Diablo 4 Season 8 end date – when the game steps into a new content drop
The Diablo 4 Season 8 end date is fast approaching, meaning fans don't have long left to complete the content on offer before the ninth season begins in earnest Diablo 4 is set to receive more content in an upcoming update that remains shrouded in mystery, but regardless, many fans will be relieved to bid farewell to Season 8. In a broad sense, Diablo 4 Season 8 has been about endings, making its conclusion all the more fitting. Belial's Return introduced a revamped endgame, which was initially welcomed with open arms before launch – however, the season hasn't exactly been a hit with fans. Changes to the game's passes have left players feeling exploited for money, and complaints about dull missions and lacklustre efforts from developers have eroded Blizzard's goodwill among the most devoted Diablo fans. It's a challenging time, especially as other games are making their mark – players seeking co-op titles are trying out FBC: Firebreak's unique gameplay, and with the Nintendo Switch 2 launch library offering so much, it's surprising that many players haven't already abandoned ship. Things are looking a bit grim at the moment, but as Diablo continues to commit to its seasonal releases, there's still a lot of optimism that the game can rally for the upcoming ninth season. After all, the game made quite a splash at launch and demonstrated that Diablo can still hold its own in today's gaming world, despite a few early seasons struggling to validate the model's sustainability before getting back on track. New seasons are a gamble for Diablo fans, and it's clear that not everyone is convinced at this point. Perhaps the game should have taken a leaf out of Bethesda 's book and introduced a new fishing update like Fallout 76. However, more is coming as the end date for Diablo 4 Season 8 nears and a slew of secret, enigmatic changes are set to premiere in the game, hopefully giving it a fresh lease of life. But when exactly will we bid farewell to the current season? Here's what you need to know about the Diablo 4 Season 8 end date. READ MORE: PS Plus Essential July 2025 games reveal time, and when you can download the PS5 and PS4 titles Diablo 4 Season 8 end date The end date for Diablo 4 Season 8 is scheduled for Monday, June 30. This has been confirmed by an in-game day timer, which is counting down to this date. No specific time has been announced yet, but we're expected to find out by the end of the week. While there's still a lot to discover about the forthcoming ninth season, it's clear that the end date for Diablo 4 Season 8 is rapidly nearing. If you're a fan of the content it provided, then dive in while you have the chance – otherwise, prepare for fresh content.

Diablo 4 Season 8 Boss Powers guide – how to unlock all 24 powers and their effects explained
Season 8 of Diablo 4 is introducing a new seasonal mechanic called Boss Powers that lets players harness the powers of the game's bosses for themselves. Diablo 4 Season 8 is shaking things up with its new Reliquary battle pass system, a Berserk collab, and is scrapping Ladder Bosses for Lair Bosses, that sees bosses break out into three tiers: Initiate, Greater, and Exalted, which denotes how tough they are, and how good of a reward you get for beating them. By defeating World, Event, and Lair bosses, you can claim their powers and wield them for yourself to give the monstrous denizens of Sanctuary a taste of their own medicine. Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquaries explained – how the new Battle Pass works and price breakdown
Diablo 4 is throwing out the battle pass system it used from Season 1 through 7 for something more similar to Warzone's sector-based Battle Pass. There are a couple of major overhauls coming to Diablo 4 in Season 8: Belial's Return, with a significant battle pass rework being one of them. Diablo 4 Season 8 is debuting a new battle pass system called Reliquaries that aims to give players more freedom when it comes to unlocking items. Taking a lead out of Warzone 's sector-based battle pass, Reliquaries let players choose the order in which they unlock their rewards. As for the new battle pass system itself, it's split into Battle Pass Reliquaries and Event Reliquaries. Battle Pass Reliquaries offer up four separate Reliquaries with one free option, and three paid Premium Reliquary options. You don't need to spend any Platinum on the free route, and you can even earn yourself a couple hundred Platinum while completing it. The three paid Premium Reliquary options will cost you Platinum to get however. There's also a Premium Battle Pass Bundle which includes all three Premium Reliquaries if you don't want to acquire the content piecemeal across the three passes; and of course, this works out a bit cheaper than buying all three premium offerings individually. Battle Pass Reliquaries will be available for as long as the season they release with is running, and the bonus reward for each Reliquary in Season 8 is a piece of the Guise of the Deceiver armour set. If you complete all four Reliquaries, that nets you the whole set. Spend Favor Tokens to unlock Reliquary rewards, and complete them to unlock the bonus rewards. Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquaries price The Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquaries are split into Belial's Return, Weapons, Beasts, and Armour Reliquaries. Belial's return is the free, non-premium option, while the three premium options cost 200 / 500 / 800 Platinum respectively. Alternatively you can dish out 1,000 Platinum for the Premium Battle Pass Bundle. The smallest increment of Platinum you can buy is 500, moving to 1,000 and increasing from there on out. So here's what the price of each Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquary works out as, based on having to buy enough Platinum and starting from an empty have to buy 500 Platinum minimum, even for the 200 Platinum Weapons reliquary. You can also drop 2,800 Platinum on the Deluxe Battle Pass Bundle (as if there weren't enough options!) which includes the full Guise of the Deceiver armour set for each class, access to the Weapons, Beasts, and Armor Reliquaries and more, which we'll get into below. Belial's Return Reliquary: free Weapons Reliquary (200 Platinum): £4.39 / $4.99 / AU$7.45 Beasts Reliquary (500 Platinum): £4.39 / $4.99 / AU$7.45 Armour Reliquary (800 Platinum): £8.39 / $9.99 / AU$14.95 Premium Battle Pass Bundle (1,000 Platinum): £8.39 / $9.99 / AU$14.95 Deluxe Battle Pass Bundle (2,800 Platinum): £20.99 / $24.99 / AU$37.45 As you can see, thanks to the increments you have to buy them in, it's up to you as to whether you want to have some extra Platinum floating around (which you'll have to spend anyway) or whether you want to put it all towards the Reliquaries. If you're considering the premium bundle, take note that as soon as an individual Reliquary is purchased, the Premium Battle Pass Bundle will no longer be available, so don't buy anything until you know what you want. Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquaries breakdown We don't have a full breakdown of every item in the Diablo 4 Season 8 Reliquaries just yet, but here's a brief rundown as detailed on the blog: Belial's Return Reliquary A mixed bag containing a Town Portal cosmetic, Weapon Cosmetics, Horse cosmetics, and even Platinum. Gloves belonging to the Guise of the Deceiver armor transmog set are the Bonus Reward. Weapons Reliquary The name really says it all. Weapon cosmetics to support many class fantasies can be found here. Boots belonging to the Guise of the Deceiver armor set are the Bonus Reward. Beasts Reliquary Your animal companion deserves something nice for all the Gold they've fetched, and miles travelled across Sanctuary. Mounts, Mount cosmetics, and a Pet can be earned from this Reliquary. Legs belonging to the Guise of the Deceiver armor set are the Bonus Reward. Armor Reliquary In a world with snarling monstrosities, armor truly makes the wanderer. Cosmetic Armor Sets for each class, and a Town Portal cosmetic can be earned from this Reliquary. The Chest and Helm belonging to the Guise of the Deceiver armor set are the Bonus Reward. Premium Battle Pass Bundle Weapons, Beasts, and Armor Reliquaries. Deluxe Battle Pass Bundle Guise of the Deceiver armor set immediate unlock for each Class, Deceiver's Final Form Wings for each Class, Orinocta the Owl pet, Access to the Weapons, Beasts, and Armor Reliquaries. As for the Event Reliquaries the blog says that "certain milestone events and IP collaborations will have a Reliquary dedicated to them. These will generally be available for shorter periods of time, so you should check on this tab every now and then. Outside of their limited nature, Event Reliquaries will function like their Battle Pass counterparts." Diablo 4 Season 8 is giving us a Berserk collab which was teased in the Diablo 4 2025 roadmap, so we'll be keeping an eye out for news on a Berserk Event Reliquary.

Diablo 4 Season 8 start time and everything new that's coming with the seasonal update
The delayed Season 8 of Diablo 4 is finally upon us, as we say goodbye to the Season of Witchcraft next week. The new season of Diablo 4 starts next week, and brings a new IP collab with it alongside the usual fare of seasonal content we've come to expect. Diablo 4 Season 8 starts next week, with Belial's return setting players up for a revamped boss ladder system, a new Berserk collab, new Boss powers to collect for the seasonal mechanic, a new questline, and a new battle pass system among a host of other changes. Activision Blizzard 's selling point for the new battle pass system – officially called Reliquaries – is that you can claim the rewards in whatever order you like, similar to the overhauled Warzone and CoD battle passes that Activision pivoted to with the release of Warzone 2.0. Reactions to the impending system tweaks have been mixed, with the Diablo 4 2025 roadmap also being something of a swing and a miss, thanks to a lack of fresh content this year, and most of the major changes landing in 2026. But there's still lots to tuck into when Diablo 4 Season 8 starts, and here's a rundown of what Season 8 has to offer: A new questline New NPC: Sayeena a retired Vizjerei mage New NPC: Jarius, who claims to be a Cathedral of Light knight 24 Boss Powers New Apparition Incursion event Three-tier Lair Boss system replacing Ladder Bosses New Legendary and Unique items New Reliquariy Battle Pass Seasonal rewards including Iris the Cat pet It's mostly the usual fare we see with the dawn of a new season in terms of seasonal mechanics and rewards, with the Lair Bosses and new Reliquary system being the major tweaks. But when exactly does Diablo 4 Season 8 start? Here's what you need to know. Diablo 4 Season 8 start time Diablo 4 Season 8 starts at 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST on Tuesday, April 29 as confirmed by Blizzard in a blog post. This is in line with past season start times and is generally when the developer deploys major updates to the games. The new season was set to start mid-April initially, but Diablo general manager, Rod Fergusson, confirmed a two-week delay in a tweet back in February, that saw the end of Diablo 4 Season 7 pushed back from Tuesday, April 15 to Tuesday, April 29. The extra time was was attributed to Diablo 4 Season 8 taking "a couple of weeks longer to bake anticipated". As with most seasons so far, this one is expected to run for three months, taking us through to the end of July, which is when we'll see Season 9 and the promised keyboard and mouse support roll out for console.

