Musa also commended Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor and his Cabinet for their commitment to advancing the state in line with a more inclusive and sustainable developing agenda. He emphasised that the State's achievements must be preserved through meticulous planning, effective implementation, and continuous commitment. He said development efforts must not cease but instead be further strengthened to ensure that the progress achieved continues to grow sustainably and inclusively. 'It is true that maintaining success is far more challenging than achieving it. It requires careful planning, effective execution, and unwavering determination. 'Therefore, strong cooperation between the government and the people is essential to ensure that the achievements we have made can be sustained and improved upon for the benefit of both current and future generations,' the Governor said. According to him, a progressive and forward-thinking approach is crucial to navigate the rapidly changing economic landscape and technological advancements. 'We must always be ready and adaptable so as not to be left behind in the increasingly challenging tide of global development. To face all these challenges and changes in the current economic landscape, we need a progressive and visionary approach to ensure that the state continues to develop and remain prosperous. 'This includes promoting technological innovation, developing a high-quality talent pool, and strengthening a resilient economic sector. All of this requires an openness to change and a strong resolve to move forward,' he said. In addition, he called on the people to continue nurturing unity and practicing mutual respect to preserve the state's harmony. 'Unity is the foundation of our strength and the key to peace and progress in the state. I hope that the values of consensus and the spirit of togetherness will continue to be cultivated so that Sabah remains peaceful, prosperous, and competitive, and can be passed down to future generations,' he said.
