JSW Energy signs PPA for 300 MW solar-wind hybrid capacity with NHPC
JSW Energy
on Wednesday announced a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) through its stepdown subsidiary Energizent Power Private Limited,

for ISTS-connected
300 MW solar-wind hybrid capacity
, the company said in a statement.
The PPA is signed for supply of power for 25 years with a tariff of Rs 3.49/KWh. The project is expected to be commissioned in the next 24 months and is located in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
JSW Energy
has total locked-in generation capacity of 29.9 GW comprising of 12.5 GW operational, 12.8 GW under-construction across wind, thermal and hydro and pipeline of 4.6 GW.
It also has 29.3 GWh of locked-in
energy storage capacity
through hydro pumped storage projects of 26.4 GWh and battery energy storage system of 2.9 GWh.
JEW Energy aims to reach 30 GW generation capacity and 40 GWh of energy storage capacity by FY 2030 and achieve
Carbon Neutrality
by 2050, the company said.
