11 Times Celebs Clashed While Filming Movies, TV Shows

1. By now, it's pretty well known that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni did NOT get along while playing love interests in the film It Ends with Us. Blake accused Justin of alleged sexual harassment and other misconduct, which sparked a contentious legal battle, though Justin's $400-million countersuit was ultimately dismissed. You can read more about that right here. 2. Olivia Wilde and Florence Pugh seemingly fell out while filming Don't Worry Darling (2022). Not only did Florence admit that she was unhappy with the movie's hypersexualized marketing, which was largely pushed by Olivia, but things got a whole lot messier after Olivia's infamous 'Miss Flo' phone call leaked. Then came the painfully awkward press tour, which saw Florence skipping a key conference and seemingly avoiding all interaction with Olivia. You can read more about the drama right here. 3. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's feud with Vin Diesel appeared to begin around 2016, while they were shooting the eighth instalment of the Fast & Furious franchise. After Dwayne hinted that he'd clashed with some of the men on set, it quickly became clear that he and Vin did not get on at all. The discord went on for almost a decade, though a few months ago, Vin hinted that he and Dwayne are on good terms now, giving him a sweet shoutout at the 2025 Golden Globes. You can read a full breakdown of their feud here. 4. Alex Pettyfer told the Hollywood Reporter that his Magic Mike costar Channing Tatum disliked him 'for many reasons,' including his standoffish behavior on set and the fact that he did not pay Channing's friend four months' worth of rent after renting their apartment. You can read his quotes here. 5. In 2021, Lucy Liu revealed that she confronted Bill Murray on the set of the 2000 film Charlie's Angels after he insulted her on set. "Some of the language was inexcusable and unacceptable, and I was not going to just sit there and take it," she said. "So, yes, I stood up for myself, and I don't regret it. Because no matter how low on the totem pole you may be or wherever you came from, there's no need to condescend or to put other people down." Lucy revealed that she's remained on good terms with Bill. You can read more about the confrontation right here. 6. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Janet Hubert (the original Aunt Viv) clashed on set with leading star Will Smith while shooting the third season of the sitcom, during which she was pregnant. She shared in 2020, 'There were a lot of things going on in my life and in Will's life as well. There was some friction because I was pregnant. Home life was not good at all. I was no longer laughing, smiling, joking because there were things going on that nobody knew about. The cast had no idea what was going on.' Will also admitted, 'During that time of her pregnancy, I wasn't sensitive. I wasn't perceptive.' You can read more about this — and them resolving their feud — right here. 7. Rebel Wilson once described working with Sacha Baron Cohen on the 2016 film The Brothers Grimsby as 'outrageous.' She purportedly claimed, 'Every single day he's like, 'Rebel, can you just go naked in this scene?' And I'm like, 'No!'' A decade later, Rebel and Sacha got into a dispute after the Pitch Perfect star claimed she was being 'threatened' by him and his PR team ahead of the release of her memoir, which featured a chapter describing him as an 'asshole.' Sacha's team later denied Rebel's allegations. You can read more here. 8. In 2020, Boy Meets World star Trina McGee called out some of her costars for their treatment of her on set. She tweeted, 'Called aunt Jemima on set during hair and make up. Called a bitter bitch when I quietly waited for my scene to finish rehearsing that was being f'ed up over and over due to episode featuring my character,' later revealing that Will Friedle was the one who called her the racist trope. Trina also said that she confronted one of her castmates for their behavior, though her discomfort was dismissed. You can read more about her experience, and the Boy Meets World cast's apologies, here. 9. To say that Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy clashed on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road would be a massive understatement. In 2022, Charlize admitted she was left so intimated by Tom that she requested additional protection on set, while the film's editor, J. Houston Yang, said: 'Boy fucking howdy, was it clear that those two people hated each other. They didn't want to touch each other, they didn't want to look at each other, they wouldn't face each other if the camera wasn't actively rolling.' You can find a full breakdown of their feud right here. 10. While shooting the 2006 film Annapolis, James Franco and Tyrese Gibson butted heads. In 2007, Tyrese claimed of James: 'I respect method actors, but he never snapped out of character. Whenever we'd have to get in the ring for boxing scenes, and even during practice, the dude was full-on hitting never lightened up.' James later denied hitting Tyrese on purpose, though he took 'full blame for any problems on that film.' He said, 'If he had a bad experience working with me, I was probably a jerk. I was not purposely cruel to him, but I was probably so wrapped up in my performance that I was not as friendly as I could have been.' You can read more here. 11. And finally, Isaiah Washington famously got into a physical altercation with Patrick Dempsey on the set of Grey's Anatomy in 2006. Isaiah was accused of using an anti-gay slur against one of their Grey's costars amid the fight, which he denied. Ultimately, he was fired from the show — and according to Grey's creator Shonda Rhimes, the cast is still 'traumatized' by the fight. You can read more about the fight here. Can you think of any other times that celebrities clashed with their costars? If so, let me know in the comments!

