Boots shoppers ditch foundation for 'magic' anti-redness product slashed to £10

The Cicapair Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment is on sale for £10 at Boots - and shoppers are hailing it as 'magic' Boots has rolled out their much-anticipated £10 Tuesday beauty deals, and this week there's a product that shoppers are hailing as 'magic', with some going as far as to ditch foundation for the skincare-makeup hybrid hero. The Cicapair Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment, usually retails for £19.50 at both Boots and LookFantastic, but has been slashed to £10 for a limited time. Designed to alleviate redness and balance skin tone, this colour corrector boasts a cream formulation that's wearable solo or beneath foundation. It shifts from green to beige upon contact, neutralising any redness and seamlessly adjusting to your skin's true hue for light, natural coverage. It's not just a temporary solution either, with the formula offering long-term benefits, too. Customers reported that redness 'calmed down a little bit after consistent daily use.' The TikTok viral product is specially formulated with a skin-boosting blend of herbs, minerals, probiotic ferment and hydrating components to soothe, calm, and moisturise the look of skin. The multi-use product is perfect for those no-makeup days and can replace your primer on makeup-makeup days. Dr Jart isn't the only brand offering anti-redness formulas. Elsewhere, Erborian CC Red Correct is an anti-redness cream that has a soothing effect and SPF25. It costs £19 for 15ml and works to minimises the appearance of redness and discolouration for balanced-looking results. Cicapair™ Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment £19.50 £10.00 Boots Buy here Product Description Alternatively, Rosalique 3 in 1 Anti-Redness Miracle Formula is currently £29.99 on Amazon. Rosalique is specially developed for hypersensitive and redness-prone skin, utilising unique micro-encapsulated technology, it provides an instant concealing effect. Having become a household name in the beauty industry, it's no surprise that the Cicapair Tiger Grass Colour Correcting Treatment has gained an impressive 3.9 out of five-star rating on the Boots website. One said: " Magic. Gets rid of redness on skin or imperfections to the face." One shopper, who ordered the Dr Jart product on offer, said: 'I'm so impressed. I have really dark circles under my eyes and lots of redness around my face. "I usually just use concealer all over as a lighter option to foundation, but this has firmly replaced that, especially for summertime. It's super lightweight and colour corrects the darkness and redness perfectly. I am very pale anyway and haven't noticed any particular white cast because of that.' Another penned: 'Just great. I'm never going to use foundation ever again. My skin looks so much better once I put it on. Definitely will keep using it.' However, not everyone has got along with the product. One said: 'Unfortunately although it gave slight coverage with redness, it was way too light for me and made me look really pale, also was too oily for under foundation.' Though another added: "Incredible. Amazing results, my number one from now on. "I've never used something like this cream before, and my skin looks 100 times better already after few uses." Holly Willoughby's colour correcting primer is £10 less than the viral Stila one

Holly Willoughby is known for her fresh-faced natural beauty looks, and it turns out the secret behind her makeup is this affordable colour correcting primer After countless years appearing on our TV screens, you'd be forgiven for thinking that Holly Willoughby would have curated a beauty routine that's full of expensive products. However, her makeup artist Patsy O'Neill revealed that there's actually plenty of affordable products she uses to prep Holly's skin before heading on camera. As every beauty fan knows, the secret to long-lasting, flawless makeup all starts with your base, which is why we were thrilled to discover that Patsy actually uses a very affordable product on Holly. Whilst doing Holly's makeup for Dancing on Ice, the MUA shared that she used Super Facialist's Skin Perfecting Primer, which hydrates, protects, refines and colour corrects skin. You can pick up the multi-use primer for £16.98 on Amazon right now, making it the perfect affordable alternative to the cult favourite Stila One Step Correct Primer, which is priced at £28. The Super Facialist primer also comes in two different shades, medium-deep and fair-light, to suit all skin tones. It's packed with skin-nourishing ingredients like cica, which helps soothe and calm skin, niacinamide to control oil and improve texture, and hyaluronic acid which hydrates and boosts moisture retention. As well as benefitting your skin underneath, the primer also gets your skin ready for your makeup to be applied, giving you a solid base to let your products shine. It features blurring technology to help smooth imperfections and pores, as well as a built-in colour corrector thanks to the multiple pigments. This helps balance and even out skin tone, tone down any redness and brighten up sallow complexions, as well as improving all over dullness. If redness is your main concern, you could also try the Erborian CC Red Correct, which combines green pigments with nourishing ingredients to help neutralise redness and discolouration. To reduce dullness, you could also try out the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Color Corrector which comes in six shades and promises to brighten your skin tone and camouflage everything from dark circles to blemishes. However, Super Facialist's Skin Perfecting Primer promises to do all of these things in one, which is why it's not surprising it's gotten such good reviews on Amazon. One wrote: 'Great product for mid tone to dark skinned women. Evens out skin well and provides a good base for make up. Lightweight and breathable.' Whilst another agreed: 'Really lovely primer, smooth, easy to put on. Best I've ever used. Will definitely be buying again.' Some did find some issues, writing: 'Always wanted to try a colour correcting primer like this. Whilst it smooths on nicely, I don't notice any particular improvement in skin tone and I don't find it particularly suitable for oily skin.' However others couldn't get enough, with one reviewer praising: 'Absolutely amazing primer. Make a real difference under foundation and has a lasting effect,' and 'It tones my red down and for the price it's just as good as other more expensive brands.'
