Beyoncé heads to Vegas for final shows: Extreme heat, bag policy, Allegiant Stadium tips

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is riding into final stretch of her "Cowboy Carter" tour and is set to deliver two high-powered shows to close out the era. The Grammy-winning singer is headed to Las Vegas for the last stop on her Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is poised to take the stage at Allegiant Stadium for two nights on July 25 and 26. The Vegas stop comes after Beyoncé delivered four dazzling concerts at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, debuting new stunts and bringing out husband Jay-Z for the first time on a U.S. stop of her tour. During the four-night stint, Bey teased that the ATL crowd was her "loudest" yet. Of course, Beyoncé first kicked off her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with a 39-song set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion and different music genres. Here's what to know as fans head to Allegiant Stadium to witness the final two shows. Logistics: How to get to Allegiant Stadium, when doors open Allegiant Stadium is located at 3333 Al Davis Way in Las Vegas. It is accessible by car, on foot or through public transportation. On the Vegas Strip, the RTC's Deuce bus runs 24/7 and stops every 15 minutes at 57 locations along Las Vegas Boulevard. Fans who prefer to use ride-share options should be picked up and dropped in Lot N — just north of the stadium. Walking to Allegiant Stadium from the Las Vegas Strip is convenient and safe using the Hacienda Bridge. The stadium doors open at 5 p.m. local time. However, fans with VIP packages should check their emails prior to arrival for specific instructions for early entry. The show is set to kick off at 7 p.m., though Beyoncé's actual start time has varied between 7 and 8 p.m. Fans should note the stadium is cashless. Parking information for Allegiant Stadium Parking lots will open at 4 p.m. local time. Fans are encouraged to purchase parking ahead of the show. According to the site, there is no in-and-out access and fans are advised to pay electronically or with a card at the gates. Concertgoers can buy a parking space using the SpotHero app. Official parking spaces were priced around $50. However, there were additional lots starting around $30. Parking rates are subject to change without notice. What's the weather in Vegas? From the United States to Europe, Beyoncé and her fans have braved severe weather conditions, an evacuation, cold temperatures, scorching heat and rainy weather for her concerts. Fans should take note of the weather in their respective cities before putting on their chic cowboy-core attire. In Vegas, fans can expect sweltering temperatures. It's important to stay hydrated before and during the nearly three-hour show. Forecasts expect temperatures to reach 102 degrees Fahrenheit on both July 25 and 26. Bag policy, prohibited items at Allegiant Stadium Fans must follow the NFL clear bag policy at Allegiant Stadium. Is Coaching 'Familiarity' Key To Unlocking Cowboys' Deuce Vaughn?

Is Coaching 'Familiarity' Key To Unlocking Cowboys' Deuce Vaughn? originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Dallas Cowboys running back Deuce Vaughn is entering perhaps his most significant NFL offseason of his career. Advertisement Having only played 17 games and totaled 134 rushing yards in two seasons, it's gut-check time for Deuce to prove he's worthy of staying on the roster. But maybe the football gods have smiled down on the running back when his former Kansas State coach, Conor Riley, was named offensive line coach this offseason. Is Riley's familiarity with Deuce and his game, which saw Vaughn rush for 3,604 yards and 36 touchdowns in three seasons in college, the key to him finally making a statement this offseason? 'For myself,'' Vaughn said, "I've been taking it day by day, but also understanding that his run scheme, the things that him and Coach [Klayton] Adams want to do as far as running the football this upcoming year, not necessarily new, nuances are just a little bit different. Advertisement "The terminology, being able to hear from somebody that you've heard it for now for three, four years, is really big. Just having that relationship that I can go and ask him questions about anything, just up front, and you know how big that is for a running back and a running game. "So it's really big that familiarity.' by Mike Fisher With Vaughn far down the pecking order in the running back room as Miles Sanders, Javonte Williams, and even rookie Jaydon Blue ahead of him in the depth chart, it could be tough sledding for Deuce. But maybe Riley's influence and familiarity with Vaughn can be the thread the Cowboys can pull to finally let Deuce loose in 2025. Advertisement Granted, he needs to get the carries to do it, and with two veterans in front of him, plus Blue, who is a speed merchant, that might be a tall order. However, with Riley, maybe Deuce now has a fighting chance of showing he is deserving of a place on Brian Schottenheimer's offense. Deuce Fans Demand He Gets 'A Real Shot' from Cowboys

I don't know what's going to happen to Deuce Vaughn in Dallas. But I do know this — you can't tell me the kid who led the entire country in all-purpose yards at Kansas State can't play in the NFL. ... Especially not when his only reps came under a coaching staff that's no longer in the building — largely because of their own inability to build a creative, functional run game. Advertisement And here's something else worth factoring in. During the Cowboys' post-draft press conference prior to Vaughn's second year, Mike McCarthy openly acknowledged that they overhauled the entire pass protection scheme for their running backs. And for someone like Deuce Vaughn — a rookie running back already undersized and fighting uphill in pass pro — that 'revamp' likely felt like a foreign language. Think about that. You're asking a rookie to learn a brand-new protection system, adjust to NFL speed, and compete for a role in a backfield that didn't yet know what it wanted to be. That's not just a challenge — that's a structural disadvantage. Advertisement The Cowboys weren't just installing a new playbook. They were overhauling everything. Which means Deuce Vaughn probably didn't get the development plan, the tailored packages, or the situational usage he deserved. And that's not a reflection of his ability. It's a reflection of timing and circumstance. Because as we've said before: It's not about who's in the backfield. It's about how you use them. And in 2023, Dallas didn't have that answer. We just wrote about this last week in the Playoff Dak article: the Cowboys' postseason failures have gone far beyond the quarterback position. The run game has consistently vanished. The scheme lacked nuance. The offense didn't marry the run to the pass. And for a player like Deuce— that environment gave him no chance. Deuce is still 5-6 and 176. That's not changing. But otherwise? Now, some things are different. Advertisement New coach Brian Schottenheimer and his staff aren't just emphasizing the run — they're emphasizing physicality and functionality. Running the ball with purpose, not just to check a box or meet a minimum requirement. And one of the new key voices in that room just so happens to be Connor Riley, Vaughn's former offensive line coach at Kansas State. If anyone knows how to unlock Deuce, it's him. Yes, the Cowboys added two veterans in free agency. Yes, they drafted two rookies. But let's not act like anyone outside of Jaydon Blue is untouchable. They're all playing for jobs this summer. And I say - speaking for fans of the players - that Deuce Vaughn belongs in that mix. I will argue that he can absolutely play in this league. He just needs a real shot — in a real offense — with real vision for how to use him. And maybe, for the first time since arriving in Dallas, it looks like he might actually get one.
