Florida State University has successfully landed one of the top players in the country. Navy All-American Devin Carter from Douglas County High School in Georgia has committed to the Seminoles. According to 247Sports, Carter is the No. 135 overall player in the country and a four-star prospect. Georgia senior earns $1 million in scholarships, accepted to 58 colleges

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Douglas County High School senior Mantavius Presley, known to many as 'Lebron,' has achieved what few students will accomplish. He has earned $1 million in scholarship offers from colleges and universities throughout the country. According to a Facebook post from the school district, Mantavius has been accepted to 58 institutions of higher learning so far, including Morehouse College, Howard University, Mercer University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and The University of Alabama. His resume extends far beyond the classroom. He currently serves as President of both the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the National Honor Society. His leadership roles also include Vice President of the Student Government Association and Vice President of the Class of 2025. Additionally, he manages both the JV and Varsity Cheer teams, contributes to the yearbook staff, and participates in seven other school organizations. Mantavius also excels in his commitment to his community. Throughout his high school career, he has accumulated over 1,100 hours of community service. As graduation approaches, Mantavius is carefully weighing his options for the future before making his final choice. Mantavius replied to the county's Facebook accolades with the following: This acknowledgment not only fills me with immense pride but also motivates me to continue striving for excellence.
