Indiana Fever to relaunch ‘Stranger Things' special edition jersey

The Indiana Fever are again collaborating with the Netflix series "Stranger Things" to bring alternate uniforms, which they will wear Thursday, July 24, in their game against the Las Vegas Aces. The team first wore the jersey with the "Stranger Things" font on the front in 2021. "Stranger Things" – which is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana – will stream its final season on Netflix in three parts starting on Nov. 26. The jersey will also feature Demogorgon claw accents, and "011" on the waistband, referencing the character, Eleven, portrayed by actress Millie Bobby Brown. The team also plans on wearing the jersey in home games on July 30 vs. the Phoenix Mercury, Aug. 9 vs. the Chicago Sky, Aug. 12 vs. the Dallas Wings, Aug. 26 vs. the Seattle Storm, and Sept. 9 against the Minnesota Lynx. The only road game where the jersey is scheduled to be worn is against the Sparks in Los Angeles on Aug. 29. The Fever are 12-12 and in seventh place in the WNBA standings after Tuesday night's loss to the New York Liberty. Indiana is still without star Caitlin Clark as she is nursing a groin injury.

BLACKPINK's Lisa makes Netflix debut on Hitmakers only to REJECT unfinished songs, here's what happened next

Netflix's latest reality music series Hitmakers is officially out and it's already turning heads. Released globally on July 24, 2025, the six-part show brings together 12 successful songwriters and producers from around the world. They are all tasked with creating hit tracks for a lineup of iconic artists: John Legend, genre-bending country star Shaboozey, and global K-pop sensation Lisa of BLACKPINK. The series offers a rare behind-the-scenes look into songwriting camps, where each group collaborates under pressure to produce the next big hit. But fans tuning in especially for Lisa were in for a surprise. The BLACKPINK star doesn't make her official appearance until the final episode. Lisa's song challenge in Hitmakers Though her name was teased throughout the season, Lisa officially entered the Hitmakers spotlight in Episode 6. One day before the finale's release, on July 23, Netflix dropped a teaser clip of the singer. She was seen addressing the contestants via video message. In the clip, Lisa thanks the songwriters for their efforts and lays down her challenge. 'The type of song I'm looking for... I want something catchy and upbeat. Not too slow, because I'm a performer, so I have to dance,' she says. 'And it would be nice if there's a rap verse as well. I love hip-hop. I'm so excited to see what you guys come up with.' Her brief but enthusiastic appearance quickly went viral online, with fans eager to hear what the talented participants would deliver. Lisa picks Eleven as favorite track in Hitmakers Over the course of Episode 6, viewers watch the creative process unfold as teams compete to craft the perfect Lisa-style track. In the end, three original songs are presented: Eleven, Back in Business, and HOT. The songs were presented to Lisa in their unfinished form. She turned down Back in Business and HOT, but saw promise in the third track. Ultimately, Lisa picked Eleven as her top choice. She notes that she particularly loves the energy and vibe but suggests that the chorus could use some tweaking. According to the show, Lisa is seriously considering recording Eleven, once the hook is polished to be even catchier. Whether you're a fan of BLACKPINK, curious about how hit songs are made, or just love competition reality shows, Hitmakers has something for everyone. The show offers a unique blend of music industry insight and star power. Lisa's presence, although limited to the finale, leaves a lasting impression. It also raises the anticipation for a possible official release of Eleven. Meanwhile, all six episodes of Hitmakers are now available to stream on Netflix.

What secrets does Stranger Things hide before Eleven? Broadway's chilling prequel finally reveals all

Before the Upside Down was opened, before Eleven's powers, and before Hawkins fell to supernatural terror, there was Henry Creel. Broadway's Stranger Things: The First Shadow takes fans deep into the hidden past of the Netflix universe, delivering an eerie, emotional origin story that has already claimed four Tony Awards and left audiences stunned. Set in 1959, the play centres on teenage Henry (played by Louis McCartney), a troubled boy grappling with horrifying visions in the seemingly quiet town of Hawkins. Audiences familiar with the Netflix series know what he becomes, Vecna, the show's ultimate villain, but The First Shadow dares to ask what drove him there. Opposite him is Gabrielle Nevaeh's Patty Newby, a new character who sees Henry for who he is beneath the nightmares. Together, they form the heart of a story that's as tragic as it is thrilling. The stage production's visual feats are already the stuff of legend. Gravity-defying illusions, seamless transitions, and supernatural effects recreate the terror of Hawkins with an intensity that cinema rarely matches. Critics have called it unlike anything Broadway has seen, and fans agree. One audience member even screamed 'NO WAY' during a pivotal reveal, proof of how deeply this play grips viewers. Written by Kate Trefry with the Duffer Brothers and Jack Thorne, and directed by Stephen Daldry, the play serves as a prequel to the TV series but stands entirely on its own. With characters like Dr Brenner, young Bob Newby, and a host of familiar surnames from the Netflix series, the connections run deep, but it's Henry and Patty's bond that makes this more than a horror story. 'I connect with Henry through music,' McCartney said. 'He's a good kid, but broken.' Nevaeh added, 'Patty sees the light in him. That's what makes this story so powerful.'

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown's fashion and beauty brand now on Amazon

The Strangers Things actress has a fashion and beauty line that can now be found on the Amazon website She is best-known for playing Eleven on Stranger Things, but actress Millie Bobby Brown also has her own fashion and beauty brand: Florence by Mills. Fans can expect a range of fun skincare products that start at £20 and fashionable staples that start from around £3.50. Millie created the brand with the aim to provide clean, vegan beauty buys for all skin types. It originated in 2019 with makeup and skincare, before expanding to include coffee and fashion. Even better is that Florence by Mills items can now be found on Amazon. The beauty range on Amazon includes a Coffee Glow mask, £24, and the Oh Whale! Lip Balm which is designed to bring a sweet, hydrating pop of colour to the lips, at £24.98. But it's not all demure beauty products to shop. Florence by Mills' fashion line also features prominently. Listings include cosy loungewear, underwear, cotton tees with a lace trim, ribbed sweaters, cardigans and even travel accessories, like crossbody bags and duffle luggage. Alternatively, shoppers looking for a flattering silhouette, whatever they're wearing, can head over to Skims for the latest in shape and loungewear. Our top pick is the Soft Lounge Long Slip Dress. At £86, the figure-hugging style is made using modal rib material, falling to a maxi length. Shoppers can also find flattering wardrobe staples at Boden. Currently selling fast online, the Ruffle Detail Tier Midi Dress is offered in a striking "Poppy Red" hue. Made in a fit-and-flare silhouette, it comes in at £129, with sizes ranging from four to 22. There are three lengths available. There aren't many reviews for Florence by Mills products on Amazon yet, but shoppers have raved about the Cozy Crush Seamless Triangle Bralette (£12.61). One reviewer stated: "Wow, a soft bra that fits bigger boobs! So comfy and soft. My favorite bra at the moment." A second review shared: "Even though it looks really small out of the package, the amount of stretch it provides made it an easy fit and wasn't difficult to get over my head and shoulders (or even hips) to get on. Once on, it felt soft and comfortable." A third person raved: "This bralette is comfortable. The fit is true to size. It's a nice t-shirt bra for days when you don't need much support. I love the lilac colour also. However, one person noted: "A cute bra but runs a little small, so if you have larger breasts - you may want to size up." With Amazon Prime convenience and affordable prices, it's now possible to snap up Florence by Mills' clean beauty, cosy clothing and lifestyle pieces in one spot.
