Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard Finalize Divorce

Emily Ratajkowski and her ex, Sebastian Bear-McClard, are officially single nearly three years after they initially filed for divorce. According to court docs obtained by the Daily Mail, a judgment was filed in the Manhattan Supreme Court on July 22. The docs also revealed that a qualified medical child support order was given, as the former couple shares a three-year-old son, Sylvester Apollo Bear. Their divorce was almost finalized in December 2024, as a settlement had been reached. However, details are slim, as divorce records are legally private in New York, where they filed. EmRata's attorney reportedly 'submitted a bunch of documents' at the time, including the child support order, certificate of dissolution, and a proposed judgment of divorce. Per the Daily Mail's report, her proposed judgment was 'returned for correction.' A few months before the initial filing in September 2022, a source confirmed to Page Six that the model first made plans to divorce Sebastian after cheating rumors surfaced. 'Yeah, he cheated. He's a serial cheater. It's gross. He's a dog,' the insider said at the time. Since then, EmRata has been embracing the single life and even turned her engagement ring from Sebastian into two customized 'divorce rings' with assistance from the jeweler behind her original sparkler, Alison Chemla. 'The rings represent my own personal evolution,' the My Body author told Vogue about the decision. 'I don't think a woman should be stripped of her diamonds just because she's losing a man.' She revealed that Stephanie Danler's story from The Paris Review, 'The Unravelers,' inspired her to change up her jewelry. 'It includes the story of her grandmother's snake ring—a ring that is made up of the different stones from her various marriages,' she told the outlet. 'I loved the idea of a ring unabashedly representing the many lives a woman has lived.' She added that designing the new set of rings was a 'fun project' to work on 'amidst a hugely transitional period in my life.' 'The ring became symbolic to me—some kind of token or evidence of my life becoming my own again,' she shared. 'Somehow, these rings feel like a reminder that I can make myself happy in ways I never imagined.'

Emily Ratajkowski Looks Completely Different With A New Fringed French Bob

Never one to shy away from a major beauty transformation, model and ELLE UK cover star Emily Ratajkowski just debuted her most effortless haircut yet: an airy, textured French bob, complete with a wispy full fringe. The star, also referred to as Em Rata, took to Instagram to share a sneak peak at her wavy cropped style, which she appears to sport throughout her appearance in Lena Dunham's latest rom-com Too Much. While we're almost certain this dramatic alternative style was courtesy of a wig, most likely used exclusively for filming the project, there's no denying the epic alternative look it offers the My Body author. It wouldn't be the first time one of her dramatic faux cuts has served as major haircut inspiration. If you're thinking of opting for a bold bob trend this summer, a French bob could be the perfect option. It's lived-in and leans into natural texture, meaning it doesn't require the same daily styling as other popular styles (we're looking at you, box bob). 'When we think of a French bob with a fringe, we think classic Parisian cool,' hairstylist Abigail Constanza recently told ELLE UK. 'Chin-length, a little bit cheeky, and paired with soft bottleneck bangs, it's low-maintenance but has real character. Ask your hairstylist for a chin-length bob with minimal layers, textured ends, and bottleneck bangs that taper out into the sides,' she adds. To style the look, she recommends adding a little mousse at your roots and diffusing for a natural wave. Alternatively, you can wear it sleek, using a glossing serum for that coveted lived-in polish. Remember, when it comes to bangs, it's always best to ask your stylist to cater your cut to your personal facial anatomy. A full fringe is fantastic for making a statement, but there are plenty of other options like contouring curtain bangs or a playful micro-fringe. I'm Shocked - My Favourite Salomon Trainers Are Now In The Amazon Prime Day Sale

