Pokémon Center Online tells all customers to change their passwords after fraudulent log-ins
Gotta change 'em all. The Pokémon Center Online should be a place of pure happiness. It's a massive selection of Pokémon merchandise, made available even to those who can't make the trip to one of Japan's physical Pokémon Center superstores. Just put the items you want in your cart, place your order, and wait for your package of Poké-joy to be delivered to your doorstep. Unfortunately, though, it's not all fun and smiles right now, because while fans have had their eyes on the Pokémon they want to catch, less wholesome types have been after something else, using unscrupulous means to acquire Pokémon Center Online users' log-in data. The online store announced on July 3 that it has confirmed a series of unauthorized log ins. In addition to performing emergency maintenance to address the problem, the Pokémon Center Online has taken the step of resetting the passwords of all user accounts. Because of that, users with existing accounts will have to go through the password reset process before they can log in again. The procedure can be initiated through the Pokémon Center Online website here and requires entering your birthdate and the email address associated with your account, after which you'll receive an email with further instructions on how to choose a new account password. The Pokémon Center Online strongly cautions against reusing the same password as before the reset, and also against using a password identical to ones used for other online services. The announcement makes no specific mention of fraudulent purchases that have been made, but keeping a close eye on charges for any credit card used for shopping though the site is probably a good idea, just to make sure no one has treated themselves to a life-size Eeveelution plushie on your dime/10-yen coin. Pokémon Eevee evolves into Japanese convenience store sweets with exclusive merch giveaway【Pics】
Pokémon fans can grab snacks and catch Eeveelutions at Family Mart. As a Gen-I Normal-type Pokémon, Eevee has been spotted in a wide variety of habitats within the franchise's games and anime. Right now, though, there's one more place where you can find Eevee, or more specifically the Pocket Monster's evolved Eeveelution forms, as they're currently camped out at Japanese convenience store chain Family Mart! As part of a collaboration with the Pokémon franchise, Family Mart has rolled out a line of Eevee-themed food and drink, on sale as of June 24, and is offering some exclusive giveaway merch to sweeten the deal. First up we have the Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon Colorful Chicken Salad Sandwich (430 yen [US$3]). Much like how the original Eevee evolution trio each represents a different element, this is a three-sectioned sandwich pack, with fiery Flareon's color featured as a tomato sauce accent, Electric Jolteon's yellow as a egg salad, and Vaporeon's portion having extra lettuce. The portion is big enough to be nicely filling, while the ingredient mix is refreshing and won't leave you feeling guiltily bloated, making this a meal with the same sort of broad appeal as these three Pokémon have. Next is the Leafeon Razor Leaf Roll Cake (178 yen). Don't let the name scare you. There are no sharp edges inside this soft rolled pastry, and the 'leaf' being used here is tea leaf, as inside the cake is a meandering layer of matcha milk cream with strong green tea notes nicely balanced with a comforting sweetness. ▼ The leafy pattern on the top of the cake is a nice touch. Dessert isn't over yet. We've also got Glaceon's Blizzard Ramune Warabimochi (168 yen). Warabimochi is a kind of extra-jiggly sweet mochi dumpling, here with the vivid icy blue color of Eevee's Ice-type evolution and some sprinkled rice flour to evoke thoughts of freshy fallen snow. Ramune, meanwhile, is originally a kind of carbonated Japanese soft drink with a light apple/citrus flavor to it (it's also the flavor called 'soda' in some Japanese sweets, not to be confused with 'cola'), Inside the Glaceon warabimochi is Ramune-flavor whipped cream, and to make it extra-special there's some coarse-grain sugar mixed in, to give it a touch of pseudo-icy texture as you chew. And to wash everything down, there's the Sylveon Charm Peach Gelatin Drink (268 yen). There are two different designs for the cup, with different illustrations, but it's hard to imagine anything more girlishly cute than the one we ended up with. As for the flavor, this is definitely truth in advertising, as the drink delivers an intense peach flavor and captivating texture thanks to the peach gelatin and bits of fruit. And as if they all weren't tempting enough already, while supplies last you can get an exclusive Eevee or Eeveelution acrylic keychain if you purchase two or more of the above items at the same time. The first batch's possible prizes consist of a Male Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, or Sylveon, and the second group, being given out starting July 1, is made up of a Female Eevee, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Glaceon. This will, of course, mean that we'll need to eat a lot of sweets in order to get a complete set, but hey, that's a sacrifice we're willing to make for Eevee. The Pokémon Center is selling life-sized Eevee and Eeveelution plushies
Gotta cuddle 'em all! The Pokémon Center recently announced it's selling Eevee and Eeveelution plushies. The best part? They're life-sized. As most Pokémon fans will already know, Eevee's unstable genetic code allows it to transform into eight different 'Eeveelutions', a portmanteau of the fluffy brown creature's name and 'evolution'. Currently, only Eevee and its Gen I variants – that's Water-type Vaporeon, Electric-type Jolteon and Fire-type Flareon – are available to order; the remaining five types will be announced at a later date. As for exact measurements, Vaporeon is 92cm long and weighs 4.4kg, while Jolteon is 96cm long and also weighs 4.4kg. Flareon is the largest, clocking in at 110cm long and a hefty 5.8kg. Little Eevee is modestly sized, but certainly no less cuddly, at 41cm long and a mere 396g.

