Nick Foles is deservedly set to be inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame.

Never has a nickname been more appropriate. Once Nick Foles returned to the Philadelphia Eagles and led the team that drafted him to Super Bowl glory, it was official. Saint Nick... That says it all. It has a significant tone to it. The name is also mentioned in conjunction with one of our favorite holidays. As the other 'Saint Nick' is credited with riding on a sleigh led by reindeer, Foles is the only man walking who can say he was the first quarterback to start for Philadelphia and win football's biggest game. Advertisement That night in February, Super Bowl LII was a gift that keeps on giving to Eagles fans. Philadelphia has two Lombardi Trophies now, but you know what they say. You never forget your first. Foles was recently given another honor. He will be inducted into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. This is yet another feather in the cap for what has been a respectable football career. Congratulations to Nick Foles. The City of Brotherly Love and the Arizona Wildcats owe him a debt of thanks. Now comes the more selfish question. How do we get this guy a bust carved and set in Canton, Ohio? Based on sthe tory alone, we believe he deserves one. Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl 59 rings: Details on the glitzy diamond-studded design

After having to wait an extra month or so, the Philadelphia Eagles held a dazzling Super Bowl ring ceremony on Friday night in a star-studded affair. After hours of waiting, the Eagles revealed what Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts' ring looks like. The top of the ring has two Lombardi Trophies for the two Super Bowls the Eagles have won since 2017. One side of the ring has the 40-22 final score from February. The other side of Hurts' ring has his name and jersey number. The middle inscription has the final score of all four postseason matchups, starting with the Wild Card win over the Packers and ending in the Super Bowl win over Kansas City. Eagles training camp preview: Quarterback

With July 21 fast approaching, we're examining the quarterback position as we kick off the Eagles Wire training camp previews. The Eagles are the reigning Super Bowl champions, and as we approach the July 21 training camp report date, this roster will look dramatically different after suffering several free-agent losses. Philadelphia suffered massive losses as the first wave of free agency saw Josh Sweat (Cardinals), Milton Williams (Patriots), Kenneth Gainwell (Steelers), Mekhi Becton (Chargers), Isaiah Rodgers (Vikings), Fred Johnson (Jaguars), Parris Campbell (Cowboys), Darius Slay (CB) and Oren Burks (Bengals) all depart. Still, they rebounded to make several key signings, including A.J. Dillon (RB), Joshua Uche (LB), Adoree' Jackson (CB), Charley Hughlett (LS), Patrick Johnson (LB), Avery Williams (KR/PR), Kylen Granson (TE), Kendall Lamm (OL) and Azeez Ojulari (OLB). After watching those 12 players depart in free agency, Roseman added two dynamic SEC linebackers, an All-American pass rusher, three offensive linemen, and an accomplished quarterback from Philadelphia. With July 21 fast approaching, we're examining the quarterback position as we kick off the Eagles Wire training camp previews. What's changed After watching Tanner McKee shred the Giants, Philadelphia felt comfortable entering this season with the former Stanford star as the backup quarterback. The Eagles traded Kenny Pickett to Cleveland for former UCLA quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson. Then in April's draft, Philadelphia selected former Syracuse quarterback, Kyle McCord. QB Jalen Hurts Hurts, crowned Super Bowl LIX MVP, became just the second quarterback in Eagles history to deliver a Super Bowl to the City of Philadelphia, joining Nick Foles (Super Bowl LII MVP). According to Elias Sports, Hurts is only the seventh NFL quarterback to appear in multiple Super Bowls and win a championship in their first five seasons. The other quarterbacks who did so are Troy Aikman, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Ben Roethlisberger, Kurt Warner, and Russell Wilson. He'll enter 2025 with renewed confidence and weapons at every key position. QB Tanner McKee Tanner McKee is now the Eagles' backup quarterback after Philadelphia traded Kenny Pickett to the Browns. After seeing no significant regular-season action as a rookie, McKee was thrust into action during the Eagles' final two regular-season games and shone. McKee, a 2023 sixth-round pick out of Stanford, waited for this moment, and in Week 17, his first game action would be one for the record books and a potential film on the big screen. With Kenny Pickett nursing broken ribs, McKee became the first player in the NFL Draft era (since 1936) to have multiple touchdown passes in his NFL debut while attempting five or fewer passes. The former Stanford quarterback and sixth-round pick finished 3-4 passing for 54 yards (13.5 avg) and two touchdowns, with a 156.2 rating. Then, in the season finale, McKee was 27-41 passing for 269 yards, two touchdowns, and a 100.6 passer rating. QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson The former UCLA star and 2023 fifth-round pick appeared in 15 games (five starts) for the Browns over the past two seasons, completing 121 of his 230 pass attempts for 880 yards, one touchdown, and 10 interceptions. Additionally, Thompson-Robinson rushed for 187 yards on 35 attempts. The 25-year-old now gets a fresh start in Philadelphia, where the athletic dual-threat will join Jalen Hurts and Tanner McKee, serving as the team's No. 3 quarterback. QB Kyle McCord Things got even more interesting after Howie Roseman drafted Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord with pick No. 181 in the sixth round. The St. Joe's Prep star attended Ohio State before transferring and heading to Syracuse, and he clearly created separation between himself and Thompson-Robinson. The St. Joe's Prep star attended Ohio State before transferring and heading to Syracuse, where he demolished several of Donovan McNabb's school records. McCord rewrote Syracuse's single-season passing records en route to setting Atlantic Coast Conference records for passing yards (4,779) and completions (391), surpassing Deshaun Watson's 2016 numbers in two fewer games. McCord capped his lone season with Syracuse by helping the Orange win 10 games for the first time since 2018 by defeating Washington State in the Holiday Bowl.

Madden 26 trailer puts the Super Bowl champs front and center in bold Eagles focus

Everyone's favorite sports simulation is back, and Philadelphia Eagles star Saquon Barkley was chosen to grace the cover. Correction... Everyone's favorite sim is almost ready for its return. August 14 is the release date for Electronic Arts' Madden 26 game, and yes, you read that correctly. That reads 'favorite sim'. No disrespect is intended to the makers and fans of the NBA 2K franchise. They've done a heck of a job with their product. But this is Electronic Arts' Madden NFL franchise. Come on. There's no debate. Madden is the grandaddy of them all, sort of like the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. Madden 26's trailer dropped, and it's Eagles-heavy. This one ranks among the best they've ever done. Don't take anyone else's word for it. Feast your eyes, and take a look for yourselves. This article originally appeared on Eagles Wire: Philadelphia Eagles earn top billing in Madden 26 trailer
