Love Island star Emma reveals real reason she and Harry discussed winning £50k after ‘game plan' rumours
LOVE Island's evicted bombshell Emma Munro has opened up on the real reason she discussed the show's whopper cash prize with Harry Cooksley. Love Island 2025 OG Harry was left stunned when his real-world ex Emma entered the Mallorca compound, and he could be heard saying: "Oh my god, it's my ex." 6 6 6 Fans then previously insisted the late arrival should win the series after dishing out home truths to Harry before revealing the real reason for their split. Yet their connection then appeared to take a turn - after Harry pulled Emma for a chat and they enjoyed some new banter about PDA, as fans claimed the brunette's "real mask had slipped." This was exacerbated when she was heard discussing the show's £50K cash prize pot on the ITV2 series. In spin off show Aftersun, host Maya Jama directly asked the TV show star why. She said: "You're one of the few Islanders who have actually mentioned the 50k." Emma replied: "We have broken the fourth wall," to which Maya said: "You did, can you clarify what you meant by that? "I think you said something after like 'ahh play along' something like that?" Emma giggled before she said: "Look I'm glad you brought that up because the whole thing was a complete joke. "Harry and I had nothing else to talk about and we are both really playful but I can confirm there was no game plan and we were just being silly. "None of it was serious." SPEAK OUT As well as his flirting with ex Shakira Khan and new bombshell Angel Swift, footballer Harry was previously seen telling his ex Emma that he still loves her, prior to her being dumped from the island. Love Island star Emma MOCKED Harry just days before going on show to win him back – AND had a boyfriend
LOVE Island star Emma Munro branded her ex Harry 'ugly' and said he 'wouldn't stand a chance now' — just weeks before entering Casa Amor and flirting her way back into his heart. Casa bombshell Emma, who arrived on Day 27 in a shock twist, is now plotting to rekindle her romance with Harry — despite slating him in brutal Instagram DMs only a month earlier and knowing he's coupled up with Helena. 6 6 The news has come as a big surprise to insiders, who have revealed she was dating someone else just six weeks ago. And her ex believes she's gone in there for one reason and one reason only - to get Harry back. The source told us: 'Her ex and everyone else don't think there's any other reason to go on that show apart from to get back with him. "That's been the plan the whole time, everyone is 99% sure it was planned.' The lad dating Emma called it quits after the Love Island line-up was revealed and she told him about Harry. In a string of cutting messages exchanged on Instagram, which have been seen by The Sun, Emma ripped into Harry's looks, calling him 'butters' and saying he had 'got so skinny since I haven't been feeding him.' 'She literally said he 'wouldn't stand a chance now' and told me she couldn't be bothered with the producers messaging her about going on the show,' the insider added. 'It was all very strange because she was asking for a serious relationship with this guy but at the same time she was talking about Harry and Love Island all the time.' They tell us she was initially very against the show and ruled out entering but in a dramatic u-turn that left fans shocked, she made a surprise entrance and then set her sights on him once again. 'She said she wanted to be the bigger person,' they told us, 'but now she's trying to win the whole thing with the same guy she was mocking.' Spot the blink and you'll miss it moment that proves Love Islanders Emma and Harry are still in love - did you see it? In Thursday night's episode, she was seen getting close to Harry and even suggesting a romantic reunion, telling him: 'I think people would love to see…' — leaving fans shocked as she clearly hinted the public wanted them back together. Later in the conversation, she added: 'We're stuck for life', while Harry, clearly torn between Emma and Helena, confessed: 'I can't compare anyone to you,' before adding, 'Of course I love you, of course I always have love for you.' He then asked her: 'Did you Love Island to get back with me?' Emma, now looking sheepish, replied: 'I didn't plan for any of this,' and teased: 'See you back at home in bed.' The pair then reminisced about the house they once shared — which still hasn't sold — and Emma subtly floated the idea of coupling back up to go all the way to the final and win the £50k. Emma and Harry were together for three years, but split after she claimed he cheated and brought other girls back to their home — something she revealed in explosive scenes during her return. The source add: 'They both still own the house together, which is something she openly spoke about and it all just seems rather convenient that they have both ended up on the show together and so close to the end. "No one would be surprised if they were both in on it.' And her ex believes Emma, who is unable to give her version of events while in the villa, has gone in there for one reason and one reason only - to get Harry back. 6 6 6 6 Emma's Love Island journey What you need to know about Emma and Harry The pair dated for around three years. Emma Munro is Harry Cooksley's ex-girlfriend - he has the initial 'E' tattooed on him. Before entering the villa, Norwich beauty Emma was asked about her previous relationships. She told ITV: "Harry is my ex boyfriend. Harry and I had been together for four years." The Hydrogeologist continued: "But unfortunately we broke up because he was misbehaving." Semi pro footballer Harry and Emma reunited during Casa Amor. They shared a kiss during Raunchy Races, but didn't seem keen on rekindling their past flame. Emma coupled up with Conor - allegedly to re-enter the villa. During the re-coupling, Emma threw shade at Harry's behaviour in Casa Amor and said he would be 'exposed' for who he really is. While in the villa, Emma revealed that Harry had cheated on her with multiple women. Emma spent a steamy night in the Hideaway with Boris. She has since done a u-turn and is back on Harry's trail. The 30-year-old was seen trying to rekindle their romance - and asked Harry to sniff her armpits. The pair were seen having a heart-to-heart and talking about their love for each other. She has since told Helena that Harry is still in love with her - which Harry has denied.
