'She's a wonderful human being': Arnold Schwarzenegger praises son Patrick's ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus
Arnold Schwarzenegger has fond memories of his son Patrick Schwarzenegger's ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus. The White Lotus actor dated the Easy Lover hitmaker, 32, between 2014 and 2015 before finding love with his fiancee Abby Champion and Arnie has revealed that the pop star was "loved" by all of the family. Quizzed on the best thing about Patrick dating Miley, the Terminator actor told Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: "The best was that she's a wonderful, wonderful girl and human being. Very, very talented. She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there and she was just such a wonderful houseguest and everything like that. "We all just loved her." Schwarzenegger insists that there were no downsides to Patrick, 31, dating such a high-profile star. The 77-year-old actor said: "She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with." Arnie continued: "I'm sorry it didn't work out. But Patrick, in the meantime, found another girl that he got engaged with and he's getting married to in September." Patrick played the role of Saxon Ratliff in the third season of the acclaimed TV series The White Lotus and Arnie revealed his shock at seeing his son strip nude for a scene in the HBO show. Speaking in a joint interview for Variety's Actors on Actors series, the True Lies star said: "I couldn't believe [it]. "I said to myself, 'I'm watching your show, and I'm watching your butt sticking out there.' And all of a sudden, I see the weenie. "What is going on here? This is crazy." However, the movie legend soon reminded himself that he had appeared in precious little clothing for some of his most memorable roles. Arnie said: "Then I said to myself, 'Well, Arnold, hello. You did the same thing in Conan and Terminator, so don't complain about it.' "But it was a shock to me that you were following my footsteps so closely." Patrick previously admitted that he was frustrated that some assumed that he had landed a part in The White Lotus because of his famous father. He told The Sunday Times newspaper: "I know there are people who'll say I only got this role because of who my dad is. "They're not seeing that I've had 10 years of acting classes, put on (high) school plays every week, worked on my characters for hours on end or the hundreds of rejected auditions I've been on."

As the pop star prepares for her upcoming album to drop, is capturing attention with a daring outfit that put her trim figure on full display. In a new Instagram video, shared on Tuesday, May 27, the "Flowers" songstress showcased a bold ensemble comprised of a turquoise, intricately-beaded bra top paired with matching chaps made of feathers. The pop star showed off her backside in the flirty number, wearing a pair of black cheeky boy shorts underneath the barely-there legwear. While no specific information was provided with the post, the caption gave clues as to what she may be wearing the outfit for. "Easy Lover out May 30th with Something Beautiful the album," it teased. The Hannah Montana star also appeared to be in a studio of some sort, alluding to the fact that the 'fit could be featured in a music video, or as a show garment for future live performances. Fans erupted in the comment section, flooding in to praise the "Wrecking Ball" singer for the risqué upload. "All cheeked up on Tuesday. 🤭❤️," one quipped, while another admitted, "I'm shaking mom 😩💛." "It should be illegal to look this good," a third declared, further exclaiming, "I'm sorry I CANNOT handle!!!!" More supporters dropped in to rave, "this is really EVERYTHING ❤️," "I'm SCREAMINN," and "this outfitttttttt slayyyy." Someone else hoped, "queen tell me you're going on tour," with an additional Instagram user agreeing with that sentiment by confirming, "i will buy a ticket in every state and country." Cyrus' latest project Something Beautiful drops on May 30, along with a musical film and visual album of the same name set to release on June 6, 2025. Miley Cyrus Earns Multiple Comeback Smashes As Her New Album Debuts
As Miley Cyrus's new album Something Beautiful debuts on charts around the world, one tune from the project has emerged as a standout success: "Easy Lover." The song has made its way onto a number of rankings, including several in the United Kingdom, where fans have shown their love for the singer by purchasing the focus cut in large numbers. Both Something Beautiful and "Easy Lover" debut simultaneously, and a handful of tracks by Cyrus break back onto various tallies in the region, becoming top performers and powerful sellers once again during this exciting frame for the superstar. Cyrus introduced Something Beautiful with its lead single "End of the World," which first arrived this spring. This week, the track returns to the Official Singles chart in the U.K., landing at No. 83. The composition also soars on two other tallies — thanks, it seems, to a dramatic increase in purchases. "End of the World" reappears inside the top 40 on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts. It jumps from No. 78 to No. 31 on the former and from No. 82 to No. 34 on the latter. At the moment, only two tracks from Something Beautiful are present on the U.K. charts. Meanwhile, what may be Cyrus's most famous tune becomes a bestseller once again. "Flowers" reenters both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, appearing in the lower reaches at Nos. 89 and 93, respectively. The track, which took over the planet in 2023 and introduced her album Endless Summer Vacation, has spent more than 100 weeks on each list. It regularly falls off of, and then returns to, these rankings, with its fate largely determined by the level of competition.

