Topshop to launch Cara Delevingne collab, names key French, Danish stores as relaunch stockists
Topshop has been gradually releasing information linked to its full-scale comeback this year and the latest news this week is that two major European names will stock the now-online-only label in their physical stores. Reports said both France's Printemps and Denmark's Magasin du Nord (which used to be owned by Debenhams) will carry the relaunched brand. And in Ireland, department store McElhinneys will also be a stockist. On Tuesday, the retailer's Instagram page also showed a picture of supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne with the words: 'Introducing Cara Delevingne. A bold new era begins. Sign up at to be the first to know about the launch.' That was the first hint of the fact that the brand is in mid-August launching a curated 30-piece edit in a collab with Delevingne in to kick off its high-profile comeback. It's a fitting link-up given her first appearance in a Topshop campaign was in 2010 with the model later being the solo face of the brand's AW14 campaign. Delevingne said: 'As a London girl, Topshop was the place where fashion felt fun, fearless, and full of possibilities. Coming back to Topshop now is more than a return – it's about starting something new. This collection is about owning your style, your story, and feeling empowered to express that every day.' As for the stockist news, it's known that it will be available in other European locations as well as stores beyond the continent but their names haven't yet been revealed, although the brand is already available at Nordstrom in the US through an earlier deal. There's also expected to be a single wholesale partner for the UK that will see the label available in UK physical locations in its home market again. Topshop and sibling brand Topman were part of the failed Arcadia Group and were bought by e-tail giant ASOS post-pandemic in early 2021 when Arcadia was broken up. ASOS took them online-only and later relaunched them. But ASOS's own problems got in the way of a full-on comeback and this year control of the business was acquired by Heartland. The holding company of the family behind Denmark's Bestseller deepened its close links with ASOS (it already has a major stake in the company) buying 75% of Topshop/Topman for £135 million, with ASOS retaining the minority stake and distribution rights. The plan is for a big relaunch of the two labels with teasers building up to this including a one-day London pop-up in May, a gamified teaser campaign and 'coming soon' holding pages for a new webstore. There will also be a major Topshop/Topman runway show for AW25 in London next month.

Topshop Teases New Relaunch Campaign — And It Stars Cara Delevingne
The countdown is on: Topshop 2.0 is almost here — and for the big comeback, it's partnered with longtime brand muse Cara Delevingne. The beloved high street brand, which is relaunching next month, has chosen Delevingne to be the face of its new era, casting her in its Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign shot by Bartek Szmigulski. 'To be asked to be part of the relaunch, it meant so much to me — and my teenage self, who remembers going into Topshop and really feeling like you could find anything you wanted,' Delevigne told ELLE UK. To celebrate the partnership, the model has curated a special 30-piece Topshop edit, which will be available to shop on the newly relaunched website set to land on August 16. Among Delevingne's picks are a black-and-white faux shearling coat, a stand-out '80s-inspired jacket, and updated takes on Topshop's cult Joni and Jamie jeans. 'A lot of them are really fun pieces that I do feel like that you could wear and change up,' she explained. 'You could style them how you want, whether you wear all Topshop or you mix it with something vintage — it feels very eclectic, but also modern.' The model is also working on a full capsule collection, set to launch for Autumn/Winter next year, the brand said. Delevingne has a long history with Topshop, first appearing in a video to promote one of the Kate Moss x Topshop collaborations in 2010. She went on to walk in a number of Topshop shows during London Fashion Week, before landing a solo campaign for the high street giant in 2014, aged 21. For Topshop, Delevingne was the obvious choice for the face of the brand. 'Cara is the perfect embodiment of the Topshop spirit—bold, creative, and unapologetically herself,' Managing Director Michelle Wilson said in a statement. 'This partnership is more than a campaign; it's a statement of intent as we reintroduce Topshop to the world.' Last week, Topshop confirmed it would be returning to the catwalk for the first time in seven years, staging a fashion show at a 'landmark' setting in London to reveal its AW25 collection. The show will be followed by a street party, complete with live music, DJ sets and surprise guests from the London creative community, with both events open to the public. The show will coincide with the relaunch of with Topshop and Topman looks available to purchase right after they've debuted on the catwalk, alongside Delevingne's special edit. Delevingne says there's 'something for everyone' in her edit, which is a mix of statement pieces and staples. But if she had to pick her hero buy? 'The updated Jamie jeans, those are my favourite,' she said. 'Skinny jeans are back!' ELLE Collective is a new community of fashion, beauty and culture lovers.