Olivia Wilde shows off trim figure in beaded string bikini during Italian getaway

Olivia Wilde had some fun under the Mediterranean sun while vacationing in southern Italy. On Saturday, the 41-year-old actress and director was spotted climbing out of the water after enjoying a dip in the Ionian Sea off the coast of Taormina, Sicily. The "House" alum put her svelte figure on full display as she rocked a tan bikini with red beaded strings. Wilde wore her damp hair down around her shoulders and accessorized with a pair of oversized brown sunglasses and a delicate gold necklace. The "Tron: Legacy" actress was later seen reading a book while sunbathing on a lounge chair by the beach. The day before, Wilde attended the 2025 Taormina Film Festival, where she received the Taormina Creativity Award. The "Don't Worry Darling" director wore a sage green gown that featured a soleil-pleated skirt and plunging neckline with a keyhole cutout. Wilde styled her hair into soft waves and completed her look with a gold chain necklace that had an emerald pendant. Earlier in the day, Wilde sported a light yellow silk and lace dress and gold velvet platform sandals along with a gold statement necklace while attending the festival photo call. On June 2, Taormina Artistic Director Tiziana Rocca announced the festival would be honoring Wilde's creative achievements. "We are honored to welcome Olivia Wilde to the 71st edition of the Taormina Film Festival," Rocca said in a statement to Deadline. "Olivia represents a shining example of female creative power, combining elegance, intelligence and determination. Her presence will greatly enrich this year's program and offer the audience a unique opportunity to engage with one of the key figures in contemporary cinema." The festival was held from June 10-14 in the hilltop town. Other stars honored with awards included Martin Scorsese, Michael Douglas, Helen Hunt, Catherine Deneuve and Monica Bellucci. According to Deadline, Wilde's next acting project is the upcoming thriller, "I Want Your Sex," which also stars pop singer Charlie XCX and Cooper Hoffman. She will direct the comedy "The Invite," in which she will also star alongside Seth Rogen, Edward Norton and Penélope Cruz. Wilde's other upcoming directing projects include the comic book adaptation "Avengelyne" and the Christmas comedy "Naughty."

Rásaí Beo TG4, 5.15pm & 7.15pm Seán Bán Breathnach presents live coverage from Cork Racecourse in Mallow. The action continues after the evening's news and weather. The Zoo RTÉ One, 8.30pm Zookeeper Julie meets some of the residents at Monkey World in England. Her colleague Brigitte, meanwhile, is in Wexford to help local seal rescuers prepare one of the animals in their care for its release back into the wild. Sally Bretton and Lee Mack return for the 14th series. Their alter egos, Lucy and Lee, are now empty-nesters who decide to move to the countryside. Don't Worry Darling RTÉ One, 9.35pm Director Olivia Wilde's 1950s-set thriller was much maligned on its release, but thanks to an intriguing premise, deserves another look. A suburban housewife grows increasingly concerned that her husband's company is hiding dark secrets. Florence Pugh and Harry Styles play the couple. The Butcher Boy RTÉ2, 9.45pm Dark comedy from Neil Jordan in which the behaviour of a boy from a dysfunctional family begins to spiral out of control. Eamonn Owens, Stephen Rea, Sinéad O'Connor and Milo O'Shea star. Call Her Alex Disney+, streaming now Back in October 2024, just less than a month before the election, Kamala Harris went on the Call Her Daddy podcast. Her appearance on such a highly popularised new medium was meant to nail her bid for the presidency. Instead, we have Trump and Stephen Miller in the White House and lingering whimpers of 'Why didn't Kamala go on Joe Rogan instead?' Such retrospection is, unfortunately, futile at this point. So, instead, let's find out more about Alex Cooper and what it took to become the most influential female podcaster of a generation. Directed by Ry Russo-Young (Nuclear Family), this two-part docuseries follows Cooper from a shy Pennsylvania kid to a progressive sex-and-dating podcaster, evolving over six years into the CEO of a media empire. More than a success story, it's a portrait of a person creating a space where women feel heard (and their respective others in their life can glean some often-necessary pointers). The Survivors Netflix, streaming now We're mostly used to two types of Australian viewing: soaps and super-dry (to the point of cringe) comedy. This is different. The drama follows Kieran Elliott's life after two people drown in his hometown of Evelyn Bay, Australia. To top it off, a young girl also went missing. Returning with his family 15 years later, the simmering guilt resurfaces, especially when the body of a young woman is found on the beach… K.O. Netflix, streaming now No one does visceral city grit like the French. Bastien has lived as a recluse since accidentally killing his opponent Enzo in an MMA fight three years ago. Now, Enzo's widow tracks him down as, essentially, he owes her one. Her request? Find her missing teenage son. Tyler Perry's Straw Netflix, streaming now Between this and last month's release of She the People, Mr Tyler Perry is getting himself around. This offering, however, is far more stark than May's fare. Here, one mum's day unfurls as it goes from tricky to catastrophic. Pushed to the precipice by a world that seems indifferent to her plight (until they can livestream it), she soon gets attention when she unwittingly holds up a bank. The Orkney Assassin Prime Video, streaming now The Orkney Isles lie 130 miles north of Aberdeen. It's a peaceful place with a strong sense of community. In June 1994, however, Bangladeshi waiter Shamsuddin Mahmood was working at the lone curry house when a masked man fatally shot him. This documentary revisits one of Scotland's most extraordinary murder cases, examining racism, loyalty, and the impact of trauma decades later. Ocean with David Attenborough Disney+, streaming now The man who will never retire explores stunning ocean habitats, highlighting the challenges for marine-life recovery. The Astroworld Tragedy Netflix, streaming now On November 5, 2021, Travis Scott stepped on stage to perform at Astroworld, which ended in the deaths of 10 people. An exclusive look told from the perspective of the survivors, paramedics and staff who were at the centre of this tragedy. Cocaine Air Netflix, streaming now Indeed, it's wall-to-wall documentaries this week. On March 20, 2013, four French nationals were arrested on a private jet at Punta Cana airport. On board: 700kg of cocaine in 26 suitcases. All lack the profile of an international drug smuggler, and no one knows who owns the luggage.

