Dundalk's newest festival Aurfest promises two days of music and comedy
Louth's newest boutique festival, Aurfest, which takes place in the sylvian setting of Belllurgan Park on the Cooley peninsula on the weekend of July 4 and 5, is organised by a group of friends who wanted to stage the kind of festival that they would want to attend themselves. The result is a festival of music, comedy, creative installations, a DJ Caravan, food and craft stalls and a relaxed vibe, that promises to showcase the best of local and national talent. Headline acts include Ispíní na hÉireann, Duke Special, Odhran Murphy, The Twisted Sisters, and local favourites Elephant, Jinx Lennon, Negro Impacto, Pork Pie, DJ Kirkface Killah, Eugene O'Hanlon, Arco Arena, and The Gakk, while the comedy stage boasts the likes of Emma Doran, John Colleary, and Shinanne Higgins, as well as Lisa Casey and John Downey.
