Chad Michael Murray's Family Vote For Third Child
Chad Michael Murray has revealed that he and his wife, Sarah Roemer, held a 'family vote' before having their third child — and did not start trying for another baby until their two children were 100% on board. If you need reminding, 43-year-old Chad was a bit of a '00s heartthrob, shooting to fame on shows like Gilmore Girls and One Tree Hill, as well as movies like A Cinderella Story and Freaky Friday. Before marrying Disturbia actor Sarah in 2015, Chad was briefly married to his One Tree Hill co-star Sophia Bush between 2005 and 2006. Chad and Sarah live an incredibly private life, and keep their children's names private. However, they welcomed their first child, a son, in 2015, a daughter in 2017, and their second daughter in 2023 — and Chad reflected on his wholesome home life in a recent interview with Parade ahead of the release of his latest movie, Freakier Friday. Kicking off the conversation, Chad revealed just how much he embraces being a girl dad by telling the publication that he 'can't help' but wear pink all of the time to 'match' with his girls. He then opened up about his children's sweet relationship with one another. 'My son and daughter are best friends in the whole world,' he began. 'They're so unbelievable with the baby, like, I can't even tell you. They're so nurturing, caring... Their responsibilities are off the charts — they're so capable.' And this is when Chad detailed his and Sarah's arguably unconventional approach to expanding their family. He said: 'We took a family vote, actually. We weren't going to have a third child unless everyone was on board, including the kids.' 'Our son wasn't on board for pretty much the entire time until finally, one day, he goes: 'I'd like to have a baby in the family,'' Chad continued. "And we're like: 'Wow, look at that!' And he's the best with her. He's so good all the time with her, and they love each other so much.' As one of five children who was raised by his single dad, Rex Murray, Chad has always been incredibly family-oriented, and he credits his 'superhero' father, now 71, for being the perfect role model when it comes to raising kids. If you didn't know, Chad's mom left him, his younger sister, and three younger brothers when he was just 10 years old, and Chad previously said of his dad: 'He stepped up, and he said: 'You know what? I'll take care of what I need to do. I've got responsibilities in life.' He took care of all five of us and raised us well. He would be so tired, and he would help us study to make sure that we got the grades that we wanted. He was never hard on us.'The star now has a younger half-brother from his father's second marriage, as well as two step-siblings. 'I wouldn't have the life and the kids I have right now if it weren't for my dad,' Chad admitted in his recent interview with Parade. 'He gave us the opportunity to have a chance in life, to go get a job, to live out our dreams, and I'm so grateful for that. He's just got such a big selfless heart.' 'I want to be that for the kids,' Chad concluded. 'I want to always be that loving, nurturing parent.' What do you make of Chad's latest comments? Let me know down below!

Matrix Star Carrie-Anne Moss on Why She Avoided the Spotlight: ‘I Actually, Physically, Couldn't Do the Work'
Carrie-Anne Moss is letting fans in on one major part of her life: why she went under the wire for well over a decade; despite being at the top of her acting game. Instead of doing three to four projects a year, Moss took a self-imposed break to mainly focus on her kids. While she didn't totally say goodbye to the world of acting, it was a long enough break for her to focus on raising her three kids. This all happened after the 2007 film Disturbia. More from SheKnows Grace Warrior's Adorable Adventures With Bindi Irwin Highlight the Beauty of Mother-Daughter Bonds 'It all changed. I was one of those people who didn't even want anyone else to hold my baby. It was all encompassing. It was feeding me so much that it wasn't like I made any kind of mental decision,' the Vegas alum said in a recent interview with Business Insider. 'I actually, physically, couldn't do the work. And I didn't have a built-in support system, and I didn't want it. So when I worked after I had kids, it was, 'Can I get help?' So that was really hard.' She added, 'And it sounds so corny, but I would get offers and think about it, especially when my kids were really young, I just thought, at the end of my life, am I going to care that I did another movie or if I held my baby? It was a no-brainer. I have to say I lost a lot of my ambition for the business.' However, her two eldest are adults, and her youngest is at the tail-end of her teen years; and Moss is ready to act again all day, every day. And we can't wait to see the Memento star go full-fledged again. For those who don't know, Moss and actor Steven Roy got married in 1999. Since then, they've welcomed three children named Owen, born in 2003, Jaden, born in 2005, and Frances Beatrice, born in 2009. And this isn't the first time she's talked about choosing to focus on her family. Earlier this year, she spoke with The Independent, saying, how she was torn, but decided to focus on being a mom, and has no regrets about it. 'After The Matrix was such a big deal, I took a big, big break to have children and be with them. I remember being torn, having a little twinge like, 'Gosh, I'm getting offered such great things. That would be such a huge deal,'' she said, adding that when she decided to be with her kids more, 'It was just a no-brainer. And I'm so glad I did that. I'm so glad I don't have that regret.'Best of SheKnows These Are the 36 Celebrities with the Most Kids 15 Celebrity Parents Whose Kids Went to Ivy League Schools Tween & Teen Slang 2025: A Definitive Guide to 'What the Hellyante' Your Kid Is Saying Right Now

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Considering Having Baby No. 3 in Barbados: ‘Surrounded by Family'
Rihanna is over the moon to be expecting her baby No. 3 with A$AP Rocky, and a source exclusively tells In Touch that the Fenty founder is giving serious thought to delivering the child in her native of Barbados. 'Rihanna is happiest at home in Barbados surrounded by her family,' the source explains. 'She loves the idea of taking the kids over there and just parking herself for a few months before her due date so she can totally unwind and relish the last stage of her pregnancy.' Rihanna, 37, has only continued to embrace motherhood since announcing her first pregnancy in 2022, now expecting her third child with A$AP (real name: Rakim Mayers), 36, in just three years. She and the 'Sundress' rapper welcomed their first son, RZA, in May 2022, followed by their second, Riot, in August 2023. The insider says that 'having so much help with the kids and new baby right after' is a 'big draw' on why the 'Disturbia' songstress is pushing toward delivering her baby in her home country. 'She's got two high energy boys to take care of, sure she has nannies, she's not doing it all alone, but she's still got to be very hands on,' the source says. 'Having her family be able to step in and take that over while she focuses on her newborn would be fantastic.' However, the insider says that Rihanna had a 'great experience' with the last two deliveries of her children in Los Angeles and 'hasn't ruled that out.' 'If she ends up going that direction then she will likely take a long holiday to Barbados and fly back at the last possible moment to L.A,' says the insider. 'And, she'll make sure a bunch of her family comes to L.A. to help out after the baby is born. One way or the other she will be surrounded and supported by her family." Rihanna revealed she was pregnant with baby No. 3 on May 5, which also coincided with the Met Gala. Before making her baby bump debut on the red carpet in a structured menswear-inspired ensemble, the 'Unfaithful' songstress was spotted in gray casual wear, where her pregnant belly could be poking out. 'It feels amazing, you know,' A$AP told reporters of becoming a father for the third time ahead of Rihanna's arrival at the Met Gala red carpet. 'It's time that we show the people what we was cooking up. And I'm glad everybody's happy for us, 'cause we definitely happy, you know.' The 'Pon De Replay' singer had been hesitant to put a specific number on how many children she hoped to have. When asked about how many kids she wanted during an August 2024 interview with Interview magazine, Rihanna responded, 'As many as god wants me to have.' 'I don't know what god wants, but I would go for more than two,' the 'Battleship' actress told the outlet. 'I would try for my girl. But of course, if it's another boy, it's another boy.'