There aren't many things EmRata and I have in common, but there's one thing I'm certain of - we have the same taste in trainers. EmRata is a big trainer fan (as am I) and has been spotted wearing pretty much every go-to brand, whether that be Puma's Speedcat trainers or the New Balance 574s. But, there's one brand in particular that we both come back to time and time again - Salomon. No longer reserved for those with a penchant for Gore-Tex or off-duty hikers in the Dolomites, Gen Z has taken Salomon trainers and thrust them into something far cooler in the increasingly aestheticised world of outdoorsy or 'crunchy' fashion. EmRata often opts for the XT-6 Skylines - a sleek Salomon trainer that can either be styled with a pair of cargo trousers, or, the EmRata way, with a sheer dress. Salomon's trainers always hit the sweet spot of versatility, they're made for the urban-trekker - and by that I mean they suggest that either a) you're about to summit a minor peak, or b) you're off out to grab a flat white in East London. EmRata proves this with her clever styling, which juxtaposes said trainer with something super feminine. ©Getty Images/Raymond Hall It's not just EmRata who has fallen for Salomons, either. Bella Hadid is in on the action too, spotted back in 2021 (and many times since) wearing a pair of bright red XT-4 Salomons. She styled the shoes with an equally as hiking-dad-esque oversized Nike polo shirt and wraparound sunglasses, and the look went viral for the divisive styling choice. ©Getty Images/Raymond Hall As for me? My Salomon of choice is the Ultra Pioneer. Somewhat easier to track down compared to the cult favourite XT-6s, but not overdone, the Ultra Pioneer shoe is a great one to have in your casual wardrobe, whether you're planning on hiking with them or not. The shoes have carried me through my 10,000-steps-a-day personal challenge and a 15-mile hike without any discomfort whatsoever - and not to sound dramatic, but I might never go back to anything unless (unless Salomon brings out a loafer, then, yes, I'm very likely to invest). In terms of sizing, I'm usually a UK 4.5 in most shoes, or if the brand doesn't offer middling sizes, I'll opt for a 5. In my Salomons, I went with a 5 and the trainers fit perfectly - roomy (but not too roomy) in the toe box and snug (but not so snug that it causes blisters) in the rest of the foot. The excellent news is that Salomon's trainers are in the Amazon Prime Day sale - starting at around £80. Yes, the EmRata-approved, Bella Hadid-approved and Grazia -approved trainers are currently on sale - so if you've been eyeing them up for a while, dwell no longer - now's the moment to invest. Shop my picks of the best Salomon's in the Amazon Prime Day sale below. Salomon, Ultra Pioneer Gore-Tex Outdoor Shoes Salomon describes its Ultra Pioneer shoes as a 'versatile hiking shoe', meaning it's made for climbs and everyday adventures (even if that's your morning coffee run). Available in a gorgeous grey and sage green colourway, style with wide leg trousers and a boxy tee. Salomon, Women's Speedcross Trail Running Shoe The Speedcross shoe is another popular Salomon design, purely for the fact that it's a legendary trail shoe with unmatched grip and fit. The fit inside features a cradle for your heel and welded upper, and it also comes in a pretty sweet pink colourway. Salomon, Women's X Ultra 360 Leather Walking Shoe If you're on the hunt for a trainer that can also double up as a walking shoe, Salomon offers the perfect pair - complete with an advanced chassis, moulded toe cap and waterproof membrane. Its muted colourway also makes it perfect for pairing with jeans and maxi skirts. Salomon, Unisex XA Pro V8 Waterproof Shoes Although advertised as children's, I can personally vouch for these Salomons as I have these myself. The sizes go all the way up to a UK 13.5 and are perfect for those with a slightly narrower-than-average foot. Salomon, Women's Reelax Slide If you want to invest in a Salomon, but you're not a trainer fan, the brand also does a sandal that's perfect for summer (and is also in the Prime Day sale). The vanilla ice shade is our favourite, and can be styled as well with midi dresses and satin skirts, as it can be with trousers. 'Sorry Emily Ratajkowski, but having 'zero straight men in your life' is actually your loss'