IGGM.com Diablo 4 Season 8 Guide: How To Get Lilith's Wind Of Hate Boss Power?
Undoubtedly, the most attractive new content in Diablo 4 Season 8, which will be launched on April 29, should be the boss power, because like other seasonal powers before, the boss power is the most intuitive way to help you in the new season. In order to fully ensure that boss power can help you cope with most situations, Diablo 4 brings up to 24 boss powers for Season 8, and the most difficult to get and powerful ones are 5 legendary boss powers, which come from the 5 most powerful lair (endgame) bosses in the game: Andariel's Flaming Skull Belial's Eye Beams Duriel's Burrow Harbinger of Hatred's Volley Lilith's Wind of Hate In addition to the ultimate boss Belial of this season, the most eye – catching ones should be Lilith and Lilith's Wind of Hate, because she is one of the main villains of Diablo 4, and has brought you endless nightmares in the past few seasons, but it is precisely because of this that you will want to get her power more. Based on this, we will introduce you to how to get Lilith's Wind of Hate, a boss power belonging to Lilith. Before you get this power, it's important to understand its effects so you can determine when it's appropriate and switch powers before a fight begins. Each boss power in Season 8 consists of a main power and a modifier power, and you can equip one main power and three modifier powers in a single battle. The main power effect of Lilith's Wind of Hate allows you to attack enemies with a spike wave that lasts for 2 seconds while casting a skill, causing them up to 1,925% physical damage! And every time Wind of Hate hits an enemy, their damage increases by 60%, up to 300%. As for the modifier effect, when you use the main boss skill to hit an elite enemy other than the world boss, a Blister Clone that lasts for 15 seconds will be created at 10% of their maximum health. Killing the clone will reduce the health of the corresponding enemy by 10.25%. A single elite enemy can have up to 3 clones active at the same time. First of all, considering that Lilith is a very strong lair boss, you must accumulate enough Diablo 4 g old and good enough gear, as well as power from other bosses, by completing other tasks or defeating other bosses in advance, and use them as the basis for your fight with Lilith. Generally speaking, you must unlock the boss battle with Lilith after your character reaches level 60 and unlocks Torment difficulty level 4. Then go to the southwestern Fractured Peaks and find the entrance to Echo of Hatred next to Nevesk waypoint. At this time, you will receive a task called Echo of Hatred in your quest log. Visit it and enter the corresponding dungeon to start the battle. Before Season 8, in addition to the preparations we have mentioned, you also need to collect materials for summoning Lilith by killing other bosses to summon her. However, Season 8 has made changes to the endgame boss mechanism. Not only has it been renamed lair boss, but it has also cancelled the summoning material. Instead, you need to farm lair keys to open the hoard and take away the loot after winning. This fight is divided into two phases, and in both phases the boss will have a full health bar at the beginning of the fight. Here are the different ways to deal with each phase. When Phase 1 begins, Lilith will first create Blood Blisters, and Blood Orbs will further spawn around her. All you have to do is destroy the blood blisters and be careful not to be hit by the blood orbs. However, in order to ensure that you don't lose health in this phase as much as possible, it is best to exchange some healing potions with Diablo 4 items in advance, just in case. Towards the end of this phase, the boss will continue to summon Oppressors to assist her. Fortunately, the health of this enemy type is very low, so it shouldn't be a problem for you to destroy them. At the end of this phase, Lilith will also summon Triangle Wave. You need to stay in the outer circle of the arena before the boss lands to avoid the inner wave, and then immediately move into the boss circle to continue to avoid the outer wave. Once Lilith lands, you must deal as much damage to her as possible – in fact you should kill the boss as soon as possible in the first phase to avoid the damage debuffs she may continue to cause you. All you have to do in this phase is to always avoid the blood orbs and void orbs generated by the blood pools, and when the boss destroys the platform, you can avoid it while attacking her until her second health is reduced to 0 and all three platform parts are destroyed. After winning, if you get Lilith's lair keys beforehand, you can open more loot in addition to the regular D4 gold rewards, as well as the focus of this time: the boss power Lilith's Wind of Hate! The above is all we have introduced to you this time. If you think it is of reference value, please complete the relevant battles as soon as possible after Season 8 starts! I wish you success!
