Rose, Bruno Mars' APT Becomes Fastest Asian MV To Hit 1.8 Billion YouTube Views
Rose and Bruno Mars' song is also the fourth fastest in YouTube history to achieve this figure. BLACKPINK's Rose and Bruno Mars continue to make waves with their hit track APT The music video has now crossed 1.8 billion views on YouTube. With this, the song has set a new record and added yet another feather to its growing list of achievements. According to Soompi, the video hit the 1.8 billion mark on July 10 at around 11:39 AM KST. It was originally released on October 18, 2024. This means it took just over 264 days to reach the milestone. APT has now become the fastest music video by an Asian artist to hit 1.8 billion views. It is also the fourth fastest track in YouTube history to achieve this figure, following Luis Fonsi's Despacito, Ed Sheeran's Shape of You and Maroon 5's Girls Like You. In June, APT had also made headlines for its strong performance on the Billboard Hot 100. At the time, it climbed back to No. 22 in its 32nd consecutive week on the chart. This placed it in direct competition with BTS's Dynamite, which also spent 32 weeks on the chart. Before this, the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist was FIFTY FIFTY's Cupid with a 25-week run. APT is short for a Korean word that means 'apartment." Rose once revealed that the song was inspired by a popular Korean drinking game where players chant apateu while stacking their hands. The last one to place their hand takes a shot. The track features on Rosie, Rose's first solo album apart from BLACKPINK. While focusing on her solo projects, Rose has also reunited with Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo for BLACKPINK's latest world tour titled Deadline. The group launched the tour on July 5 at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea. This marks their first full-stage comeback in nearly two years since the end of the Born Pink world tour in September 2023. BLACKPINK is now set to perform in cities across the world. Their next stops include back-to-back shows in Los Angeles on July 12 and 13, followed by concerts in Chicago on July 18, Toronto on July 22 and 23, and New York City on July 26 and 27. In Europe, they will perform in Paris on August 2 and 3, Milan on August 6, Barcelona on August 9 and London on August 15 and 16. The tour will then head to Tokyo in January for three shows, followed by a final stop in Hong Kong on January 24 and 25. Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Newborn Won't Stop Crying, Then Dad Discovers One Thing That Works
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Becoming a parent is often a journey of learning on the go—getting to know your baby; figuring out what they like and dislike; and discovering what soothes them or winds them up. Every baby is unique, and, sometimes, their preferences are as surprising as they are specific. One dad recently shared his 1-month-old daughter's unusual quirk: she will settle down only when he sings the R&B hit "Nokia" by Drake. Jeraun Richards posted this hilarious routine on Instagram (@jrichofficial), where it quickly went viral, racking up more than 885,000 views and over 91,000 likes. In the video, Richards is seen cradling his crying daughter, Zyla, with his two brothers behind him. They try singing Baby Shark first—but it doesn't work. "She doesn't like any children's songs as of yet," Richards told Newsweek. Richards and his brothers trying to soothe Zyla while singing "Baby Shark" (left); and the dad shows the camera his calm daughter. Richards and his brothers trying to soothe Zyla while singing "Baby Shark" (left); and the dad shows the camera his calm daughter. Instagram/@jrichofficial Richards added that "Nokia" has been her favorite since she was just 1 week old. Some people might say it's actually a good thing Zyla doesn't like "Baby Shark," the famously polarizing children's song by South Korean company Pinkfong, which is adored by kids but dreaded by many adults. BonusInsider says that "Baby Shark" is the first YouTube video to surpass 10 billion views—a record it still holds. Created in 2016, it went viral in 2017 and eventually overtook "Despacito" after four years to become the platform's most-viewed video. It is estimated that "Baby Shark" has earned around $22 million purely from YouTube views and ad clicks. Motivated by its success, BonusInsider analyzed the top 10 most-watched YouTube videos (as of November 20, 2022) to see how much revenue they have generated and to understand better what types of content attract the most views. One commenter posted: "Momma was definitely listening to good music the whole pregnancy!!" Richards told Newsweek: "Well, I played this song in the car a lot while she was pregnant so that is true." Indeed, research suggests that playing music for babies before they are born can have lasting effects on their developing brains. One study found that prenatal music exposure boosted babies' brain responses to that same music months after birth. Another study showed that, when babies heard certain speech sounds in the womb, their brains were better prepared to recognize them later on. So far, the clip captioned, "I think my baby just wants to be at a concert every day," has almost 2,000 comments. As one viewer put it: "I mean she did stop crying so I guess he's right." "She was just bored and needed to be entertained!" another commenter wrote.

