Sony Is Giving Away Some Great Games For PS Plus Subscribers In July
PS Plus games for July 2025 Sony is celebrating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus with something of a twist: The entire PS Plus Essential lineup is quite good in July. There are no bad games in this list, and one is a pretty major title. The lineup was revealed Wednesday morning and the new games will be available for PS Plus subscribers on Tuesday, July 1st. Be sure to download the current month's titles before that date. Here's what's coming in July. This classic 3v3 fighting game franchise has been around a long time. King Of Fighters debuted back in 1994! Players can choose from 39 different characters in local or online matches. This one came out back in 2022 and has a 79/100 Metacritic score on PS5. Definitely a fun game to play with friends, whether you're a skilled fighting game champion or a button-masher. It's crazy to think that Diablo IV has been around for two years and change. The PS Plus release of the game coincides with the release of Season 9, which adds new questlines, items, gameplay mechanics and more to the ARPG. Sins of the Horadrim also adds new quests and rewards. If you haven't gotten into this one yet (it's been available on Xbox Game Pass but not free on PlayStation) July will be a good time to go slay demons and loot. Fighting games too stressful? Tired of slaying demons? If you feel like something a little more chill and a little less intense, check out Jusant, a brilliant puzzle-climber about climbing a tall tower in the middle of a post-apocalyptic wasteland. From Life Is Strange studio DON'T NOD, Jusant is a visually stunning, often quite challenging game that's filled with whimsy. Definitely give it a shot if you're looking for something a little different. All told, this is a very strong lineup with lots of variety. Both Diablo IV and KOF15 can be played with friends, and Jusant is a great single-player title that you can take at a much slower pace. If only PS Plus was this good every month! On top of this, Sony is offering some other 15th Anniversary perks. PS Plus Premium members can play the WWE 2K25 demo or take Monster Hunter Wilds for a spin in a demo that launches June 30th. A PS Plus sale is also happening June 27th-29th. A new Valorant PS Plus pack is available today, celebrating that game's new season.

Diablo IV headlines Sony PlayStation Plus July 2025 monthly games lineup
Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly game lineup for July 2025, featuring three major titles led by Blizzard's action RPG Diablo IV . The announcement coincides with PlayStation Plus celebrating its 15th anniversary on June 29, marking a significant milestone for the subscription service that launched in 2010. Available from July 1 to August 4, PS Plus members across all tiers can claim Diablo IV (PS5, PS4), The King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4), and Jusant (PS5 only). The timing is particularly notable for Diablo IV, which is receiving a major update that expands endgame dungeons and adds keyboard and mouse support for console players. Sony celebrates 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus To commemorate the 15th anniversary, Sony is launching multiple celebratory initiatives throughout the summer. PlayStation Plus Premium members can access game trials for WWE 2K25 starting today and Monster Hunter Wilds beginning June 30. Additionally, all players will enjoy free online multiplayer access this weekend (June 28-29) without requiring a PlayStation Plus membership. The anniversary festivities also include exclusive PlayStation Store discounts for members on June 27-29, featuring titles like Sniper Elite: Resistance, Sid Meier's Civilization VII, and Star Wars Outlaws. Premium members can unlock a 15% discount on up to 2,000 movies through Sony Pictures Core until August 12. Since PlayStation Plus launched 15 years ago, the service has offered more than 500 monthly games through its Monthly Games benefit, previously known as the Instant Game Collection. The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog, introduced three years ago, has seen strong engagement with recent top-played titles including Ghost of Tsushima, God of War Ragnarök, Grand Theft Auto V, and Hogwarts Legacy. Nick Maguire, VP of Global Services at Sony Interactive Entertainment , emphasized the company's commitment to "providing access to quality game experiences through PlayStation Plus, along with key benefits such as exclusive PlayStation Store discounts, online multiplayer access, Cloud Game Streaming and more." While Sony hasn't disclosed subscriber numbers, the Premium tier reportedly grew 18% over the past year. AI Masterclass for Students. Upskill Young Ones Today!– Join Now

PS Plus Monthly games for July include Diablo 4 and Jusant
Sony has revealed the PS Plus Monthly games for July as the subscription service is about to reach its 15th anniversary. Between July 1 and August 4, members on all tiers will be able to add Diablo IV (PS5 and PS4), The King of Fighters XV (PS5 and PS4) and Jusant (PS5 only) to their collection. The monthly games for June — NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Destiny 2: The Final Shape — are available to claim until July 1. Diablo IV is the clear headliner this time around. The 2023 action RPG from Blizzard is just about to get a big update too , including the expansion of endgame dungeons and the addition of keyboard and mouse support on consoles. Don't Nod's Jusant is a really lovely, narrative-based climbing game, a fairly relaxing way to spend a few hours . SNK's The King of Fighters XV, meanwhile, retains the series' 3 vs. 3 tag fighting format and it includes rollback netcode to minimize lag while playing online. Meanwhile, June 29 marks the 15th anniversary of PS Plus. Sony is marking the occasion by offering free multiplayer to non subscribers this weekend, adding a couple of game trials ( WWE 2K25 and Monster Hunter Wilds ) for Premium members and offering discounts on games and Sony Pictures Core movies. The company says that, throughout the lifespan of PS Plus, it has made more than 500 monthly games available for subscribers to keep in their collection as long as they maintain their membership. Sony still isn't sharing PS Plus subscriber numbers, though it told Game File that the Premium tier has grown by 18 percent over the last year. Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Hideaki Nishino recently said that PS Plus price increases are "partly a result of increasing value we bring to the players" and that they hadn't slowed down subscriptions. The company still has no plans to offer its own games on the service on their release date, unlike Xbox does with Game Pass, though it will continue to add some third-party games to PS Plus on day one.