The unspoken understanding of a shared holiday wardrobe. A knowing look when it's time to leave the pub and grab an Uber home. A constant stream of communication, support, and love. It's true what they say about female friendships: they often are the strongest, most important relationships of your life. The ones that see you through both the highs and the lows; those that are there to soak in the ecstasy of celebrations, but also to scoop you up off the floor when things get rough. But Emily Ratajkowksi has still got it wrong when it comes to cutting straight male friends out of her life. In a recent interview with Elle UK, the 34-year-old model revealed she was refusing to 'centre men' right now, and instead was purposefully only spending time with women and queer friends. 'I still like men,' she said, before adding: 'I just have zero straight men in my life, unless they're a romantic interest. In the hierarchy of needs, that's at the top of the pyramid, which is nice. [Men are] pleasure and fun, but not a part of my core. The rest of my life is community with other women and queer people, and being a mum.' Look, I get it. As a woman who has been constantly berated on the internet for her 'overtly sexual nature', and labelled as a sex symbol by every mainstream media outlet under the sun, it makes sense for EmRata to want to distance herself from the male gaze; to not let men define her. It's why she wrote her 2021 book, My Body, a deeply personal investigation into both the commodification of the female form and sexuality, but also her own nuanced experience of how she — and her physical body — are perceived, scrutinised, and commented on in the public eye. But to totally remove herself from any interaction with a straight male — 'unless they're a romantic interest' — is to lose out on so much that there is to gain from these relationships. The joy that a platonic male friend can bring: the alternate view point, the differing experiences of the world, and the idea that you can connect with someone of another gender in a genuinely fulfilling (but non-sexual) way. Of course, I'm sure she's getting this from the queer community, and from other women. I have no doubt she is surrounded by interesting, kind, and funny people — and these friendships are important. And beautiful! Fulfilling! Amazing! But to dismiss a whole category of potential connections based on their gender seems reductive, and, quite frankly, a loss. Some of my best friends are male. My school friends, Ed and Ben, who I've known for almost 15 years; my husband's best men, Dan and Gaz. The idea of distancing myself from them based on their gender diminishes the importance of connection; of finding another personality you properly gel with — and also pushes the outdated relic that men and women can't 'just' be friends. There's also the suggestion that men, for EmRata, are just 'pleasure and fun', and serve no purpose beyond serving her needs. Sexual gratification, sure, but emotional connection, a shared sense of humour, or seeking advice over a shared bowl of chips? Nah, she's good. This narrative seeks to create further divide between the genders at a time when we need more open communication than ever. Recent data from King's College London found that 57% of Gen Z (aged 13 to 28) men believe women's rights have gone so far that men are now actively being discriminated against (with 36% of Gen Z women agreeing with that statement too). Surely we should be encouraging young people to talk to each other; to gain an emotional understanding of differing gender's points of view, and not further push this dynamic of division? I'd argue the men I know who nurture their female friendships make for better partners, because of their increased understanding. Who wouldn't want more of that in the world? In a sense, I get what Ratajkowksi is saying: female and queer friendships are joyful, supportive, and filled with love. But there's no reason why relationships with men shouldn't be like this too (and why we can't have both.) Maybe she just hasn't met my friends Ed and Ben yet. The 5 Most Memorable Emily Ratajkowski Moments

A glimpse at the iconic moments that catapulted Emily Ratajkowski into Emrata fame Emily Ratajkowski—better known to her fans as EmRata —ascended from a role in the infamous Blurred Lines music video with Robin Thicke to gracing the covers of top magazines and walking for leading ready-to-wear designers in somewhat of a stratospheric rise. Whether launching her own fashion brand, Inamorata, or using her platform to challenge conventions on owning your body and power, Emily Ratajkowski swiftly became far more than a model. Here, we take a look at the moments that have made her a household name. Her debut in Gone Girl Emily's role in David Fincher's Gone Girl was a breakout moment for her acting career. Playing the mysterious character of Andie in the box office hit was more than just a model cameo moment, it was a strategic move that showcased her potential in Hollywood and proved she could hold her own in a drama-heavy thriller. The 2019 Met Gala EmRata delivered a full-on fantasy moment at the 2019 Met Gala, channelling a Cher-inspired goddess in a custom Dundas look. She wore a sheer, crystal-covered gown, but it was her headpiece that truly stole the show. A cascade of sparkling strands and delicate wings framed her face, giving Old Hollywood glamour a futuristic edge. Publishing her first book, My Body In 2021, Emily released My Body —a sharp, deeply personal collection of essays. Peeling back the layers of fame, beauty, and power, she unpacks what it means to be both desired and objectified in the modern world. More than just a memoir, the book cements EmRata as a voice of her industry—one unafraid to challenge the systems that shaped her. Divorce rings Turning heartbreak into high fashion, EmRata made waves in 2024 by transforming her two-stone engagement ring into a pair of chic diamond rings post-divorce. She quickly sparked a new trend—divorce rings as a celebration of independence and fresh starts. Leave it to Emily to make a break-up look this chic. The face of the fringe No one makes a fringe feel as effortlessly cool as Emily Ratajkowski. From her blunt, ultra-glossy fringe to soft, face-framing curtain layers, she's mastered every version of the look. Whether paired with a sleek ponytail or tousled waves, EmRata's fringe is proof that the right hairstyle can go down in history.