‘Desi Aunty's Spicy Wisdom': What Is Instagram AI Chatbot Everyone Is Talking About?
Last Updated: Instagram folks are just discovering unique AI chatbots on the app and they are absolutely stunned. AI this, AI that. We are in 2025, and AI can do a lot. Will it steal human jobs? Who is to know? 'Grok, verify this", users ask on 'X' when they read news that seems too bizarre to be true. Google's very own AI wakes up every time you look up a query. ChatGPT and OpenAI are here to help you with assignments and college presentations. 'Alexa, play Despacito," an entire generation has memed. However, as AI helps us automate tasks and solve complex math and science problems with just a click of a button, there is still much to be explored. One such application of AI left the desis on 'X' in a tizzy recently when a screenshot of personalised AI chatbots began doing the rounds. Is It Fake? At a glance, it appeared to be a work of an AI. What's real around us anyway? The 'Desi Aunty" chatbot is real, and so are the many fictional characters on Instagram. You can find Walter White, Madhu Aunty, Lie Detector, Jesse Pinkman, IQ Tester, Fortune Teller, Chicken, Horse, Satan, Astrology, Kundali Guruji, Gym Trainer. Instagram lists a bunch of popular AIs and their specific purposes. For instance, under 'Utility" you will discover an English Teacher, a Doctor, a Translator, and so on. Under 'Mystical", one can ask questions from an Astrologer, a Tarot Card Reader, a Love Finder, among many others. Notably, these are created by users of Instagram. The social media platform lets anyone create AI chatbots by providing a suitable description and the audience that it will cater to. Character AI The AI chatbot integration on Instagram is not an unknown territory. Character(dot)AI is one of the most popular examples where users can create and customise AI chatbots and interact with them. These chatbots can possess a personality and tone according to the description fed its the creator. Additionally, the users can also chat with other AI chatbots in a chatroom. 'Character ai or is a platform for chatting with ai bots according to your interests/delusions. It has a site as well as an app. It's free but for better features, you can upgrade it to premium, though not necessary. You can chat with the bots or create em. Compared to other ai platforms for this stuff, is a good choice since you can manipulate it according to your will. The characters available can differ. They can be OCs, characters from fiction, anime, etc. Hope it clears your doubts, (sic) a Reddit user explained the platform in response to a query posted.

TMZ reported how Britney caused a scene when she started drinking while flying home on a private jet with her security from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Flight attendants were reportedly shocked when she pulled out a cigarette and lit it mid-flight. The AMA winner put out the cigarette when asked. However, cops still confronted her when she landed at Los Angeles International Airport, per the outlet. She was reportedly issued a warning and then allowed to go free. Sources told TMZ that Britney was "difficult" on the trip. On a private jet, the owner decides if smoking is allowed in the aircraft cabin. Customs and Border Protection didn't immediately respond to The U.S. Sun's request for comment. LAX police and the LAPD also haven't returned The U.S. Sun's request for comment. The commotion comes after reports that Spears was sober just last year. "She is sober and does not do drugs," a source close to the singer told the Daily Mail in November. "She has a glass of wine now and then, but she does not have a substance abuse problem and has people around her to make sure that she stays on the straight and narrow." It's unclear if Britney is still sober. Last week, she appeared to be enjoying her trip to Cabo when she posted a video of her dancing around and wearing lingerie. Her onboard cigarette lighting comes after she was seen carrying a grill lighter onto a jet on her birthday in December. Grill lighters are typically not allowed on aircraft due to the risk of having flammable materials in a small space, while disposable and Zippo lights are permitted. In 2020, Britney revealed that she accidentally burned down her home gym with two candles months earlier. "It was an accident… but yes… I burnt it down," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I walked past the door to the gym and flames BOOM !!!!!! "By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt."
