On Nov. 6, McCartney plays a one-night gig at The Pinnacle, a new concert hall in Music City operated by live entertainment giant and Got Back tour promoter AEG Presents. The room reaches capacity at 4,500 people, making it one of the most intimate venues booked on a McCartney tour in recent memory (not including pop-up shows or impromptu gigs). The Pinnacle opened in February 2025, since hosting multi-night shows with Jack White, Jason Isbell and Eric Church, among others. Still, bringing McCartney to Nashville is a 'defining moment' for the room, said Mike DuCharme, regional vice president at AEG Presents. Allen Corbett, vice president of AEG Presents Carolinas, added, 'To be able to get Paul to agree to play The Pinnacle, a brand new state of the art venue, is a dream come true. It's going to be a very special intimate evening and I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it.' McCartney kicks off his Got Back tour Sept. 29 in Palm Desert, California. Stops include Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Coors Field in Denver, two nights at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and two nights at United Center in Chicago. According to Tennessean archives, his time in Nashville included visits with Johnny Cash and Chet Atkins, watching movies at the local drive-in cinema and crashing a performance from Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner. Country star shares personal message with fans after 'frustrating' sickness set back

Country singer Luke Bryan has shared a personal message with fans after suffering a 'frustrating' sickness set back. The 48-year-old star took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday to offer a heartfelt message as he continues to recover from illness. 'What's up y'all? Hope everybody had a great 4th and I wanted to thank everybody for all the well wishes for the last few shows that I had to postpone and obviously cancel,' he said. 'I want to thank my buddy Eric Church for stepping in and helping out with me. 'It really, really gets frustrating getting sick like that and losing my voice and having to take a couple weekends off. 'But thank you guys for supporting me. I love y'all, and we'll see y'all in the shows to come. Love you.' The singer added: 'Huge thanks to my buddy Eric Church for stepping in last minute — and of course, putting on a kick-a** show like he always does.' It is not clear what illness Luke had but he now seems to be well on his way to recovery. Fellow singer Eric stepped in for Luke at Country Stampede in Bonner Springs, Kansas, on June 26, NebraskaLand Days in North Platte, Nebraska, on June 27, and Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colorado, on June 28, per Country Now. When he initially missed the shows, the star told fans his voice 'was just not there yet.' A few days earlier, Luke was able to perform in Rogers, Arkansas, but refunded everyone's tickets because he thought his voice wasn't at its best. 'I'm going to get real with y'all. This is the weirdest thing I've ever dealt with in my life,' he told the crowd. 'I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don't know why. 'But you guys keep showing up year after year to see me put on a show.' Bryan continued, 'I saw Luke Combs do this a couple years ago when he was having a weird night onstage and I said, "You know what? That's pretty cool." 'So I don't give a damn, I'm gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight and we're going to keep doing the damn show, okay?' The star is set to return to the stage on July 10 in Ontario, Canada. He is currently on his Country Song Came on Tour, which has more stops in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on July 11 and Hershey, Pennsylvania, on July 12. Luke has had a slew of talented special guests who have been featured at his shows, including George Birge, Avery Anna, Ashland Craft, Mae Estes, Cole Goodwin, and Braxton Keith. The list also boasts Randall King, Vincent Mason, Drake Milligan, Adrien Nunez, and Owen Riegling on select dates.
