Hollywood actor Jeff Daniels has lamented Kamala Harris' election loss and asserted she would have governed like Abraham Lincoln. The 'Dumb and Dumber' star's comments came during an appearance on MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace's podcast 'The Best People'. 'I still think about Kamala, and how I think she would have been a good choice. I don't care what they say, because she would have done what Lincoln did,' Daniels said. Daniels then claimed if Harris became president, Republican Liz Cheney 'would have been Secretary of State'.

Fans of '90s hit comedy Dumb and Dumber are only now realising a clever detail from the movie, which is widely regarded among the funniest films of all time. Dumb and Dumber opened at number one at the box office and earned a whopping $247 million against a relatively small budget of €17 million. It is a standout film in the careers of Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, who played the protagonists of Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne respectively. While it's been 31 years since Dumb and Dumber first hit our screens, a clever detail in the movie has only recently surfaced on Reddit, leaving fans of the film in stitches as they remember their first experiences watching it, The Mirror reports. On Reddit's 'Movie Details' thread, one user highlighted a subtle joke that went over the heads of many viewers over the past three decades. A deleted scene from the movie had revealed the joke but it came as a surprise to most when it was pointed out. The Redditor pointed out: "In 'Dumb and Dumber,' Lloyd Christmas was in love with Mary Swanson. Had they gotten married and she'd taken his last name, she'd be named Mary Christmas. It's never mentioned in the movie." YardBarker further explained that this was not simply a coincidence, as evidenced by a deleted scene where Harry pieces together the connection, but ultimately, the filmmakers chose not to draw attention to the joke.
