Star of Emmy-winning TV series reveals she's now working in restaurant kitchen after axe from show
EUPHORIA'S Nika King has revealed she's now working in a restaurant kitchen after being axed from the show. Nika, 46, who played Rue's mum Leslie Bennett in the Emmy-winning drama, surprised fans by posting a video of herself scrubbing floors and cleaning. 5 The footage was shot at the Blue Tree Café - a vegan soul food restaurant she co-owns with her mom Sharon in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Sharing the clip on Instagram, the actress joked: 'When ppl ask me if I'm filming S3 of Euphoria?' before cutting to footage of her cleaning the kitchen. Fans couldn't believe their eyes and soon rushed to the comments section. One wrote: "You know the job market is terrible when main actors of a huge TV show are struggling,' while another added: 'Learning that actors have real jobs out of the filming roles is really humbling to me.' A third said: "As an actor who's been out of work for the past two years after the biggest show I've ever done, this felt really validating,' one fan commented. 'Thanks for sharing.' Someone else added: 'This is real life and I'm glad you showed it. People think every actor or actress is rich off one show, and I know some that work regular jobs after being on a Hulu show.' Back in February, Nika confirmed she wouldn't be returning for season three, saying: 'I see the DMs, I see the comments asking if I'm returning for a season three on Euphoria – and unfortunately, I am not.' 'My character is not coming back to the show, but I am forever grateful to HBO and Zendaya and Sam Levinson for giving me the opportunity to come on set and do my thing and do my dramatic thing – because a lot of people don't know I come from a comedy background – but I am so excited about what's next for me. 'Without Euphoria, I was not able to step into who I am as an actor, as a daughter, as a person who is always looking for healing in every project that I do – so I feel like this was necessary in my growth. 'And yeah, to the fans, I love y'all. I mean, I didn't know I even had fans! People were like, checking for me. I'm like, 'Oh, okay, cool' – but thank you so much. And you guys have an amazing day – peace and blessings.' Euphoria 'likely to end' with season 3 - but fans predict it 'won't ever end up getting made' after production delays Since her exit from the show, Nika has appeared in several films, including Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot and The Rebel Girls, both in 2024, as well as 65 alongside Adam Driver in 2023. She also hinted she's leaning on her faith through the transition, adding: 'All things work to those who love God and who are called by His purpose - and so I'm trusting Him to move me into the next season of my life.' Euphoria, which airs on HBO and HBO Max in the US and in the UK on Sky Atlantic and Now, is currently filming its third and final season. A release date is yet to be set. 5 5 5 5

Remember Cassie in a wedding dress? Sydney Sweeney finally reacts to that Euphoria Season 3 viral set photo
Euphoria fans, buckle up. Sydney Sweeney has officially entered the chat about that viral image from the Euphoria Season 3 set — you know, the one where Cassie appears to be walking straight into a chaotic wedding storyline? The internet went full FBI when the photo leaked, and now, Sweeney is playing coy but clearly loving the attention. That viral wedding dress pic? Yeah, she saw it During her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Echo Valley star was shown the infamous photo of herself in a wedding dress, looking like a blushing (or breakdown-prone) bride. Fallon wasted no time, asking if Cassie was getting hitched this season. Sweeney, clearly prepped for the interrogation, dodged like a pro: 'Um, I cannot confirm or deny.' Classic. Then she served up a zinger, joking that the photo 'could be AI,' prompting Fallon to laugh and shut it down with a firm, 'No, it cannot.' Cassie in Euphoria season 3? More unhinged than ever What Sweeney did spill is that Cassie is not calming down anytime soon. In fact, she is levelling up her chaos. Sweeney confessed that Cassie is 'even worse' this season, which, if you recall her emotional spiral in Season 2, should have everyone shaking. This is not just unhinged, this is unhinged with glitter eyeliner and possibly a veil. 🚨 'EUPHORIA' Season 3 LEAK: Sydney Sweeney in a wedding dress filming 'EUPHORIA' Season 3 with Alanna Ubach 👀#EUPHORIA #EuphoriaSeason3 She previously told Empire magazine that she loves how flawed Cassie is, describing her as someone who messes up constantly but always from a place of messy, tragic love. Working with showrunner Sam Levinson, Sweeney revealed she often calls him with ideas to make things even wilder, and he is all for it. 🚨 | Sydney Sweeney filming the third season of Euphoria in a wedding dress. Season 3 still MIA, but expectations are sky high With filming reportedly starting in January 2025, fans are crossing their glittered fingers for a 2026 release. That would mark four years since the last season aired, and yes, the anticipation is feral. Wedding or not, Cassie is back, and Sydney Sweeney is promising maximum drama. Let the chaos reign.

Euphoria season 3 set photos reveal Cassie wedding scene and hint at possible marriage to Nate
Newly surfaced set photos from the filming of Euphoria season 3 have revealed what appears to be a major storyline development: Cassie Howard's wedding. Images shared by fan account @euphoriacentral on X show actress Sydney Sweeney in a wedding dress walking down an aisle, with Alanna Ubach, who plays Cassie's mother Suze, waiting at the other end. 🚨 'EUPHORIA' Season 3 LEAK: Sydney Sweeney in a wedding dress filming 'EUPHORIA' Season 3 with Alanna Ubach 👀#EUPHORIA #EuphoriaSeason3 — EUPHORIA Season 3 NEWS (@euphoriacentral) April 16, 2025 The aisle features a 'C&N' emblem, hinting that Cassie may be marrying Nate Jacobs, played by Jacob Elordi. However, there's also speculation it could be a dream sequence—something Euphoria has used in earlier seasons. Chris McKay (Algee Smith), Cassie's ex-boyfriend, is unlikely to be involved as Smith is not expected to return for season 3. The HBO drama, created by Sam Levinson, has faced significant production delays due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes, the passing of cast member Angus Cloud, and scheduling conflicts among the high-profile cast. Filming for the long-awaited third season officially began in February 2025. The apparent wedding scene supports speculation that Euphoria season 3 will include a time jump, moving beyond high school and into the adult lives of its characters. Though the story shifts to adulthood with themes like independence and career paths, emotional baggage remains at the core. If Cassie is indeed marrying Nate, the storyline is likely to be divisive. Their relationship in season 2 was marked by secrecy and betrayal, particularly toward Maddie, Cassie's best friend and Nate's ex. Given their troubled past, the prospect of marriage could spark controversy among fans and signal more complex emotional arcs ahead.
