As Rib Fest wraps up, one organizer reflects on rainy day difficulties
The Erie Wild Rib Cook-Off & Music Festival is done and over, but was it as successful as years past?
Performance and event manager Kathi Danielson said this was one of the toughest to date, and she has been doing this for 21 years.

She said all four days were difficult with the cold and rain.
This year, there were more vendors than in previous years, but the weather did put a damper on some of the fun.
EMTA reminds riders of upcoming route changes
'It was quite an impact to the event, but I have to tell you that the vendors that come to this event are very well seasoned and they understand that I have no control over the weather and they will be back next year and they are so looking forward to it,' said Danielson.
The winner of the 1st place for best ribs was After Hours BBQ.
