$1 million lottery prize won in Boston from 'Monopoly' game
A Boston woman won $1 million after she bought a winning lottery ticket from a Monopoly-themed game.
Sendy Vaughn Suazo, of Roxbury, won $1 million from the "$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler" scratch ticket game. There's still three $1 million prizes and one $4 million grand prize remaining to be claimed in the game as of June 26.
Vaughn Suazo chose the cash option on her $1 million prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes. She told the lottery she plans to invest her winnings.
Vaughn Suazo bought her winning ticket at the Dearborn Liquor Store located at 60 Dearborn St. in Roxbury. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