Huge life-size Eevee Eeveelution Pokémon plushies will steal hearts, conquer living rooms【Photos】
Sure, Jolteon, you can have my sofa. I'll find somewhere else to sit. In terms of Pokémon evolutions, Eevee's are among the most, well, evolutionary-looking. Whereas some Pocket Monster species take on drastically different forms when they evolve, acquiring significantly humanoid or monstrous appearances, it's easy to trace the lineage of the many Eeveelutions, as each one is essentially Eevee with the addition of a few elemental design elements. For example, here's the new Eevee plushie that's just been announced by the Pokémon Center megastore chain in Japan… …and here's the new plushie for Vaporeon, Eevee's Water-type evolution. Sure, Vaporeon gets a more aquatic-oriented tale and fins, but overall it's not all that different from the regular Eevee. However, both of these plushies are life-size versions of the Pokémon, as per their official Pokédex entries, and so they remind us that there's also a very big difference between the standard Eevee and the Eeveelutions. When looking at the incremental appearance changes for the Eeveelutions it's easy to forget that they're exponentially larger than their base species. So while the life-size Eevee plushie is a sensible 41 centimeters (16.1 inches) in length, once it turns into Vaporeon it grows to 92 centimeters (36.2 inches) long! ▼ Fits on your lap! ▼ Can claim dominion over your sofa! Joining Vaporeon in life-size Eeveelution plushie form are Electric-type Jolteon, who's even longer at 96 centimeters, and Fire-type Flareon, the longest of the bunch at 110 centimeters. Of course, this family tree is broader than just Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon, and the Pokémon Center is promising life-size plushies of Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon too at some point down the Snorlax-unobstructed road. ▼ You'll essentially have to cede your living room to them in its entirety, but be honest, you'll be happy to do so. Note that you will want to give proper consideration to where you place the life-size Eeveelutions, since they're not just big, but heavy too. Vaporeon and Jolteon each weigh in at 4.4 kilograms (9,7 pounds), and heavyweight Flareon tips the scales at 5.8 kilos. The life-size Eevee plushie, meanwhile, is a svelte 396 grams. Eevee is also the most affordably priced, at 3,850 yen (US$26.50), while each of the Eeveelutions is 44,000 yen. ▼ Yes, this means that the life-sized Vaporeon and Jolteon cost one yen a gram. Eevee is available for immediate purchase through the Pokémon Center online shop here, which is also accepting Eeveelution preorders for Vaporeon, Jolteon, and Flareon (here, here, and here) for shipping starting in early November. Note that when placing your order for a life-size Eeveelution no other items can be placed in the cart, as though they require digital space in proportion to their physical dimensions. Pokémon Is About To Make So Much Money On Life-Sized Eeveelution Plushies
Due to some questionable picks, the Pokémon Company's life-size plush line has often been the subject of meme fodder. The helpful Lucario plush is here to steal your wife by doing the household chores you neglect. The Porygon is big enough to be a piece of furniture. And, well, what do you need a life-sized Gardevoir plush for? But sometimes, the choices make perfect sense. The next life-sized Pokémon plush won't be just one of these critters; it will be nine—all nine Eevee evolutions, to be exact. Eevee is one of the most popular Pokémon in the series. Part of what makes the little fox-like creature so beloved is that it can evolve into one of eight (for now) forms, based on different energies. Everyone has a different favorite 'Eeveelution' and there are a lot of fans who love the whole line so much that they'll buy all of their merchandise in a set. Well those sickos better be ready to pay a pretty penny for the life-sized Eevee evolution plushies. At the moment, the nine plushies have only been announced for sale on the Japanese Pokémon Center website, but these do tend to make their way overseas shortly after. According to PokéShopper, the Japanese sale for Eevee, Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon runs until May 19. The Eevee plush, which is much smaller than its evolutions, costs 3,850 yen (roughly $27), while the larger fully-evolved plushies are 44,000 yen (around $306). That means collecting the whole range would cost you almost $2,500. Click through the gallery to see them in all their life-sized glory. Update, 4/25/25, 10:42 a.m. Eastern: The plushies are now on sale on the U.S. Pokémon Center they're a whopping $400. Good luck to your wallets. These enormous plushies are part of The Pokémon Company's 'Year of Eevee,' which is celebrating the fox-like Pokémon and all its evolutions with new merchandise. While there is no official tease or announcement, fans are hopeful that a year dedicated to Eevee might culminate in a new Eeveelution at some point. Pokémon Legends: Z-A is bringing back Mega Evolutions and returning to Kalos, the fairy-type Sylveon's home region. So even if we don't get a new Eeveelution, part of me wonders if a Mega Evolution is in the cards. For the latest news, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
