' Omniscient Reader: The Prophet ' has been creating massive buzz online, and with only a day left before the film is officially released theatrically, fans have been dying to know more about the film from the star-studded cast. Lee Min Ho , who will be making his big screen debut after almost 9 years, recently delved into his role in the film and how everything feels for him to return with a fantasy-based role. Lee Min Ho delves into the challenges faced while filming for the project In an interview with The Korea Herald, Min Ho, who is also known for his roles in 'King: The Eternal Monarch' and 'Bounty Hunters', talked about the challenges he faced while filming for such a large-scale project. While talking about his character, who is meant to play a cold-hearted fighter, the actor revealed that "I'll be honest, it was lonely and desolate,' even pointing out that this worsened since most of it was filmed with CGI. He also talked about his connection in the film with BLACKPINK Jisoo 's character in the film, and also mentioned how most of it was a surprise to him. Due to the project's demand and high-scale production, a lot of aspects of the story came as a shock to him. 'I honestly had no idea how we were even connected', he added. About 'Omniscient Reader: The Prophet' Upcoming film 'Omniscient Reader: The Prophet' is based on a webtoon by the same name and follows the life of Dok Ja , whose life turns upside down as he ends up encountering characters from his favourite web novel in real life. The film blurs the lines between fantasy and reality and boasts a star-studded cast, which includes Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo-bin, Nana, Shin Seung-ho, and Choi Young-joon . Lee Min Ho will play the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk , the main lead of the web novel, who will cross paths with Dok Ja and fight with him in order to take the lead of the future that is about to befall the earth.

Recently, one of the lead actors of the film, Ahn Hyo Seop , who lent his voice in the movie 'Kpop Demon Hunters', opened up about his ordeals encountered during the shoot. Hyo Seop talks losing weight for 'Omniscient Reader' and other struggles During a press release which was held on July 17 in Jongno, Seoul, the actor, along with his co-stars, sat down and delved into all that went down behind the camera. As per Hankook Ilbo reports, the actor delved into what struggles he had to face during the filming of the movie, and how due to the 'physically demanding' stunts and action scenes, he ended up undergoing a major weight loss transformation . He shared, 'I was running non-stop, sometimes while carrying a child, sometimes suspended on wires, swinging swords at imaginary creatures. By the end, I had lost six or seven kilograms." The 'Business Proposal' star felt that the depiction of saving a dying world on screen was both "physically draining" and "mentally exhausting". Hyo Seop talks about why he joined the cast of 'Omniscient Reader' The actor also shared that he was intrigued by the concept of the film, and also wanted to know how everything that was detailed in the script would be filmed. Citing this as one of the reasons for joining the cast, the actor also shared that his character was something that helped him in making the choice. He shared, 'What I liked about Dok Ja was his ordinariness. My previous characters have either been larger-than-life or deeply flawed, but Dok Ja isn't extreme in either way'. With Omniscient Reader: The Prophet being less than a week away from its release, a press interview was held at a cafe in Jongno, Seoul on July 17. During the interview, main cast member Ahn Hyo Seop opened up about his role, discussing what sets it apart from his previous projects, as reported by K-media outlet Hankook Ilbo. He also shared the physical demands of the character's intense action scenes that led him to lose weight. Ahn Hyo Seop reveals why he chose to star in Omniscient Reader: The Prophet Ahn Hyo Seop plays the role of Kim Dok Ja in Omniscient Reader: The Prophet – the central character of the fantasy movie. Mentioning what drew him to the project, he said, 'When I read the script, I was excited and curious how it would be filmed." He also mentioned his role's difference from his earlier works. 'What I liked about Dok Ja was his ordinariness. My previous characters have either been larger-than-life or deeply flawed, but Dok Ja isn't extreme in either way," the actor stated. The character being an ordinary office worker was what "intrigued" Ahn Hyo Seop and he considered it challenging to portray Dok Ja with nuance. Despite navigating difficulties, Ahn Hyo Seop felt that the project was meant for him. "The film set suited me. Each scene is shot with care, and everyone gives their all toward the same goal.
