(Photo by Pascal) For years, Cardi B has been teasing her sophomore album and promoting it with single after single. The hip-hop superstar has scored multiple huge chart wins with both her own tracks and a variety of collaborations, but for quite a while, there was no word about a full-length. Now, the rapper has finally revealed that Am I the Drama? is set to arrive in mid-September, more than seven years after her debut full-length Invasion of Privacy took over the world. Cardi's latest single 'Outside' brings her back to the charts in the United Kingdom and earns the rapper the biggest hit she has managed in that nation in years. 'Outside' Debuts on Four U.K. Charts 'Outside' debuts on four rankings in the U.K. this week, earning its loftiest starting point on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart. On that tally, Cardi launches her latest tune at No. 15, scoring the third-highest-ranking debut. This frame, the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles list is dominated by 'Victory Lab,' a collaboration between Fred Again, Skepta, and Plaqueboymax, which opens in first place. Cardi B Charts Higher Than She Has in Years Despite being one of the most successful hip-hop musicians of the last decade or so, Cardi has not appeared as high as No. 15 on the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart for several years. The last time she lifted to a higher spot was in June 2021. 'Outside' Reaches Multiple Tallies 'Outside' also launches inside the top 20 on both the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales charts, where it enters at Nos. 17 and 20, respectively. It's only been a little more than a year since Cardi appeared in a more impressive position, as her most recent single 'Enough (Miami)' just narrowly beat where 'Outside' starts this week. Cardi B's Huge Collection of Hit Songs Cardi earns her twenty-sixth placement on the main ranking of the most consumed songs in the U.K. this week, where 'Outside' debuts at No. 72. 'Enough (Miami)' only spent one week at No. 85, while her previous track 'Bongos,' one of several collaborations with Megan Thee Stallion, rose all the way to No. 35 and still ranks as her most recent top 40 hit, even though it was released in September 2023.

Cardi B Takes It "Outside" With Her First Single in Over a Year
Summary Cardi Bhas been sporadic with her solo releases lately, finally returning to the scene with her first single in just about 15 months. The now-streaming 'Outside' is the Washington Heights rapper's first new music since she dropped off 'Enough (Miami)' back in March of 2024 – the latter of which marked another 'return' from the rapper, marking her first solo studio release since February 2021's 'Up.' So, needless to say, whenever we get a new Cardi offering, it's a treat. After first premiering 'Outside' back in May at a Cannes afterparty, Cardi has finally dropped the high-octane track on all streaming platforms. The rapper took to her Instagram earlier last week to announce the song's official release. Landing the same day asOffset's new track 'Bodies,' Cardi doesn't hold back on 'Outside,' coming in hot from her first bar. 'Well, let's go wrong for wrong (What?), let's go lick for lick (Let's go) / If I can handle that (Uh-huh), let me see you handle this (Okay),' she fires off on the first verse. 'Do you how you do me, bet you we won't speak again / Favorite player from your favorite team, he in my DM.' Stream 'Outside' – out on all streaming platforms now.
