When going solo or with groups, K-pop idols almost always venture towards different facets of music to realise their next artistic direction. Usually, we see idols debuting on the American charts, but we might just be able to see one on Bollywood screens very soon. In an interview with GQ India published on 28th June 2025 (Saturday), Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) hinted at his intent for a possible Bollywood debut. The 31-year-old artist had also expressed eagerly in multiple interviews during his trip to India about how he would want to be featured in films in India. 'I want to take this opportunity to announce that, actually… I've never acted before in my life, but my first movie is going to be a Bollywood film', Jackson said in the GQ India interview. Joining him was Indian singer Diljit Dosanjh, who was also featured on the idol's song 'Buck', as they converse jokingly about his possible Bollywood debut. The GOT7 member also hinted at his intent to join actor Hrithik Roshan's upcoming film, Krrish 4, in an interview with Elle India, saying, 'Maybe I'll be able to participate in the soundtrack. Or maybe since I've never acted before, it could be my first time acting'. The 31-year-old continued saying that they could bring him out on set without having a dialogue, as he could be shot as soon as he appears. Women's luxury occasion wear brand Dolly J has expanded its offering into menswear, launching a collection of traditional and fusion style designs for the upcoming festive and wedding seasons. The new menswear line is now available on Dolly J's direct to customer e-commerce store with a selection of 20 designs, according to the brand's website. Along with its couture offering, Dolly J also carries a range of ready to ship garments on its online store. The brand's menswear line makes up part of its new collection 'An Heirloom Summer,' which is designed to mix heritage and modern tailoring styles, Elle India reported. Featuring designs ranging from tuxedos to sherwanis, the collection highlights embroidery techniques from Kashmir. "The Noir Story- where heirloom meets haute in every stitch of black," announced Dolly J on Facebook, debuting a range of menswear looks along with sleek womenswear designs. "From exquisitely embroidered sarees to tailored achkans and Lucknowi sherwanis, this all-black chapter from An Heirloom Summer is bold, timeless, and unapologetically regal. Crafted for those who wear tradition with an edge." Founded by entrepreneur and creative Dolly Jhunjhunwala in 2009, Dolly J specialises in traditional style bridal and occasion wear, designed for contemporary Indians. The label retails from a range of multi-brand outlets including Pernia 's Pop-Up Shop, Aza Fashions, and Aashni and Co among others. The business is based in Delhi and has not held any funding rounds to date, according to business intelligence platform Tracxn.

Singer-rapper Jackson Wang, who is on his second trip to India, has finally revealed if he will be a part of Krrish 4. In an interview with news agency PTI, Jackson also heaped praises on Diljit Dosanjh, with whom he collaborated for the song Buck, and called himself a fan of the Punjabi singer. It also sparked rumours of a possible collaboration on Krrish 4, with Jackson himself teasing that he might be a part of the film. But now Jackson has said that these reports are fake. Talking about Hrithik, he said, "When we're together, especially Hrithik and I, we don't talk about work. So work-related stuff is never brought up in our conversation." He added that Krrish 4 is a big movie, but he is not in it. Recently, in an interview with Elle India, Jackson teased about being a part of the film. "I think he's preparing for a new movie, Krrish 4. I don't know, maybe I'll be able to participate in the soundtrack. Or you know, maybe…I've never acted before. So maybe this'll be my first time acting. Maybe in the movie, you see me and I come out and I die right away," Jackson had said. With Krrish 4, Hrithik will mark his directorial debut. The Krrish franchise, launched in 2003 by Rakesh Roshan, has become iconic in Indian cinema. It started with Koi Mil Gaya (2003), which introduced Rohit Mehra and his alien friend. The success continued with Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013).
