Love Island stars who look unrecognisable after the villa…bombshell's bodybuilder transformation to shocking eye surgery

One ex Islander admitted they've ruined their face after endless tweakments NEW LOOK Love Island stars who look unrecognisable after the villa…bombshell's bodybuilder transformation to shocking eye surgery LOOKING for fortune, fame and occasionally romance, a steady stream of ultra glammed-up stars have graced our screens on Love Island over the past decade. And while some indulge in a few tweakments prior to heading into the villa, a shocking number have undergone dramatic transformations after leaving the show. Advertisement 26 Patsy Field is the latest Islander to change her look Credit: Rex 26 Patsy underwent cat eye face lift surgery to 'feel prettier' 26 Patsy revealed the results of the op this week This week Love Island's first disabled contestant, Patsy Field, 30, revealed the jaw-dropping results of a cat eye facelift, which she had in a bid to 'feel prettier'. The Kent admin worker, who has Erb's Palsy, went under the knife in Turkey after becoming hypercritical of her appearance while trying to make it as a social media influencer. She admitted her first reaction on seeing the results of the "gifted procedure" was "what have I done?" and later said she "wouldn't recommend this" to her fans. Patsy said being on TV made her more self-conscious, and she was "egged on" to have the op because she's constantly looking at pictures of herself and had always had an "insecurity" about her eyes. Advertisement She is far from the only Islander to be tempted by surgical 'enhancement' after the show - especially because, as one former star revealed, there's a 'daily influx' of emails from firms offering free surgery. Here we take a look at some of our ITV show alumni favourites who now look completely unrecognisable. Nicole Samuel Last year's Love Island runner-up Nicole Samuel looks noticeably different since her time in the villa. The Welsh beauty has been working hard in the gym and keeps fans up-to-date with her incredible transformation, recently showing off her toned frame in a barely-there swimsuit. Advertisement Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Daniel Barrett told MailOnline he believed Nicole had 'a little filler' and Botox. Unfortunately he believed the 'tweakments' had aged her, making her look 11 years older than she actually was, as he wrongly believed she was 35 instead of 24. Millie Court 26 Millie Court is among the rare group of Islanders still with their partners from the show Credit: Rex 26 She looks very different from when she was on Love Island Credit: Instagram/@milliegracecourt Advertisement Series seven winner Millie Court was forced to deny having a boob job after fans confused her 2st weight gain for going under the knife. The 29-year-old went up two dress sizes from a size 6 to a 10 after leaving the villa and said she was lucky the weight "goes to all the right places". She added: "It goes to my bum and boobs mainly, so my boobs are really big at the moment". Last year Millie, who has been getting lip filler since she was 17, spoke about having clearer skin after battling with acne flare-ups for years. Advertisement The former fashion buyer said she planned to have micro-needling - which smooths the skin by using small needles to increase collagen production - to mask her acne scars. Millie, is still dating her Love Island partner Liam Reardon from 2021 - they split in July 2022 but got back together in April 2023 - also switched her signature peroxide blonde locks for a darker shade. While she was booted off just days later, after failing to win over any of the boys, she's now turning heads for another reason. Lavena, 29, is now a bodybuilder, who just this week revealed she finished runner-up in a competition in a post flaunting her slim, muscular frame and natural curls. While she didn't walk away with a trophy, the mum-of-two, who tied the knot two years ago, said the 'journey lit a fire in me' online, hinting she will be returning for more. Advertisement Later she would claim to be 'too scared' to have plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures due to fearing needles so badly she would 'faint at a blood test'. However last year fans were double-taking after seeing snaps of the Brummie bombshell, 28, looking unrecognisable on a Majorca holiday. Tyne-Lexy hasn't addressed whether she's had any procedures done but has spoken about lifestyle changes and taking supplements. Back in 2018 she shed a stone and dropped two dress sizes in six weeks, admitting she "let herself go' after the show when she went back to