FL Liza in Saudi Arabia to meet with OFWs
First Lady Louise ''Liza'' Araneta-Marcos is in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to meet with overseas Filipino workers.
This was announced by Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro on Friday's briefing. She said this was the reason why the First Lady will not be able to join President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr. in his trip to the United States.
She left Manila on Thursday, July 17, according to the Palace official.
First Lady Liza will visit shelters for distressed Filipina workers and children.
Castro also said the First Lady would launch the EGOV one-stop shop in Saudi Arabia.
The First Lady will be back in Manila on July 21. —VAL, GMA Integrated News
