Olivia Rodrigo stuns with Robert Smith cameo at Glastonbury 2025
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, Olivia Rodrigo performed the closing headline set on Glastonbury Festival's Pyramid Stage, delivering a setlist that included several of her major hits and a surprise collaboration. Rodrigo opened her set with Vampire and went on to perform songs such as Driver's License, Brutal, and Good 4 U. The performance featured visual effects and pyrotechnics, with staging that aligned with the theatrical tone of her music. A notable moment came when Robert Smith, lead singer of The Cure, joined her on stage. Together, they performed Just Like Heaven and Friday I'm in Love. The collaboration marked one of the festival's few cross-generational duets and was met with widespread attention both at the venue and online. Earlier in the day, Rodrigo was seen in the audience at another stage, appearing alongside her partner, actor Louis Partridge, which also received media coverage. Other performances on the final day of the festival included Rod Stewart in the traditional Legends Slot. His set featured guest appearances by Ronnie Wood, Lulu, and Mick Hucknall, and included hits such as Maggie May and Stay With Me. Nile Rodgers & Chic followed with a disco-focused set to conclude the night's main programming. The 2025 edition of Glastonbury marked the last festival before its planned fallow year in 2026. Rodrigo's appearance marked her debut as a Glastonbury headliner. Her set was part of a lineup that featured a mix of established artists and emerging acts across multiple stages throughout the weekend.

Sabrina Carpenter Puts Feud Rumors to Rest at Olivia Rodrigo Concert
THE RUNDOWN On Friday, Sabrina Carpenter was seen supporting Olivia Rodrigo at her BST Hyde Park concert in London. Rodrigo was headlining the event and Carpenter could be seen enjoying the music from the VIP section. Both pop stars formerly dated actor Joshua Bassett, leading to longstanding rumors of feuding or competition beginning around 2021, but it seems obvious that both Carpenter and Rodrigo have moved on. Carpenter can be seen in photos shared by the Daily Mail wearing a semi-sheer white baby doll dress and a pair of black-framed glasses. Over one shoulder she wore a red purse and was holding a glass of wine, smiling widely during the show. On stage, Rodrigo wore a black bodysuit with large torso cutouts covered in silver fringe with a pair of black boots. She was later joined on stage by Ed Sheeran. Bassett is rumored to be the subject of Rodrigo's 2021 hit song 'Driver's License,' after they dated while filming the popular show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in 2019. In 2020, Carpenter and Bassett were romantically linked, but they supposedly split in 2021. In her song, Rodrigo sings about 'that blonde girl' who 'made [her] doubt' the relationship. Rodrigo is now dating actor Louis Partridge, who she was first seen with in late 2023. Carpenter has since been linked to Shawn Mendes and Barry Keoghan, and is now supposedly single. In a 2024 interview with ELLE, Partridge dodged a question about whether Rodrigo's song 'So American' was about him, joking, 'Not my song, not my place. So I wouldn't know.' He did share, 'My girlfriend has been trying to get me into more pop recently—Chappell Roan has been on repeat.' He also said that he sees himself as a golden retriever boyfriend type. 'I think in past relationships my mind worked at a different speed to the women I've known,' he said. 'A bit slower. The way I would characterize it is like a Golden Retriever and a black cat. I can imagine being happy sitting and catching a Frisbee.'

Generate Key Takeaways Beginning on May 7, a standard driver's license will no longer get you past security at the airport for domestic flights, as the TSA and FAA will require a new REAL ID in order to fly domestically. However, there are a few alternatives. The new REAL ID has been in the works since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001 The ID meets stricter requirements and can be recognized by a gold star located in the upper right corner of the identification card. The REAL ID Act was passed by Congress in 2005 to 'set standards for the issuance of sources of identification, such as driver's licenses and identification cards.' While it took about two decades to be officially implemented, the deadline of May 7, 2025 is expected to be the final deadline. If you don't have a REAL ID and won't be able to get one before the May 7 deadline, there are a few other documents that passengers can use to get through the TSA checkpoint and onto their flights. Before this month's deadline, the TSA published a list of 15 REAL ID alternatives that passengers can use if they have not yet made the switch. State-issued Enhanced Driver's License. U.S. passport. U.S. passport card. U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) trusted traveler cards (Global Entry, NEXUS, SENTRI, FAST). U.S. Department of Defense ID, including IDs issued to dependents. Permanent resident card. Border crossing card. An acceptable photo ID issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation/Indian Tribe, including Enhanced Tribal Cards (ETCs). HSPD-12 PIV card. Foreign government-issued passport. Canadian provincial driver's license or Indian and Northern Affairs Canada card. Transportation worker identification credential. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Employment Authorization Card (I-766). U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential. Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC). TSA also accepts expired IDs up to a year after the expiration date on any of the above documents. Additionally, children under the age of 18 are not required to provide ID of any kind to travel domestically.
