Update on Naagin 7 release date According to Tellychakkar report, the first teaser of Naagin 7 will be released on July 29. This date is chosen as the auspicious festival of Nag Panchami falls on this day. The first teaser will give a glimpse of the upcoming season's storyline and might also reveal the identity of the lead actress. This day is extra special for the Television audience as Ektaa Kapoor's hit show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is also premiering on the same day. However, the makers have not yet confirmed this news. Speaking about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the new season will feature Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay in lead roles. Apart from this, the show also stars Shakti Anand, Ritu Chaudhary, Hiten Tejwani, Gauri Pradhan, Kamalika Guha Thakurta, and Ketki Dave in pivotal roles. The first episode will premiere from June 29 onwards at 10:30 PM on Star Plus. Meanwhile, the buzz about Naagin 7 has been circulating for many months now. It was reportedly supposed to begin early this year. In February, Ektaa Kapoor officially announced Naagin 7 and assured fans that the show is being made. Speaking about the last season, Naagin 6 starred Tejasswi Prakash in the lead role. The show also featured Simba Nagpal, Urvashi Dholakia, and Mahek Chahal in lead roles. Naagin 6 premiered on February 12, 2022, and aired till July 9, 2023.

Ektaa Kapoor says the Kyunki reboot isn't just about TRPs but changing mindsets. If one father supports his daughter instead of harming her, she'll feel proud. Ektaa R Kapoor is all set for the reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (KSBKBT), with the same lead actors Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay. For Ektaa, Kyunki is not just a show; it is something that has inspired many. Citing a recent example of a shocking case where a father shot his daughter for making a reel, she shared that if she can change the mindset of even one such person, that will be her victory. In a conversation with HT City, Ektaa shared, 'For me, reinventing television is secondary, creating lots of noise and high TRP is secondary. But making that medium relevant in a way that people discuss what happened in a show at the dining table is primary. If I can do that with television—where I can have one mindset changed, where one father can be proud of his daughter's achievement and doesn't shoot her in the head because of that—I would feel extremely proud." The world is changing, and with people shifting to OTT and getting access to a wider range of content, many believe that daily soaps are regressive, and KSBKBT is often brought in as an example of that. Ektaa Kapoor on Thursday announced that the upcoming reboot of her hit show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, will be back with limited episodes. She revealed that the film will focus on bigger issues instead of TRP and claimed that her show has helped to bring conversations around marital, domestic rapes, age shaming and more in Indian homes. She also said that her show gave voice to women in the country, sparking nostalgia among the fans. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will mark the acting return of Smriti Irani, who is a member of the Indian Parliament. Ektaa took to her Instagram account and issued a statement. It read: 'WHY KYUNKI, WHY NOW?' She revealed why she decided to bring back her show after 25 years. Ektaa shared that although her initial response was a no, she changed her mind owing to the contributions of the show. 'When the 25th year of 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' was approaching and the idea of relaunching it surfaced, my first reaction was a firm no! Why would I want to shake up nostalgia? In an interview with Learn From The Legend's YouTube channel, producer Pahlaj Nihalani has now slammed Ektaa for ruining Indian culture with her television serials. What Pahlaj said about Ektaa During the interaction, Pahlaj was asked about the current shift in Hindi films and how the audience has a different taste now. In response, he said, 'Shah Rukh Khan, who was known for romancing in films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, even he is holding a gun in his films. So these films are working now. Take RRR, which was based on Ramayana and Mahabharat, and then in Kalki 2898 AD, the end was completely inspired by Mahabharat. Hindustani culture is still so strong in our society."
