'I have known Rick for over 45 years and there wasn't a minute of that time that he didn't leave me smiling or laughing,' Jones wrote Thursday night. 'Sure he was a professional comedian, but mostly he just had a heart as big as Texas. He was a fine actor, a splendid comic, and a wonderfully supportive colleague.' The duo worked on the Emmy Award-nominated show during the 1970s and 1980s. 'We have always thought of our Cooter's friends as 'Hazzard Nation,' Well, Hazzard Nation is sure going to miss Rick Hurst down here around 'Cooters,' but his presence will always be near us. Rest in Peace, old friend,' Jones added. Hurst was born in 1946 on New Year's Day in Houston, Texas. 4 Hurst starred as Deputy Cletus Hogg on the classic 'The Dukes of Hazzard' series. By 1979, he was cast as Cletus Hogg, a kind-hearted but clumsy deputy, on 'The Dukes of Hazzard' and appeared in 55 episodes of the show. 4 Hurst revived his role as Deputy Cletus Hogg in the 1997 television movie 'The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!' CBS via Getty Images Hurst continued to appear as a guest star through the 1980s and 1990s in shows like 'Steel Magnolias,' 'Melrose Place' and 'Family Matters.' Hurst is survived by his first wife, Candace Kaniecki, and his sons, Collin Hurst and 'Remember the Titans' actor Ryan Hurst.

Qualley, who also starred in the Oscar-winning film The Substance, is once again working with husband-and-wife duo Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke (who is queer) on a new film called Honey Don't!. Honey Don't! stars Qualley as the titular Honey, a gay private investigator who is "investigating a questionable church led by Chris Evans," per i-D. Deadline also reported that Emmy Award-nominated actress Aubrey Plaza is also in the film and will play a mysterious woman, as well as Charlie Day (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Billy Eichner (Bros), Gabby Beans (The Skin of Our Teeth), and Talia Ryder (Never Rarely Sometimes Always). Speaking with i-D, Qualley said the role required her "to be a little more suave than I am, more mysterious. I tend to want to diffuse things before they even happen. [Whereas] Honey, she's like honey — she's skillful, she's smooth, she is slipping in and out undetected." Honey Don't! is a quasi-sequel to 2024's Drive-Away Dolls, where Qualley starred as a slacker lesbian who goes on a road trip with her best friend, unaware that criminals are chasing them. Trump's ‘The Apprentice' now streaming for first time

The reality TV show that made Donald Trump a celebrity household name has begun streaming for the first time since its 2004 premiere. Amazon Prime Video announced Monday that viewers would be able to stream all seven seasons of 'The Apprentice.' The first season of the Mark Burnett-produced competition show, which also made a star out of contestant Omarosa Manigault, hit the platform Monday — with the remaining six seasons rolling out weekly through April 27. President Trump said in a statement, 'I look forward to watching this show myself — such great memories, and so much fun, but most importantly, it was a learning experience for all of us!' With 16 contestants performing various business-related challenges in pursuit of a $250,000 job at the Trump Organization, 'The Apprentice' became a ratings juggernaut for NBC. Trump, then known as a real estate mogul, gained fame with his signature catchphrase: 'You're fired.' The Emmy Award-nominated series spawned several spinoffs including 'The Celebrity Apprentice,' 'The Apprentice: Martha Stewart' and 'The Ultimate Merger' — a dating competition where eligible bachelors vied for romance with troublemaking Trump protegee Manigault. His three eldest children, Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric Trump, appeared as advisers through the franchise, which drew celebrities such as Joan Rivers, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Brett Michaels, Dionne Warwick, Arsenio Hall and LaToya Jackson. _____
