Ather launches new Rizta S 3.7kWh variant in India at Rs 1.37 lakh
Ather Energy has expanded its family-friendly Rizta scooter lineup with the launch of the new Rizta S featuring a 3.7kWh battery pack. Priced at ₹1.37 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), this latest variant brings an impressive IDC-certified range of 159 km—making it a smart pick for urban commuters who need longer range without stretching their budget.
Since its debut in 2024, the Rizta series has become a key player in Ather's portfolio, quickly earning its place as the company's best-selling scooter. With over 1 lakh units sold within a year, the Rizta now contributes more than 60% to Ather's total sales. The new 3.7kWh variant builds on this momentum, offering customers another solid choice that blends affordability with performance and convenience.
The Rizta has always stood out for its practical design and high build quality, and the new variant stays true to that promise. It retains the generous 34-litre underseat storage—expandable to 56 litres with an optional Frunk—and one of the roomiest seats in its segment, ensuring comfort for both the rider and pillion. The floorboard is thoughtfully designed for daily usability, and Ather's commitment to rigorous engineering standards means this new version is just as reliable and robust as its siblings.
What makes this variant especially appealing is how well it balances cost with features. The Rizta S 3.7kWh comes loaded with Ather's DeepView™ 7-inch display offering Turn-by-Turn Navigation, along with a suite of smart and safety-focused features like AutoHold™, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, and anti-theft alerts. It also supports voice control via Alexa and is OTA-update ready, so the scooter can get better over time with new software updates.
Charging is also a breeze—owners can use the extensive Ather Grid network, which now includes over 3,900 public charging stations across India. For home use, Ather's plug-and-play charging solution makes overnight top-ups simple and reliable.
Customers will also benefit from Ather's 'Eight70' warranty program, which guarantees 70% battery health for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. This new variant is available through Ather's retail network and online store, with deliveries set to begin soon.
