Twitter down: Users unable to access their accounts on web, mobile
Twitter is down again. The social media platform owned by Tesla CEO Elon Musk is facing a downtime for users in India. According to website performance tracking tool, the outage started at around 11:43pm with around 50 reports then. The number of impacted users have now increased to hundreds in the country. Of these, 74% faced trouble accessing X (formerly Twitter) one web, while 23% reported issues with the app. Another 3% reported problem related to server connection. There has been no update from the company yet about what caused the outage. Nevertheless, users took to other social media platform to share their experince. Reddit investigate as 'heart of the internet' goes down
Social media giants Reddit have said it was looking into 'elevated error rates', after showed more than 150,000 users globally. In the US alone, there were more than 133,948 people reporting issues with the platform, according to Downdetector, a website which tracks outages. At it's peak around 5pm in the UK nearly 17,000 Brits reported issues on the aggregator. Reddit had also experienced an outage last month which affected nearly 31,000 users. The San Francisco-based company has consistently ranked in the top 10 for most used websites in the world. Last year, Reddit reported having 73million daily users and more than 100,000 active communities. On the US Election Day last year, Reddit was looking into 'degraded performance' and resolved the issues after hours. Reddit went public in March, and in October reported it was profitable for the first time since becoming a publicly traded company. Reddit down for thousands of US users, Downdetector shows
(Reuters) -Social media platform Reddit was down for thousands of users in the U.S. on Wednesday, according to outage tracking website There were more than 32,691 incidents of people reporting issues with the platform as of 11:39 am ET, according to Downdetector, which tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources. Thousands report issues with Microsoft Outlook email in apparent outage
Thousands of users reported issues accessing their Outlook email accounts as Microsoft appeared to suffer an outage Thursday morning. More than 2,100 customers reported trouble with their Outlook accounts by approximately 9:30 a.m. ET, according to Another 250 reported issues across Microsoft 365, which includes office programs like Skype and Sharepoint. Meta's Instagram back up for users in US, Downdetector shows
An Instagram outage that affected thousands of users in the United States on Wednesday had eased, according to outage tracking website As of 12:10 p.m. ET, there were 849 incidents compared with 16,747 reports earlier, according to the website, which tracks outages by collating status reports from multiple sources. Instagram parent Meta Platforms did not respond to a Reuters request for comment on the outage.
