Shreya Ghoshal cancels her Surat concert amidst Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir
On Tuesday, 26 people were gunned down in a terror attack in South Kashmir's Pahalgam. It has been described as the deadliest attack in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019. read more Singer Shreya Ghoshal became the latest artist to cancel her concert following the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam. Ghoshal, who has been the voice behind songs like 'Dola Re Dola', 'Sunn Raha Hai' and 'Zoobi Doobi', was supposed to perform at Surat on Saturday as a part of her 'All Hearts Tour'. On Tuesday, 26 people were gunned down in a terror attack in South Kashmir's Pahalgam. It has been described as the deadliest attack in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019. STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD Also, amid the Pahalgam attacks in Kashmir, singer Adnan Sami has given a befitting reply to Fawad Chaudhry, former Information and Broadcasting Minister of Pakistan, who questioned his nationality. Terrorists struck Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 26 persons, most of them tourists, lost their lives earlier this week. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has said all Pakistani nationals currently in India must leave the country before their visas expire. There's a demand of sending Pakistani artists back to their country from India and when the minister named Adnan Sami, the singer wrote- 'Who's going to tell this illiterate idiot!! (Laughing face emoji).' Sami got his Indian citizenship back in 2015. And in 2017, the singer told Hindustan Times how he was trolled on social media. Sami revealed, ''I get sarcastic comments from them saying that 'if you have become an Indian, then change your religion, and become a swami or something like that'."
