like Al Mafras , winding aqua tubes like Red Dunes , and multi-person raft rides including Mataha Madness and Sadaf Swirl . The expansion brings Yas Waterworld's total attraction count to over 60, alongside extended summer hours and new on-site amenities.