university. Advertisement She also spoke about having clearer skin thanks to a herbal supplement after suffering acute acne breakouts on-and-off for years, which left her 'really depressed'. Advertisement The bodybuilding gym fanatic, who has gained a whopping 30kg of muscle, has participated in multiple competitions. He previously said he was "absolutely gutted" to be the first person voted off Love Island in 2017. Harley recalled working out five times a week and spending "half my life hungover" prior to the show, revealing he would go out drinking multiple times a week before he "broke the cycle". Harry Young 26 Harry Young first appeared on the show in 2021 Credit: Rex Advertisement 26 Fans struggled to recognise him thanks to a new haircut Credit: Instagram/HarryYoung Glaswegian Harry Young was the first Islander to be recruited through the dating app Tinder - and said he applied because he "didn't have the chance to date' during the pandemic. He was among the mass culling of contestants four days into his stint when six were kicked off in an especially cut-throat episode in 2021. Six months on from his TV appearance fans said the car salesman, 28, was unrecognisable after switching his quiffed flowing hair for a sharp fade with a flat fringe. Advertisement The transformation became apparent after he shared a selfie on Instagram, captioned: 'Ring light making eyes go mad,' showing off his brightly coloured irises. Jess White 26 Jess often had a slicked back look during her time on the show Credit: Rex 26 Her hairstyle has completely transformed her face Credit: Instagram 26 Jess now looks unrecognisable thanks to her new hairdo Credit: Instagram Advertisement No-nonsense northerner Jess White debuted a striking new look in August last year, not long after departing the villa. Rather than her usual slicked-back look, Jess, 26, framed her face with new thick bangs and had layers sliced into her glossy locks, leading some fans to brand her unrecognisable. She's since gone a step further and lightened her do, adding blonde highlights. Jess has also been open on social media about having filler in her lips. Advertisement She also shed nearly two stone, which she put on during the show due to 'sitting around eating' all of the time. Upon leaving the show, Faye had her lip filler completely dissolved, which she admitted was a 'shock to the system' because she believed it made her teeth and nose look bigger. Later, in an emotional plea to dissuade others from experimenting with injectables, the Exeter stunner, 30, told fans: 'I've ruined my face through over-filling and not getting the correct advice.' Sharing snaps of her 'lumpy' lips, Faye admitted having had 4ml of filler injected and admitted to being 'full of embarrassment and regret' seeing snaps of herself back on the show. Advertisement Two years on from the emotional posts, she hasn't addressed whether she's continued to undergo cosmetic procedures but her lips appear plumper again in recent snaps. Olivia Attwood 26 Love Island star Olivia Attwood back in 2017 Credit: Rex Features 26 She now fronts a docuseries that explores extreme plastic surgery Credit: Rex Olivia Attwood has never shied away from spilling the tea on all of her nips, tucks and 'tweakments'. Advertisement But in recent years she's exposed the problems of appearance-altering ops and has openly recognised her own fixation on them, which started from a young age and led her on a 'dangerous road to nowhere'. Two years on from leaving the villa in 2019, she spent £2,500 on chin liposuction and contouring and revealed she had been having fillers for six years. She had them dissolved after realising she had gone 'too far' and noticing her lip had 'come out of the lip line and started to look really puffy'. That same year Olivia had breast reduction surgery, having first had giant implants inspired by Katie Price and Jodie Marsh when she was 19 years old. Advertisement She told Heat magazine: 'They were really heavy and too big for my body, so I was starting to get some really bad aching. 'I can't wait to be able to wear more clothes now without my boobs falling out, putting people off their dinner.' Last year, Olivia - who is a fan of a slightly more natural look now - launched her ITV2 docuseries The Price of Perfection, which follows people undergoing drastic transformations. Inspired by her own body-altering mishaps, she said: 'I think what I've learned - and a lot of people have learned - is that with our bodies, we've got to be so careful not to follow fashion.' Love Island's first disabled girl reveals dramatic new look after painful surgery – and reveals tragic reason behind it

