Ramadan 2025 Series That Didn't Quite Meet Our Expectations

Every Ramadan, certain series set high expectations—whether because of their star studded casts, intriguing storylines, or promising trailers. Not all of them fully deliver on their potential. This year, a few shows fell short of what we had hoped for, leaving audiences wanting more. However, the season is still ongoing, so there's always room for these series to turn things around. Here's a look at the ones that didn't quite hit the mark: El Captain – Not as Funny as Expected With its comedic premise and talented cast, El Captain seemed poised to be one of the funniest shows this season. However, while it has its moments, the humor doesn't always land as strongly as expected. Fans were hoping for sharper wit and a more engaging comedic flow. Seed El Nas – A Slow Build-Up From the trailers, Seed El Nas promised an emotionally gripping story, but its slow pacing has made it harder for viewers to stay engaged. The narrative takes its time unfolding, which some might appreciate, but others were expecting a more dynamic and intense execution. 3o2bal 3andoko – A Duo That Didn't Live Up to Expectations With a strong lead pair, 3o2bal 3andoko had the potential to be one of the most compelling series of the season. Audiences expected the real life couple, Amy Samir Ghanem and Hassan El Raddad, to deliver something truly impressive, but so far, the execution has been underwhelming. The chemistry and storytelling haven't lived up to the hype, leaving viewers hoping for more. Gawdar 2 – An Underwhelming Sequel Compared to the First Part The success of Gawdar set the bar high for its sequel. However, Gawdar 2 hasn't fully recaptured the intensity and intrigue of the first part. While it's still entertaining, it feels like it's missing the depth and impact that made its predecessor so compelling. El Sharnaqa – A Web of Deception With a cast full of big names, El Sharnaqa promised a thrilling watch, but instead, it pulled viewers into a whirlwind of strategic moves and constant manipulation. While some enjoyed the intricate mind games, others found the endless scheming exhausting, making it hard to fully connect with the story.