Harry Styles' Fans Are Divided on the Former One Direction Singer's Rugged Look at LIDO Festival

All grown up! Harry Styles was once known — and to some, will always be considered — One Direction's resident heartthrob, but his latest look has fans doing a double take. On Tuesday, June 10, DeuxMoi shared photos of Styles, 31, at LIDO Festival in London. In one set, the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer rocked a blue sweatshirt under a blue jacket, and a dark hat alongside a group of friends as they walked the grounds in Victoria Park. In another set, taken at night, Styles was spotted in the crowd taking off his sweatshirt to reveal a gray shirt with a smiley face while sharing a glimpse of his multiple tattoos. Like most things that involve the former boy bander, fans couldn't help but share their opinions on Styles' rugged appearance — which included tousled hair and a mustache/ beard combo — and the comment section seemed divided. 'If I saw this man at a gas station, I wouldn't look twice,' one person wrote, while another commented: 'Blimey, he's aged about 20 years! Although I'm not complaining.' A third shared, 'Not a fan of his My Name Is Earl look.' Meanwhile, some fans admitted they found Styles more attractive now than ever before. 'I'm gonna be the outlier here and say he looks 1000 percent hotter with this rugged man look,' shared one Instagram user. 'I think he looks amazing,' another wrote. Many declared they were happy to see the Don't Worry Darling actor enjoying the festival — although there were a few who expressed their hope that Styles would be inspired to get back to making music himself. 'Prayer circle today at 3 p.m. to pray that he remembers he's a singer and needs to drop an album,' one fan quipped. Styles' appearance also drew comparisons to Jason Sudeikis — who, ironically, was previously engaged to Styles' ex Olivia Wilde — Parks and Recreation character Ron Swanson (played by Nick Offerman) and Twilight's Charlie Swan (played by Billy Burke). Styles has been keeping a low-profile since wrapping his Love On Tour in July 2023. However, the outing at LIDO Festival marked Styles' second public appearance in recent weeks. On May 8, fans went wild after he was spotted in the crowd at Saint Peter's Square in Vatican City during the announcement that Pope Leo XIV would be taking over for Pope Francis. The Grammy winner has been quiet on social media as well. Last October, Styles shared a fitting tribute to his former bandmate Liam Payne, who tragically died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony — and has yet to post on his Instagram grid since.

WATCH: Florence Pugh stars in YUNGBLUD's new music video for 'Zombie'

Florence Pugh has starred in the music video for YUNGBLUD's latest single, 'Zombie.' 'The song was written initially about my grandmother going through serious injury and trauma, leading her to become a different person to who she was before, said YUNGBLUD, also known as Dominic Harrison. 'It's about the feeling of deterioration and ugliness; shutting out the world and the people we love out of the fear of becoming a burden or an embarrassment. 'We all want someone or something to comfort us, no matter how we are right now or who we become in the future, he added. But it's fucking scary.' The video sees Pugh acting as an overworked nurse, eventually sprouting angel wings. Known for her roles in Little Women, Don't Worry Darling, and Dune: Part Two, the Oscar-nominated actress also appeared in Rachel Chinouriri's music video for 'Never Need Me' last year. Harrison previewed Zombie for fans at a surprise gig in London back in March. It marks his third single ahead of his fourth album, Idols, out June 20. See the music video below:
