Thailand set to host renowned dance music festival Tomorrowland in 2026

World-renowned annual electronic dance music festival Tomorrowland is set to make its Asia debut in Thailand in 2026 in Chon Buri province. Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, who was suspended on Jul 1, posted on Facebook on Jun 25 that she had met with Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers. She wrote that Tomorrowland in Thailand "is closer to becoming reality" and that the project "is currently under study and preparation". She added that the country will not merely serve as host venue, but will be "the heartbeat of the festival" with the government ensuring that "Thai cultural elements and Thai people are woven into every aspect of the event" so locals will benefit the most from the festival. Taking place in Belgium every July, Tomorrowland is known for inviting hundreds of renowned international DJs who perform across more than 15 different stages with elaborate large-scale designs. The festival usually stretches over two weekends and sees over 400,000 attendees from all over the world. This year's edition of Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium, will take place across the weekends of Jul 18-20 as well as Jul 25-27, featuring DJs like Martin Garrix, Meduza, R3hab and more.

Justin Bieber and wife Hailey dance away their marital woes with united front at concert

Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber put on a strong united front while attending night three of DJ Martin Garrix's first headlining LA gig, which was held at the city's State Historic Park on Sunday. In fan footage, the 31-year-old pop star could be seen wrapping his arm around the 28-year-old Rhode founder, and they also danced along to the Dutch 29-year-old's (born Martijn Garritsen) EDM set while in the VIP section. In fact, Justin got so into the pulsing beats, at one point he stripped off his Adidas Real Madrid 'Fly Emirates' soccer jersey to reveal his tattooed torso. That same night, Hailey - whose mother Kennya is Brazilian - Instastoried a snap of their 10-month-old son Jack Blues Bieber clutching his 'first pão de queijo,' a Brazilian cheese ball recipe. The Biebers recently returned to their $25M Beverly Hills estate after enjoying a lakeside family vacation - most likely at his $5M waterfront estate situated on the scenic shores of Puslinch Lake near Cambridge, Ontario in his native Canada. The two-time Grammy winner and the Arizona-born beauty have been plagued with marital strife rumors, which he didn't help with his disrespectful public posts about Mother's Day and her first solo American Vogue cover. In fan footage, the 31-year-old pop star could be seen wrapping his arm around the 28-year-old Rhode founder, and they also danced along to the Dutch 29-year-old's (pictured) EDM set while in the VIP section The power dynamic has definitely changed between Justin and Hailey ever since she sold her skincare/cosmetics company for $1B to e.l.f Cosmetics, and she will remain with the company as chief creative officer and head of innovation. Last Tuesday, Us Weekly reported that 'things aren't great right now' due to Bieber's erratic behaviour causing 'a lot of stress' for Baldwin. 'Family issues have clouded her success,' a source told the mag. 'Justin's going through a difficult time, and Hailey is giving him room to get himself back on track. He's doing his best, but it's tough.' The married couple of six years originally met backstage at the TODAY Show in 2009, they began dating in 2015, and they rekindled their on/off romance in 2018 three months after his split with Selena Gomez. On Monday, Justin shared snaps of himself in the recording studio and boxing with his trainer. Bieber captioned his new Instagram slideshow '17' along with six sneezing emojis, which many fans believed might mean his athleisure clothing company SKYLRK will launch on July 17. The 'Standing on Business' star enlisted business partner Neima Khaila and 3D design consultant Finn Rush-Taylor to help him create the replacement to his prior label, Drew House. Justin has recently fired his manager Scooter Braun, 'swagger coach' Ryan Good, business manager Lou Taylor, bodyguards Keith Gibbs and Eric Johnson, as well as security guard Kenny Hamilton. The former YouTube sensation's most recent single - Moments - was featured on his former mentor Sean 'Diddy' Combs' fifth studio album The Love Album: Off the Grid in 2023. The 55-year-old disgraced music mogul is currently incarcerated at MDC Brooklyn's Special Housing Unit amid his federal criminal trial, but Justin insisted he was not one of his victims. The jury resumes deliberations on Tuesday morning.