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) SHE made history as the first girl to enter the Love Island villa with a disability - and was lauded for her down to earth approach, natural beauty and inspiring story. But just a year on from the show, and Patsy Field, 30, decided to undergo surgery in a bid to make herself feel 'pretty' again after having her confidence stripped from her while on telly. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 7 Love Island star Patsy Field flew to Turkey for cat eye surgery 7 Straight after the op Patsy thought 'What have I done?' 7 The 30-year-old is now delighted with how her eyes look Patsy, who has Erb's Palsy, a condition that means one of her arms is shorter than the other and has less function, jetted to Turkey alone to undergo a cat eye facelift. When she awoke alone in her hotel room, Patsy was horrified by her appearance and couldn't look in the mirror for days. Revealing the results of her surgery for the first time, she tells us: 'I came back around, and I was in Turkey on my own, pain, just a bit scared, thinking like, 'What have I done?' initially. 'My eyes were like two pink golf balls with just a tiny little slit out to see, and that's when I thought, oh, I've messed up here. 'I caught a glimpse of myself in the TV in the hospital room that I was in, and I, like, was scared.' Explaining her decision behind the op, which saw her put to sleep, Patsy admits that being on telly and now being online so much has had its impact on her. She says: 'I just wanted to feel prettier in myself and I felt that this would change my face in a way. I'm happy with it, but I think also coming off the show if you want to be an influencer or you want to give it a go you're constantly taking videos and pictures of yourself. 'So I'm constantly looking at pictures and thinking all that could I look a bit old or I look a bit this and that's kind of what egged me on to do it.' Straight-talking Patsy admits it was a 'gifted procedure', telling us: 'I'm not sure if I would have gone ahead with it if it wasn't. 'But I have always, for years and years, had just an insecurity about my eyes. They just turn more down than they did almond-shaped, and I think having almond-shaped eyes is one thing that a lot of girls want, and it's something that I had wanted.' Love Island beauty reveals terrifying ordeal after she's followed by man and forced to flee screaming Before appearing on Love Island, Patsy had threads done but says they dropped within just a day. Since being in the villa, Patsy has been offered a number of free cosmetic procedures, before finally settling on a clinic in Turkey. After a few days Patsy felt brave enough to leave her hotel room, but found it too hard with people staring at her. She's now concerned about how people online will react, telling us: 'I know that people are going to have an opinion and that's fine, they're allowed to have an opinion. 7 Patsy reveals she always had an insecurity about her eyes Credit: The Mega Agency 7 She appeared on Love Island last year but failed to find love Credit: Rex 7 Patsy has shown off her new look - just two weeks after her surgery 'I am almost 31, like, you know, I can make my own decisions and I think I wouldn't recommend this and I won't be recommending it to any like young people who follow me or young fans of Love Island.' Patsy burst onto our screens last summer and initially coupled up with Ayo before being picked by Munveer. But after just a few days they were voted out by their fellow Islanders. Despite being on screen for just 10 days, Patsy made an impact - as she discussed having Erb's Palsy. What is Erb's Palsy? The NHS says that the condition stems from a difficult birth, when the baby's head or arm is pulled during delivery. This can damage nerves responsible for the movement and feeling to the arms. In turn this can result in partial or full paralysis, depending on the level of damage caused. Some 80-90 percent of children do fully recover, but it is entirely dependant on the amount of damage sustained. The birth defect occurred after Patsy was delivered naturally rather than via Caesarean section. She says that going on the show has helped her confidence grow in terms of her disability but has had a negative impact elsewhere. 'My confidence in terms of my arm I think has got better,' she explains. 'My confidence in terms of other things maybe not - because you're constantly compared to all these other girls who have been on and you know put next to them. 