Get Smart With This Early Prime Day Bundle Deal on Amazon Echo Frames and Spot Speaker for $130
Adding some smart tech to your home (or your ensemble) can be a great win in today's world, helping you stay connected and get tasks done easier. These devices don't come cheap, but with Amazon Prime Day just a week away -- set to kick off July 8 -- we've spotted some great deals you can cash in on right now, including offers on Amazon's own devices. Right now, you can score both the latest model of Amazon's Echo Frames smart glasses, as well as the newest Echo Spot smart speaker for just $130. That's a whopping 63% discount that saves you $220 off its $350 list price. Both of these handy gadgets have built-in Alexa -- but you have to be a Prime member to score this incredible deal. The 3rd-gen Echo Frames let you listen to music, audiobooks or even take calls wherever you are. You can also use these frames to control compatible devices from afar. Expect up to six hours of playback per charge, though you can get up to 14 hours of battery life with moderate usage. Note, however, that you will need to order prescription lenses for these frames, which are sold separately. Hey, did you know? CNET Deals texts are free, easy and save you money. You'll also get the Echo Spot, which has a clock and displays the weather and song titles right on its screen. This small smart speaker is ideal for a nightstand, shelf or even a corner of your desk. It's not the most powerful speaker out there, but it connects easily to other Echo speakers and is a great addition to your collection. Why this deal matters Smart tech comes at a steep price, but this early Prime Day deal knocks over $200 off this handy bundle that includes both smart glasses and a smart speaker. If you're in the Alexa ecosystem, this offer is an easy sell -- especially if you were already in the market for audio-ready glasses or a speaker for your desk or bedside table. With costs going up due to tariffs, this is likely the best chance you'll have to score this bundle at such a low price anytime soon.

Amazon Prime members can already save a record $35 on the 2024 Echo Spot with Alexa
Is the 2024-released Echo Spot the absolute best smart speaker one can buy in the US right now? Probably almost definitely not, but if you can't afford the gargantuan Echo Show 15 or Echo Show 21 or even the mid-range (and mid-sized) Echo Show 8, this might be the Alexa-enabled device to get ahead of next week's Amazon Prime Day 2025 festival. Of course, you could also consider the dirt-cheap Echo Pop or Echo Dot, but the Echo Spot is clearly the more versatile and functional product, with not just a 1.73-inch front-firing speaker on deck promising to deliver "big vibrant sound", but also a 2.83-inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels for showing stuff like the time of day, key weather information, and song titles at a glance. 2024 Release, Smart Alarm Clock with 1.73-Inch Front-Firing Speaker, 2.83-Inch Touchscreen with 320 x 240 Pixel Resolution and Half-Circle Tinted Cover Glass, 1GB RAM, 8GB Storage, Alexa Assistance, Three Color Options, Amazon Prime Membership Required Buy at Amazon This is basically the Echo Show 5's even smaller (and cheaper) brother, normally costing $79.99 and currently setting you back 35 bucks less than that in your choice of three colorways: black, glacier white, or ocean blue. If this discount happens to feel familiar, that might be because it's the exact same one that Amazon offered when the second-gen Echo Spot first saw daylight last year... and again around Black Friday 2024. But that was the last time we saw this bad boy sold at a whopping 44 percent markdown, which makes this early Prime Day 2025 promotion pretty special. Almost as special as the Fire Max 11 and Fire HD 10 Prime-exclusive deals I told you about earlier today. Yes, you need an Amazon Prime membership to claim this cool new Echo Spot offer as well, and yes, I do expect the $35 price cut to remain valid between July 8 and July 11. The chances of seeing the deal improved anytime soon, however, are virtually nonexistent, so you might as well pull the trigger today if you happen to be in the market for a nice little alarm clock for your bedroom with such smart functionality as setting timers, checking the weather and traffic information, and streaming music using only your voice. The 2024 Echo Spot, remember, is a totally different product from its 2017 predecessor, so you may or may not have to wait another seven years for a sequel. What I can say with almost complete certainty is that a third-gen model will not come out this year, which is yet another reason to consider a purchase at a killer $35 discount right now. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer

The Amazon Echo Spot drops to a record-low price for Prime Day
It's still one week until Prime Day 2025 officially kicks off, but the sales are already here. There's deals on some of our favorite products, like the TP-Link Deco AXE5400 WI-Fi mesh router system and the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max. Now, another Amazon device is on sale: the Echo Spot. Currently, you can get the Amazon Echo Spot for $45, down from $80. The 44 percent discount brings the smart alarm clock to a new all-time low. The deal is available on each of the color options, Black, Glacier White and Ocean Blue. Get it now for 44 percent off. $45 at Amazon Amazon launched the new Echo Spot in 2024, five years after it canned an initial iteration. It's not too different than its predecessor, though its front is split between a screen and a speaker. Amazon also got rid of its camera, which made some people uncomfortable for a bedside table device. Of course, it offers Alexa integration so you can use the voice assistant for everything from getting the time to playing music.

All The Best Early Prime Day Deals You Can Snag Right Now
Lee Neikirk/NYT Wirecutter Want a TV that isn't just another big black box? The Frame is a great option for people who prefer a living room that doesn't look like it's dedicated to television. Although it resembles a framed piece of art when not in use, it still delivers the same bright, excellent image quality as many of Samsung's upper-tier QLED TVs. Other things to know: A subscription is necessary to access the full range of art options, but not required for regular TV functionality. This is the 2024 model. It comes with a one-year Samsung parts and labor limited warranty, and free shipping for Amazon Prime members. Read more: The Frame Is a Delightful TV That Transforms Into Artwork Amazon Echo Spot smart speaker (2024) For those who like things streamlined, this smaller Echo model is great as a daily alarm clock. It won't crowd a nightstand, the touchscreen display auto-dims, the speaker was surprisingly robust, and you can shut off a morning alarm by simply tapping the speaker itself. $70 $45 from Amazon Other things to know: Lacks camera, video streaming, and the higher quality audio of more expensive models. Easy to read and responds well to voice commands when placed at arm's length. Beyond that distance, it becomes hard or impossible to read, and responses were noticeably less consistent. Other things to know: Backed by Osprey's excellent lifetime warranty. Capacity is a little less spacious than it seems.