A song and a dance: Keep the kids happy at age-appropriate concerts

With my thigh stretched at an ungodly angle in physical therapy the other week, my trainer told me about her quest to grab tickets for her daughter and herself to attend a 'baby rave' in NYC to the mellifluous tunes of EDM. 'That's a thing?' I thought. Five weeks into motherhood and I have learned that not only are kiddie concerts, in fact, a thing, but this blessed city and its environs have musical entertainment of all stripes in spades this summer. Here, a snapshot of just some of the best in the tristate. Mozart for munchkins 6 Enjoy free jazz and classical for kids at Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens this summer. Courtesy of Hudson Yards Take kiddos of all ages to Hudson Yards Public Square and Gardens for classical and jazz jams: Classic(al) Cartoons! (June 21), Sounds of Summer (July 19), Cool Jazz (Aug. 16), Groove & Move (Sept. 20). This comes courtesy of Hudson Yards' season of free outdoor programming at Backyard at Hudson Yards, presented by Wells Fargo. The interactive performances showcase everything from jazzy scatting to animated characters as musical melodies, often played by talent from esteemed orchestras and Broadway shows. 11th Avenue between 30th and 32nd streets. RSVP at Hudson Yards New York Peace out About 2½ hours from Manhattan, you'll find the idyllic Catskill town of Bethel, home of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (200 Hurd Road), also notable as the home of the iconic 1969 Woodstock music festival. This summer, families can soak up the sounds of the Rock and Roll Playhouse (June 21, July 19 and Aug. 9), geared toward kids ages 10 and under and performing the hits of The Beatles, David Bowie and other musical giants. 6 Kids could teach all of us about having a summer of love at Bethel's Rock and Roll Playhouse. Part of a nationwide tour, the shows are part of Bethel's Family Concert Series, with ticket prices on a 'pay what you can' model, starting at $5. Or, on July 6, check out popular children's music brand Kidz Bop's live show. Lawn and pavilion seats start at $42, or you can try to snag a '$30 Ticket to Summer' lawn seat, part of a Live Nation promotion. All in the family On July 12, swing by Lower Manhattan's Perelman Performing Arts Center (251 Fulton St.) for the first annual Family Day. Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the indoor and outdoor bonanza will delight and distract kids with music, workshops, dance battles, 'creation stations' and more. FYI: Head to PAC NYC through June 28 for its Free Music programming, which has a diverse roster of artists on the lobby stage. Yellow brick road You may already have heard of BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn!, established in 1979 and billing itself as the longest-running free outdoor performing arts festival in the city. But now you know you'll need to round up the crew come July 26 for an outdoor screening of 'The Wiz,' in honor of the late Quincy Jones. Taking place at the Lena Horne Bandshell (141 Prospect Park West, near 10th Street) at 7 p.m., make sure everyone dons their finest 'Wizard of Oz'-inspired frocks as you and your loved ones savor the beloved film soundtrack. 6 Children attending a kiddie concert at Hudson Yards. Courtesy of Hudson Yards Jammin' Nutmeg State folks, take note. Starting on June 18, the Sherman Green Gazebo (451 Post Road, Fairfield, Conn.) will host free family-friendly Peanut Butter Jam concerts from 10:15 to 11 a.m. on Wednesdays. Kids can dance, sing, smile (and hopefully not hissy fit) to their hearts' content accompanied by live music. The shows run through July 30 and include Steve Elci and Friends, Benny Mikula aka the Lone Gnome and other Raffi-channeling minstrels. Sweet deal Sugar, Sugar! Festival in Domino Park in Williamsburg (12 South Third St.) is a novel performing arts series that kicked off on June 4. Events run through the month until Saturday and are totally free to attend. While the lineup extends beyond music (theater, dance, comedy and puppetry will all be in the rotation), many are kid-friendly and incorporate musical elements. Casino royale 6 Swap chips for chops (the guitar type) at Mohegan Sun this summer. Courtesy of Mohegan Sun Are Mom and Dad in need of a little getaway? Always. Hop in a car (or an Amtrak) and head 130 miles northeast to Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., this summer (1 Mohegan Sun Blvd.). Sun Patio outdoor concerts are slated for select Saturdays through Sept. 6. While the acts aren't explicitly for young ones, you can bop around with your older kids to former '90s dreamboats Hanson and fan favorite the Roots. Tickets start at $15, and you can make your offspring feel extra special and mature with VIP upgrades like firepit seating and mocktails. Field of dreams 6 Westchester is home to all things pleasant come mid-July. Emerging Market: Festival Wellness Supplement Kits for Rave Recovery

