2 women flyers held with 1cr drugs in body
Mumbai: The DRI arrested two Kenyan women, Elizabeth Opondo and Oliviah Kahendi, for smuggling 600 gm of cocaine worth Rs 1 crore on their body.
Officials said the two accused arrived at the city international airport from Nairobi on Wednesday. They were asked if they were carrying any contraband but they refused. While personal search led to nothing, they were sent to JJ hospital for an X-ray which showed foreign particles in their bodies.
Later, each of them purged 97 pellets of around 336 grams. TNN
