The mid-season update first brought Ultron as a playable character, along with a brand new game mode around him named Ultron's Battle Matrix Protocol. Along with this, some new features were added as well like the Combat Chest. Now as we are in the middle of June 2025, it's time for another Twitch Drop where players will be treated with loads of rewards regarding the Duelist Magik. The last instance of the event saw players getting frenzy with the Emma Frost cosmetics. This time too, there is no difference in terms of excitement. Everything you need to know about Marvel Rivals June 2025 Twitch drops Marvel Rivals has recently announced via its official Twitter handle that the new rounds of Twitch Drops for June 2025 is going to be launched on June 19 at 12:00 UTC. This new Twitch Drop features new cosmetics for the popular Duelist in the game, Magik, which can be redeemed by watching selected streamers on Twitch for specific hours. However, players need to keep in mind that these rewards will be available until July 16, 2025, 9:00 UTC to be redeemed. It's now actually dual-treats for all the Magik fans in Marvel Rivals . Here's all the available rewards from the June 2025 Twitch Drops and necessary watchtimes to redeem the respective rewards: Reward Watch time Magik「Will of Galacta」Spray 1 Hour Magik「Will of Galacta」Nameplate 2 Hours Magik「Echoes of Limbo」Emotes 4 Hours Magik「Will of Galacta」Costume 6 Hours In order to redeem these rewards, all you need to do is follow some simple steps. Upon compilation of required watch hours, you can claim your rewards from the Twitch Drop Inventory page. Now, how to find the eligible streams to get the rewards? During the event period, players are advised to watch streams under the 'Marvel Rivals' category to participate in the event. Drops-enabled streams will display the broadcast's "Drops Enabled" tag. As streaming giant Netflix (NFLX) looks forward to the second half of 2025, it's already planning a way to outshine the first. Netflix has announced that British showrunner Emma Frost, along with Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, and Tracey Cook, will direct a limited-series adaption of author Edith Wharton's classic novel "The Age of Innocence." Set in 19th century New York, Wharton's novel is about a passionate love triangle between a man, his wife, and a third woman who he knows he should not be in love with, but cannot help himself. "The new take promises to be true to Wharton's novel but will speak to a new generation as it traverses the ballrooms and bedrooms of its young characters, asking what is love - and what is lust. And should we ultimately be driven by our heads, or by our hearts?" Netflix says in its announcement of the show. Just as executive producer Shonda Rimes reinvented "Bridgerton" by introducing diversity into its universe, it sounds as if "The Age of Innocence" may also get a spin on its treatment. And considering that the novel's original message is a bittersweet one, it will be quite interesting to see if Netflix can pull off the magic of reinventing a bygone era a second time. What Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 Means for NetEase Stock (NTES)
Marvel Rivals developer NetEase (NTES) launched Season 2.5 on Friday, and with it came major changes to the team-based hero shooter featuring Disney's (DIS) Marvel characters. The biggest change in Marvel Rivals Season 2.5 is the introduction of Ultron as a new character to the game. He fills the Strategist role, and players can unlock a golden skin for the robot menace. There's also the Cerebro Database II season event for players to take part in. Finally, a laundry list of hero changes was introduced, including balances and new Team Ups. These changes and additions benefit NetEase, as they encourage players to spend money on new character skins, as well as other cosmetics. The new events and introduction of a new character also help bring back players who may have taken a break since the last major update. NTES Stock Movement Today Despite the release of Marvel Rivals Season 2.5, shares of NTES stock were down 2.21% as of Friday morning. Even so, shares of NTES stock are still up 40.96% year-to-date.