'So confidence in your looks can go down for some people and for me with my arm, it was such a positive reaction and not as many trolls as I thought coming off of it were on me about my arm. So my confidence I'd say has gone up in that sense.' In general, Love Island wasn't the fairytale experience she had been hoping for, admitting: 'You have this vision in your head that it's going to be the most amazing summer of your life. 'And I definitely thought in my head, oh, they've got someone for me. I was going to meet my perfect match in there because they must have matched me up with someone. 7 Patsy has struggled with her confidence since doing Love Island Credit: Rex 'And so, going on and not having that experience, not staying for that long and not finding love with someone or finding a new connection, it can be just underwhelming and a bit of a letdown.' Patsy quit her job in office administration to the show and has since struggled with a career path. 'Navigating what to do post Love Island has been a bit of a struggle,' she says. She's now planning a move to Australia and is hoping to find a normal 9-5. And her love life? Patsy says it's been a bit of disaster since the show. She refuses to try Raya, preferring Hinge instead, saying: 'I don't think Love Island went that well because I don't think my sort of boy is on Love Island or Raya. I need like a just a bloke from down the road who works on a building site.' Patsy will no doubt be inundated with offers from Australian builders when she moves Down Unders and she tells us if all else fails there's also Love Island Australia. Whatever happens, we don't think it will be the last we see of her.

EYE SEE Fox eye is a huge new cosmetic surgery trend, loved by the likes of former WAG Danielle Lloyd. The trend sees supposedly invisible strings put in above the eyes to pull them upwards. It uses biodegradable threads to surgically lift the eyes and the results can last anything from weeks up until a year. Fox Eye Surgery - what is it, and which celebs have had it? LOVE Island alum Patsy Field has revealed she's undergone fox eye surgery - but what is it? The Fox Eye surgery trend sees supposedly invisible strings put in above the eyes to pull them upwards. It uses biodegradable threads to surgically lift the eyes and the results can last anything from weeks up until a year. Former Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle revealed she'd had the procedure in March 2021. In 2019, ex glamour model Katie was seen undergoing a similar surgical procedure in Turkey, where she opted for a face and eye lift. Chloe Ferry revealed she was a fan in 2022 while Patsy's fellow Love Island alum Mollie Salmon opted for the surgery more recently, back in 2023. Dr. Omar Tillo - plastic surgeon and medical director at CREO Clinic - has warned about the additional risks of getting cosmetic procedures done abroad. He said: "Sadly, the cosmetic surgery tourism industry is not above massaging the truth to lure patients to medical tourism hotspots, including Turkey, Poland or Thailand. "Unscrupulous online marketing tactics are unregulated, meaning that the hundreds of positive reviews you see on consumer sites could be fake. What looks like a premium facility may really only be an illusion created by elaborate and aggressive marketing. "Many medical tourists will forget about the return journey and the complications that can come with long-distance travel following a recent surgery. "Flying within the same week of a cosmetic procedure can greatly increase the chances of blood clots, which could lead to deep vein thrombosis or a pulmonary embolism." 'Queen of Harley Street' Lesley Reynolds previously told told OK!: Unlike other areas of the face, the skin around the brow and outer corner of the eye is already quite tight, while the brow area is quite bony, making the skin difficult to lift. "In some patients scar tissue can encapsulate around the threads, which means they cannot be dissolved successfully. This can cause ripples and lumps under the skin. "In other patients, lifting the skin can often cause folding and puckering, as the skin has nowhere to go once it has been pulled up - unlike surgery when excess skin is excised. If the threads are not inserted correctly, there can be a loss of sensation in the area." CELEB FANS Former Celebrity Big Brother star Danielle revealed she'd had the procedure in March 2021. Speaking to Closer magazine at the time, Danielle said: "I want to look my best, and this procedure prevents things like jowls and lines, so I thought, 'Prevention is better than cure!' I know I'm a little bit obsessed but it makes me feel better." In 2019, former glamour model Katie was seen undergoing a similar surgical procedure in Turkey, where she opted for a face and eye lift.