Movie review: 'Something Beautiful' showcases Miley Cyrus in command

File Photo by John Angelillo/UPI | License Photo LOS ANGELES, June 11 (UPI) -- Miley Cyrus: Something Beautiful, in U.S. and Canadian theaters Thursday and international theaters June 27, demonstrates Miley Cyrus' command of both her musical artistry and performance. The film is a 55-minute collection of videos for the songs on her latest album, Something Beautiful. Each song warrants a unique costume and setting, but most focus on Cyrus' solo performance. Many of the videos predominantly favor closeups of Cyrus' face and she commands the screen while singing. In wide shots, her body language between dance moves projects confidence and self-assuredness. Even a hair flip is an intentional, considered move. Contrast this with something like Jennifer Lopez's This Is Me... Now, also an ambitious musical piece, but one with an ensemble cast and elaborate visual effects. While that allowed Lopez to explore her relationship with love, Cyrus' simplicity is equally effective. "Golden Burning Sun" features Cyrus on a motorcycle against a red sky. She's having fun on a stationary bike, posing when she's not singing. In "Easy Lover," she changes in her dressing room and gets made up by disembodied hands, but it conveys the moment she has to herself between performances. The "Walk of Fame" video has already made news since Cyrus contracted bacteria from the Hollywood Blvd. location, where Arnold Schwarzenegger's star is. It was already powerful to see her strut down the street and dancing, but adds a sympathetic wince when she actually touches the ground. Cyrus shared writing and directing credit with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter. The trio succeeds in devising visuals that showcase Cyrus the performer and get out of her way. Cyrus is occasionally joined by a co-star or two, such as her boyfriend Maxx Morando and model Naomi Campbell. The focus remains on her interaction with them, and they are still mainly one-on-one interactions. The names of the songs will flash on screen a few times, but the film expects audiences are already familiar with the tracks. The album has been out since May 30. Cyrus has reinvented herself several times since being a child star. Her latest incarnation shows an artist less concerned with drastic changes and more comfortable just letting herself and the music move audiences. At that, she succeeds. Miley Cyrus Sings at ‘Something Beautiful' Premiere After Q&A Disruption
Miley Cyrus's Something Beautiful film premiered at New York's Tribeca Film Festival on June 6, and the Grammy winner shared another unexpected moment with fans. During a Q&A moderated by fashion journalist and New York Times best-selling author Derek Blasberg, Miley was interrupted by fans who were under the impression they were seated for a performance from the 'Easy Lover' hitmaker. One yelled, 'We thought this was a concert! We paid $800!' The discussion, which followed the world premiere of her 'one-of-a-kind pop opera,' continued to be disrupted by the crowd, who kept asking that Miley sing. One person specifically requested her fan favorite from the Hannah Montana: The Movie, 'The Climb.' At one point, she gave in and coyly responded, 'You have to start it.' Tickets to the film's world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival were originally described as 'an exclusive conversation with Miley Cyrus,' per the fest's website. Some fans in attendance took to social media to defend the interruptions, as several ticket retailers misleadingly listed resale tickets as a '2025 Endless Summer Vacation Tour.' 'This is the link I clicked on to buy. Says concert tour dates not movie dates,' one fan wrote with a screenshot of the retailer's ad. Others chimed in and criticized the audience's behavior, writing, 'She's better than me. I would've thrown my mic.' Another person praised Miley for how she handled the situation, adding, 'Not a Miley fan, but I respect that. Tiny gesture humanized her for me. Could have easily ignored the fan/hecklers, made it awkward for everyone on stage, but turned it into a singalong… probably did more for whatever movie this is than the entire interview that's going on.' All this to say: we truly don't deserve angels like Miley.