The rave scene is becoming increasingly aware of the rigors of dancing to electronic dance music all night and potentially adding substances into the mix. As a result, festival wellness supplement kits have been emerging in the market to help partiers support their well-being in both mind and body. Ravers want to have a good time, not end up in the hospital. Yet, an intense night of dancing can be just as strenuous as running a road race or doing a triathlon, where ambulances are a routine part of the infrastructure. The danger mounts if alcohol or other substances are involved. Perhaps the most common problem is dehydration. Fail to drink enough water, and your body will let you know with headaches, confusion, muscle cramps, and many other painful symptoms. Keep in mind that when you drink alcohol, it encourages the body to lose water, accelerating this process. Another problem is called 'water intoxication,' which occurs when the body lacks sufficient vital compounds to compensate for all the water in its system. This condition shares many of the same signs as dehydration, including headaches, muscle aches, confusion, drowsiness, and others. It is a form ofoxidative stress, which is also associated with sensitivity to light and sound, as well as certain signs of aging, like memory loss, gray hair, and wrinkles. Experiencing hangovers afterwards is another common problem. Drinking while dancing? Beware! If you don't combine alcoholic beverages with plenty of H2O and proper nutrition, you could regret it the next morning. Dancers can also suffer the morning after due to dehydration, oxidative stress, and disruptions to sleep. Indeed, people can wake up with a splitting headache and sensitivity to light and sound even if they didn't over-imbibe. That's why partiers are beginning to understand that they need to plan for an event with many of the same considerations as an elite athlete. Members of the EDM community are beginning to recognize the importance of prioritizing hydration and nutrition more seriously. Just as a runner or triathlete prepares for race day by buying special sports drinks, powders, and gels, dancers can ensure they have the best time possible by investing in appropriate nutrition. The good news is that products formulated to boost energy levels, support the immune system, flush toxins from the body, promote a good night's sleep, and wake up refreshed are now widely available. To get the most out of festival days, eat a big meal the night before as well as plenty of food during the event itself. Also, be sure to drink and refill your water bottle regularly. Monitor your intake of alcohol and substances, making sure not to tax your physical and mental resources too much. To stave off oxidative stress, consider bringing an energy-boosting mix to the festival, such as Rave Doctor's HydroRX. Adding these crystals to your water bottle ensures you get four key electrolytes and three amino acids to keep you going strong. To support your body's recovery, your festival prep should also include taking a multivitamin that is specifically designed to meet your needs. Dietary supplements, such as Rave Doctor's best-selling all-in-one capsules, provide your body with the essential vitamins and minerals it needs to recover from physical exertion. For instance, the formula contains potassium, which encourages the body to retain water, thereby mitigating the diuretic effects of alcohol. It also contains L-Glutathione, which has been scientifically shown to assist in the metabolism of alcohol, and magnesium, which helps stabilize blood sugar and reduces inflammation. But that's not all. This innovative product deserves a spot in your wellness pack because it contains essential compounds that support immunity. For instance, it contains zinc, which helps the body heal, and Vitamin C, which enables the immune system to function at its best. Be wary of 5-HTP pills, however, since these can be dangerous when used with alcohol. Now you know everything you need to include in the ultimate festival pack: lots of good food to eat before and during the event, as well as even more water to drink. Next, a vehicle for electrolytes like HydroRX, which can keep you dancing longer than you would have thought possible. Finally, add a source of essential nourishment like Rave Doctor's capsules to accelerate your recovery. For the best results, consider opting for all-natural options and look for vegan, non-GMO products. If you care about wellness, festivals don't have to be a challenge. Today's groundbreaking products ensure you can enjoy yourself to the max without unduly stressing your body and mind. Be proactive and gather the elements of an all-natural festival wellness kit beforehand. With just a little preparation, you can have the time of your life and ensure a smooth recovery.
