Dunkin' Celebrates Summer With Iconic New Menu Addition, Declaring 'Summer Should Be Fun' originally appeared on Parade. As summer starts to show itself, one thing is abundantly clear: everyone has warm weather on the brain. And from the looks of it, America's go-to coffee chain does too. While we make plans for beach days, poolside hangs, park picnics, and backyard cookouts, Dunkin' is leaning into the season's shareable, on-the-go vibe. How? With an oversized Munchkin Bucket, of course. 😋😋SIGN UP to get delicious recipes, handy kitchen hacks & more in our daily Pop Kitchen newsletter🍳🍔 Leave it to @markie_devo to spot this summer's snackable star: a shiny plastic bucket you can grab on its own or filled to the brim with delicious, sugary Munchkins. Rumored to be available only at select locations and priced somewhere between $3 and $5 sans Munchkins, it's got all the charm of a seasonal collectible and more. 'The hunt for that shiny plastic treasure starts now,' @markie_devo wrote in a recent post. 'The new Dunkin' Summer Munchkins Bucket was spotted at a few locations already,' he added. 'You should start seeing them pop up between now and next week. This find comes to us from White Plains.'The new summer bucket comes decked out with a sprinkles-perforated orange lid, a magenta Dunkin' handle, and a matching magenta scoop. It looks just like a kid's beach pail—complete with a textured base, perfect for building sandcastles—and features a playful beach scene with a donut lounging on a towel in the sand. Think pure summer energy, but make it Dunkin'. 'Have them here in Southington CT,' one viewer shared. '$3 an empty bucket and $15.99 with 50 count munchkins.' Starbucks menu leak reveals an exciting new drink
Summer is finally here, a heat dome has enveloped a quarter of the nation, and air conditioning and cold drinks are more or less the only way to get through the day. It sounds dire and not so much fun when I put it that way, but its music to the ears of fast food restaurants that desperately want to get people in the door to buy things amid a trade war that's scaring consumers away from making purchases. Don't miss the move: Subscribe to TheStreet's free daily newsletter The quick service industry has prepared for summer accordingly as it does every year, launching appealing foods and frosty drinks meant to act as a reprieve from the heat. Dunkin is the most recent company to drop a new drink with its collaboration with musician Sabrina Carpenter, unveiling the Strawberry Daydream Refresher today in its locations. Related: Starbucks CEO admits the struggling chain made a major mistake Starbucks is in on it too with its boba-inspired Refreshers, hoping to attract the same customers that religiously show up to buy the original Asian drink at trendy tea shops. But Starbucks wants to cater to more than just boba devotees, of course, and the chain may have something new up its sleeve coming to join its summer lineup very soon. In a post on X, the former Twitter, shared on June 24, trusted food blogger Markie Devo posted about one Starbucks update we knew was coming - but there's another one thats a surprise. Starbucks has previously confirmed that it will bring back the fan-favorite Raspberry syrup in July for "a very limited time." However, Devo says that it's coming back with something else, which he found out from a Starbucks employee. "Speculation has it that Starbucks will drop a new Raspberry Cream Cold Brew alongside the returning syrup," he wrote. Related: Starbucks makes huge investment to solve a key problem "Key speculated dates! -July 24th Rewards Members Only! -July 29th Nationwide! If any info changes I'll update!" In the meanwhile, Starbucks is clearly planning more ways than one to keep its loyal customers coming back. "Under the Back to Starbucks strategy, the company is reimagining and modernizing its beverages and food to build a relevant, hype-worthy global menu that will resonate with customers," the company said in a press release.. While Starbucks is still one of the world's biggest casual service brands, the cult favorite coffee company has had its share of challenges as of late. The data told the story in its 2024 year-end earnings call, when the chain reported flat revenues and a decline in global comparable store sales. In short, less people were coming to order their usual coffee and breakfast items. Starbucks' public reputation has also taken a nosedive per corporate reputation management company Reptrak, with 71.5 points in 2021 to 57.7 points in 2025, per Forbes reporting. When CEO Brian Niccol took over in September 2024, he announced the "Back to Starbucks" plan, which included a focus on community, simpler workflows, boosting employee benefits, and shortening customer wait time. While big changes do take time, investors are growing antsy. The stock has been dropping since late February. However, Niccol remains confident. "Our financial results don't yet reflect our progress, but we have real momentum with our 'Back to Starbucks' plan," Niccol said in a statement. Dunkin' And Sabrina Carpenter Have Teamed Up Once Again To Release A Sweet New Drink For The Summer, And The Internet Is Obsessed
Looks like our pop queen, Sabrina Carpenter, and Dunkin' have dreamed up yet another collab for the summer. View this photo on Instagram Fans will probably remember the two teamed up last year to cook up Sabrina's Brown Sugar Shakin' Espresso, a nod to her 2024 hit "Espresso." This summer, they have their sights set on something a little more refreshing: Sabrina's Strawberry Daydream Refresher. The drink features a strawberry oatmilk blend topped with cold foam meant to emulate those nostalgic strawberries and cream vibes, and fans speculate that it's a reference to Sabrina's unreleased song "strawberry moon" from her fifth studio album "emails i can't send." Others suspect this is a teaser for her upcoming album, "Man's Best Friend," which releases on August 29. Only time will tell, I suppose. Because Dunkin' doesn't shy away from steamy marketing (I'll never forget you, Spidey D), their latest ad for the drink features Sabrina answering phones at the "Dunkin' Daydream Hotline" as a "Daydream Matchmaker" in a retro-style call center. Sabrina is seen answering a muffled caller's *ahem* request and prescribes her signature Dunkin' drink. The unidentified caller continues speaking, to which Sabrina answers, "I'm sorry, did you —" right as a voiceover cuts in with "Creamy cold foam and strawberry bliss." We see what you did there, Dunkin'. It definitely caught the eye of Dunkin' die-hards, who are stoked for a new Sab drink. But that's not all! Dunkin's summer menu also features a new line-up of "ice cream-inspired" Frozen Coffees in three flavors: Cookie Dough, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Butter Pecan. As well as, drum roll please, a Munchkin Bucket. Yes, a literal bucket of 50 Munchkins for you to snack on by the pool, at the beach, or on your couch directly in front of the AC — the possibilities are endless. Will you be grabbing Sabrina's Strawberry Daydream Refresher or any of Dunkin's summer menu items? If you do, please let us know your thoughts in the comments! The 'Espresso' singer also enjoyed a sip of it while portraying a matchmaker from the 'Dunkin' Daydream Hotline' in a new ad. The wrap is inspired by customer requests and made up of hash browns, eggs, cheese, and a new chipotle aioli with a choice of bacon or sausage. Besides its menu additions, Dunkin' revealed the dates of its upcoming rewards deals for the month of July. Some of these deals available only on select dates include a $3 Ham & Swiss Croissant Stuffer, with beverage purchase, extra points on donuts and munchkins buckets, and $2 Iced Strawberry Lemon Loaf, with beverage purchase Dunkin' is one of many chains that launched summer season deals early. Starbucks' Summer-Berry Starbucks Refreshers made their triumphant return to menus last month . Sonic Drive-In also began offering up half-price milkshakes every day after 5pm at participating milkshakes. The summer season specials only kept going from there, and chains have started rolling out deal after deal this month. Jimmy John's dropped four new sandwiches on Monday just weeks after the debut of its Lemon Sunshine Cookies.
