The initiative aims to enhance fleet efficiency and support carbon-free mobility across first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery segments. Under the agreement, the deployment will take place over the next three months, with vehicles integrated into Green Drive Mobility's tech-driven fleet system, which includes real-time tracking, smart route planning, and AI-based performance analytics. Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Pvt. Ltd. (SCV division of Montra Electric), and Hari Krishna, Founder & CEO of Green Drive Mobility, formalized the partnership, emphasizing their joint commitment to a cleaner logistics ecosystem. The Montra EVIATOR, known for its high load capacity, advanced software-defined vehicle (SDV) capabilities, and energy efficiency, is expected to align seamlessly with Green Drive's mission of enabling sustainable logistics for ESG-focused enterprises. Montra Electric partners Green Drive Mobility, to deploy 50 electric SCVs in 3 months
Murugappa Group 's clean mobility brand Montra Electric on Thursday said it will deploy 50 units of its electric small commercial vehicle ' EVIATOR ' with Green Drive Mobility over the next three months, as part of a collaboration agreement. Montra Electric is supporting Green Drive's expansion across multiple segments and diverse industry applications under the collaboration that aims to deliver zero-emission, carbon-free mobility solutions across first-mile, mid-mile, and last-mile delivery segments, it said in a statement. "Our partnership with Green Drive represents a pivotal stride in accelerating the adoption of clean mobility solutions across India's transforming logistics ecosystem," said Saju Nair, CEO TIVOLT Electric Pvt Ltd , small commercial vehicle (SCV) division of Montra Electric. The initial fleet of 50 vehicles will be deployed in phases, the company said. "The integration of Montra Electric's EVIATOR into our fleet is transformative," Green Drive Mobility Founder & CEO Hari Krishna said. Montra Electric ties up with Magenta Mobility for EV logistics supply
Montra Electric has entered into a partnership with Magenta Mobility , an EV logistics company, to deploy 100 Eviator E350L electric vehicles . The Memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Private Limited--Montra Electric's commercial vehicle arm--and Maxson Lewis, managing director and CEO of Magenta Mobility. As per the agreement, Montra Electric will supply 100 Eviator E350L electric vehicles to Magenta Mobility for deployment across various sectors--including FMCG, grocery, e-commerce, and telecom operation-- focusing on increased mileage, intercity operations, and enhanced driver comfort and safety. The collaboration is aimed at revolutionising green logistics in the country and seeks to provide businesses with innovative, sustainable, and efficient mobility solutions. What all does it comprise? Montra Electric will also provide tailored service and charging solutions to ensure maximum uptime and operational efficiency for Magenta Mobility's fleet. The partnership will focus on increasing daily mileage, supporting intercity operations, and enhancing driver comfort and safety. The goal is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in the 4-wheeler Small Commercial Vehicle (e-SCV) segment.
